Coincidentally, I took on a team full of legendaries and knocked out a Giratina with a Honchkrow, and it (Honchkrow) wasn't even fully EV trained.

As others have said, the simplicity. If you want to battle against other human players these days, you need to go out and find Pokemon with good numbers, and good natures, EV train the suckers in the right stats, and put together a good moveset where every move compliments the other, and...
