Yeah I've noticed that there's a lot more statuses flying around in V, even that Grass/Steel can paralyze you and that Water/Ghost can burn you, Guts is invaluable for him.

This things speed and common weaknesses hurt it badly. Uglamoth is more of a sweeper than this thing, there's a lot of Dark moves (Pursuit, Sucker Punch) which just cripple Shan. This thing will most likely take down whatever it switched into though.

My Life Orbed +2 Bullet Punching Scizor has killed this thing 100% of the time after its taken SR damage. If you nip on Pokemon Online I can show you if you want to see it with your own eyes.

I keep on seeing this thing on every team and I came to see why. It gets destroyed as a lead thanks to Trick and when it switches in it loses 50% of its health, letting my Bullet Punching Scizor take it down in one hit.

I'm struggling to find something to counter this then. Maybe Pursuiting Tyran? But couldn't it just run HP Fighting to destroy him?

Maybe a counter for this thing would be Thick Fat Snorlax with Whirlwind. Well as long as your entry hazards haven't been cleared.
