I'll help a little with what you need to get items. (HM's and stuff)

Edit:

TM02- Surf and Waterfall

TM06- Strength

TM22- Mack Bike

All evolutionary stones: Dive (You need to get shards with dive)

Hondew: I'm nearly sure you need the Arco Bike to get this one, but if someone could confirm it that would be nice.

I also decided to get locations for more items:

Everstone: Granite Cave

Thanks you two, though I only listed the competitive TMs and HMs romon1, though I very much appreciate the information I could use. =]

The OP will be updated with other items and locations, though I would really appreciate some volunteers to snapshot these items, since I don't have a ROM.

What items do you exactly need screen shots for? The hold items? TMs? Getting them can be done in a relatively short time.

@Xia - Extend to all HMs, competitive or not, as they are necessary to complete the game.

Also:

Draco Meteor tutor and the one that teaches the three super moves to your starters should be on here.

There is an extended list of items in the FR/LG thread (see my post) that should be pulled into here.

@ Malfunction - Would you like to do the tutors again?

Xia

@eric: Thanks, will add that in as well.

@Malfunction: That would be great. Thank you! =]

@mingot: Will do. Would it also be useful to list the areas where high-priced items could be found?

EDIT: mingot, according to Bulbapedia, Draco Meteor's from Gen IV and the Elemental attacks are FRLG only.

PP Ups can be found in Victory Road (Strength, Rock Smash), the Lottery for matching 2 numbers, Route 103 East (Cut), Route 104 North (Surf), Route 109 (Surf), Meteor Falls (Surf, Waterfall), Route 115, and Route 123 (Surf).

Thaks Malfunction!

I'm not entirely sure whether more screenshots will be necessary, and won't know until someone above me talks with Sarenji about what's needed.

For the time being, let's just stick to what the other location maps threads are doing and keep things uniform.

Done!

Well, I'll be responsible for taking screen shots for all these items, so I wanted to make sure if there is any thing else left, just so I don't some it and then have to start a new game all over again, which will make it take quite a bit of time ^_^

I'll be editing in my progress here.

Just so you know, mingot said he wants a small screenshot for every item listed, so that's what I'd like done.

Thanks malfunction, you're a great help!

If there are any other items that anyone would like to add to the list, please post them; otherwise, I believe this project just has to wait for screenshots to be completed.

It might be nice to flesh out the location descriptions for parity with the other articles if you are up to it.

Just posting to say that I'm still working on this. Sorry it's taking some time :(

I edited my above post with a link. Such screen shots are good enough, right?

@Malfunctoin: Thank you very much! I'll be editing these in momentarily.

@mingot: I'll be fleshing out the locatoins soon; college and high school are eating up a lot of my free time during the week and I haven't had a lot of time to speed run my Emerald lately.

Just posting to say that I updated my post with another set of screen shots. Sorry this is taking a while:(

I have finished most of the major things in the game, and got most of the essential stuff (Fly, Surf, Strength..), and I should finish the game tomorrow. After that, I'll go hunting for the items that need to be done. There should be a good amount of caps coming in the upcoming 2 days.

Just wanted to keep you guys updated ;)

I have updated my above post with another set of caps (quite a bit of them this time!).

I'm sorry I keep posting like this, from now on, I'll edit my above post with any caps I finish. When done, I'll post here saying so. Just keep checking here from time to time, in case anything is up, just so you don't edit them all at once (kinda tiring).

I should be done in the following 2-3 days.

@Toothache: I should be able to, though I'm a little behind schedule with this guide (I apologise for this).

My next big update will include Itemfinder items, as well as more in-depth descriptions for TMs and HMs.

@Malfunction: thanks! I'll make sure to refer back.
