Wait, so in this game you are a pokemon toy, fight with/against other toys and run around like Sheldon on coffee...........

I have a question for anybody who has played Ocarina of Time 3D. Is there any significant reason at all why I should pay $40 for a game I can download from the Virtual Console for a quarter of the price?
In general, my skepticism of the 3DS is wearing away as Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land come closer to release, but that^ game is one that I'm still FIERCELY suspicious about, mainly because the Wii is still relevant for now.
It's 3D, portable, and the water temple isn't as annoying with the new item switch system. I do believe the Master Quest is on it also (a hard mode but I got that from a WW pre-order). I did end up getting stuck in the Water Temple in Master Quest but I've never been big on doing hard difficulties on games I've already beaten if it's only something like "do the same puzzles and bosses have more health and you take more damage" kind of deal.

that's about all i can think of really.
the water temple isn't unbearable and is actually kind of fun
^This. The controls feel more intuitive.
I've already got a lot of mileage (2 completions each of original and Master Quest).
Still can't beat boss gauntlet because Bongo Bongo is a jerk.

Mario Kart 7, Paper Mario, and Super Mario Land 3D come out soon-ish. I might just drop out of school when Mario Kart comes out.
Also, I bet they're going to do a Majora's Mask for 3DS next, which would just be awesome.
EDIT: also, Master Quest on Ocarina is actually kinda hard... I'm in the Forest Temple and it's pretty tough.

I remember an article from IGN somewhere where Nintendo said another remake would be in bad taste so the next game will be completely new and then maybe another remake like MM.

EDIT: I know that this has little to do with anything but I've just noticed that Super Mario 3D Land gets released in Australia on the same day as Skyward Sword. Couldn't they have separated the dates just a bit?

So...I have OoT, am looking to get SML3DS and MK7...but dont have a 3DS yet XD Wainting until December is going to suck :P

It will probably be a decent amount more/less than 200. Could be higher cuz it's a specially customized DS, but could be less due to the fact that it's a package deal.

Ugh yeah, I just saw that Zelda DS. I'm torn between importing it or waiting to see if it shows up here so I can trade in my current 3DS. The reason I didn't buy a 3DS and Zelda right away was because I was waiting to see if they'd do this...I figured it was a no-go when the price drop happened but eh.

3DS is region locked so unless you want to import all future games from EU you know your choice.

I know games can be released late but yeah on June 17th. Then again you guys got Minish cap early so Zelda games tend to be something you always get on time. Makes me wonder why they bother bringing this out now since most fans who bought the 3DS for this game (and the eventual others of course) who have waited in line for it.
Majora's Mask 3D will be released at what date? I am looking foward to it.
