Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Let's continue where we left off. Steamy's getting pretty steamed himself and lets off some steam with a monstrous Fire Blast Grace's way! Just as the blast was about to incinerate Grace, however, she nimbly Detects the attack and happily comes off with no burns whatsoever! Except her Will-O-Wisp hand burns...
The Fire Blast definitely took a toll on Steamy's energy, so he goes for a lesser move choice - an Ember! This tickles Grace a bit and digs slightly deep into her already burnt hands, but that doesn't stop her from grabbing his body and Vital Throwing him onto the rails of the arena! The impact of the throw was great, but not enough to break the rails, mostly due to how hurtful it was to throw Steamy while burned!
I see something... repeated. Steamy backs off from the rail... though as he did that, the rails flew off into the sky and fell onto the ground! Dangerous! And what's even more dangerous is that Steamy is preparing a enraged Fire Blast! After some time, it's making its way toward Grace. As usual, however, she Detects the move like a graceful dancer and cartwheels away!
"Steamy! Are you okay?"
The poor Charmander was panting heavily; those last few attacks had sapped its energy reserves to the last drop.
(He's exhausted... there's no way he's going to be able to use even one more attack. There's only one thing I can do...)
"That's enough! Grace wins this round!"
Grabbing a towel from his backpack, Showsni threw it out into the arena.
"You did great out there Steamy! Now have a nice rest. Don't worry, we'll finish this battle off for you!"
Showsni grabbed a Pokéball, ready to send out his final Pokémon.
(Or, in short, Steamy concedes this round to Grace (who can have all the necessary KO tokens and whatnot) to save him getting hurt more.)
Showsni threw the Pokéball in a high arc, and his Teddiursa appeared.
"Okay, we're going to use the high risk high reward stratgey we practised! You know how it goes!"
Teddy knew indeed how it went. It was a somewhat reckless strategy, but could bring huge benefits.
"Start by using Toxic on yourself. You shouldn't be able to miss when you're aiming at yorself! Once you're poisoned, your Quick Feet will activate; that's the perfect time to hit him hard with your now boosted Facade attack, twice in a row!"
Okay, Grace, let's go for it, and get it over with.
Vital Throw him, and try to aim towards the gap in the fence. Then Double Slap him, and finish off with another Vital Throw, again aiming towards the edge
Okay, I'm not really sure what happens when the rails break and you throw a Pokemon out of the ring (I wish the OP stated it in-depth or something). I can either be really mean and make it an auto-KO (because it would! certainly falling down onto the concrete of the roads/streets from a towering Silph Co building is death!) or do something like additional damage and teleport the Pokemon back onto stage. I'm liking the second one because an instant KO is just too much imo.
As Steamy concedes to his more agile opponent, his backup, Teddy, appears from his Pokeball, ready to rip shreds of Grace into dust!
Teddy begins by spewing Toxic gases in the air... but only in his area! The Toxic immediately cloud onto Teddy's body and give him a dose of poison while also activating his Quick Feet ability! Yikes! This set-up leaves Teddy wide open for a Vital Throw assault! Grace viciously picks up Teddy's aggressive body and throws him right at the bent rail! This was so hard that it broke the rail off and caused Teddy to fall off the building! After 10 seconds of intense falling, a THWOMP can be heard and it seems like Teddy took INSANE damage! An Abra passes by the fallen Teddy, and with pleasure, Teleports him back onto the arena.
STILL slower, Teddy yelps in pain as he's being Doubleslapped by the much quicker Grace! SLAP! NO MARRIAGE! SLAP! DIVORCE ANYWAY! SLAP! DID YOU GET ME PREGNANT? And that's three! This makes Teddy RAGE WITH ANGER and FACADE Grace right across the arena! Blood is dripping from her face, but she's still preparing to make her final mark on the mad bear.
With this! Grace immediately makes her way toward Teddy, thrashes him onto the ground, and rolls him over toward the same broken railing for a Vital Throw! The hit was precise and sound, making Teddy... wait a minute, Teddy's not going anyway! Look at him, all mighty and strong! Like a beast, he grabs onto Grace's ruined face and slams a Facade onto the lady, sending her flying toward the other side! BASH! And Grace lies on the ground as if she were a doll, never to lift a single arm again in this high arena...
Teddy
A1: Toxic (self) > [7 Energy]
1 damage from toxic
A2: Facade > 14 + 3 + (3-1 x 1.5) = [20 Damage][7 Energy] 1 damage from toxic
A3: Facade > 14 + 3 + (3-1 x 1.5) = [20 Damage][11 Energy]
1 damage from toxic
Grace
A1: Vital Throw > 7 + 3 + (3-1 x 1.5) + (1-0 x 1.5) x 1.5 = 22 - 3 = [19 Damage][4 Energy]
-2 HP
you know how falling down a freaking roof is death. but it's pokemon, so let's say 20 damage for Teddy, sounds good! ^_^__^_^_^_^
A2: Doubleslap > 2 (3) + (3-1 x 1.5) + (1-0 x 1.5) = 11 - 3 = [8 Damage][4 Energy]-2 HP
A3: Vital Throw > 7 + 3 + (3-1 x 1.5) + (1-0 x 1.5) x 1.5 = 22 - 3 = [19 Damage][4 Energy] (nope)
20 damage
-2 HP
vital throw has negative priority.
