Location Maps: Emerald GP: 2/2

Malfunction

nice desu ne
Just posting to say that I'm uploading the final batch of screen caps. When done, I'll add the link above.

And with that, I'm done with all the screen shots, bare the ones where you need to steal the items from Pokemon (i'll ask mingot about them). If you find anything else missing, or need anything else, just contact me!

Also, Xia, there's a green shard next to lilycove's exit, in an underwater patch on the south.

Thanks Malfunction. I'd actually appreciate it more if you just posted the link on this page of the thread, so the title bolds and I don't miss a week in between updates. =P

Also, for mingot: I'm slowly running (oxymoron) through Emerald again, and will be updating the OP with more in-depth TM locations soon.

Posting to give a quick update of how things are going.

I've reformatted the OP to better match the OP of the 4th Gen Locations Maps thread, and have been able to start listing more in-depth TM locations starting today (I should average about 10-15 per day).

I do believe this guide is finished. I'll start on HTMLizing it after nitpicking through it for errors (others can feel free to help me with this as well).

Does the Jirachi disk work with Emerald, and is it different from Ruby/Sapphire? For what it's worth, Jirachi came with either a Salac or Ganlon berry on Ruby and Sapphire. (not Petaya)

Really? Hmm. It appears that Bulbapedia is incorrect, then. Thanks for catching this.

This was grammar checked before the idea of a GP team was thought up by a current member. Can I assume then that I can HTMLize this so it can go on-site (it's been a year...)?

I've updated the OP with direct links to all of the screenshots I could incorporate into the final on-site guide. Would someone with the proper authority please put these pictures on smogon so I can link to them in the article?

I realize Xia disappeared again, but I checked this in case someone else wants to take it over, or if Xia becomes active again.

Also, I was unsure on whether or not it was supposed to be "Shard Maniac" or "Shard Collector". I assumed it was Shard Collector, as that is what Xia used first, but then he switched to using Shard Maniac. If someone could confirm which name is correct, that'd be fantastic.

Anyway:

GP 1/2

EDIT: OK thanks Fate, changed it to that name.

Ok, so I finished HTMLing this, but made some additions and removals while doing so, I added deepseascale/tooth, removed the elixers and ethers, and added the vitamins (also for the vitamins I only added the locations you can purchase them, if anyone wants to find individual locations for them go for it). I also fleshed out some of the descriptions. Finally, there's the issue of screenshots for the items: I have no problem getting individual screenshots for each area that the item is located in, but I want to know if it will be too much to upload for a single article. So, if the other mods can get back to me here or on IRC that would help, so I know if I have to remove some of the image tags. I already took screenshots for instances where the item was missing one entirely.

<dt>The Battle Frontier's Tutors</dt>
<dd>After beating the Elite Four and unlocking the Battle Frontier, you will find a house near the Battle Arena with two tutors who will both be able to teach your Pokemon some moves at cost of some Battle Points. Unlike the other Tutors throughout Hoenn, these two will teach your Pokemon the move you select as many times as you want, provided you have enough Battle Points.</dd>

Ok, so instead of taking screenshots for everything, I took screenshots for those items that were most important or had a few locations, stuff that had a large number of locations like heart scales only get 1 screenshot for the first location. Berries have images for almost all locations you can get them. I changed the HTML to reflect this.

The following are the pictures for the Vitamins (Carbos, Protein, Zinc, etc...) I was thinking of just using the same image for all of them since they all appear in the image, if people I want I can go out and get the remaining vitamins in their own screenshots.

So, your ~99 images for this article are all up onsite with proper names and everything. All you have to do now, Nexus, is download them from here and update the HTML code with the names I gave them. They're all .png images and the directory where they're located is /media/ingame/images/ . Cheers.
