BATTLE ON!

Arena:

A Senator's Home

That's right, a Senator's home. Pokemon won't be hurt by slamming into the things within his house (and who cares about damage to his place anyway?), and weather can be used after a few AoE attacks break the building open. However, it's a politician's home, so they've decided that the items, like themselves, must be completely useless: that is, they cannot effect damage or energy or status or priority or anything else relevant to the fight itself. If one of those items is brought into battle, the Senator will force through a Bill which does 5 DPA to the Pokemon in question.

Rules:

6 vs. 6 Singles
2-day DQ
2 Recoveries / 5 Chills per Pokemon
Abilities=ALL
Items=ON
Switch=OK

Teams:

Dark STAB; Immunity to all telepathic and telekinetic attacks, better performance in all darkened and especially twilight conditions. Can use any Dark-type attack regardless of Attraction.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Sand Stream
Type: Innate
When entering into battle, this Pokemon summons a massive Sandstorm that does not end, expending 10% of its energy to do so. It can re-summon the effect mid-battle for 9% Energy with a command.

Ability 2: Unnerve (DW)
Type: Innate
The Pokemon's presense causes immense tension in the opponent, preventing them from eating a held Berry. Natural Gift may still be used.

The Tournament Arena's free but we're going to sneak into a Senator's house to battle because that's more fun. Terrador and Ragnarokalex both live on the edge and, as sociopaths, don't understand consequences, so let's get to it! Terrador sends out Nappa the Gengar right into the living room and Ragnarokalex releases Ragnarok the Gallade nearby, and the two get right into the action!

Nappa throws up a quick Protective wall that blocks Ragnarok's Taunt, and then the nasty ghost Taunts Ranarok' right back! The fooled Gallade tries to set up a Light Screen, but is so enraged by Nappa's bad attitude that the move fails! Ragnarok is so mad, in fact, that it rushes over, leaps over the coffee table, and connects with a Psycho Cut that does tons of damage! But look, Nappa prepared for the blow and unleashed an even huger Counter-strike!

--------------------

Tahlzara quickly Taunts Agamemnon, but the ferocious Nidoking wants none of it and rages into a giant Earth Power! This makes Tahlzara switch tactics to hitting hard with two successive Earthquakes, but Agamemnon sees the tactic coming from a mile away and Counters both strikes, leaving Tahlzara on low health! But it seems Tahlzara's Static energy got the best of Agamemnon, as the counter-strikes leave it paralyzed! Oh no!

--------------------

Tahlzara Protects himself but to no avail, as Agamemnon ignores his opponent completely and instead sets up a Stealth Rock trap for Tahlzara's teammates! Tahlzara gets miffed but stays on the defensive with a Reflective barrier that probably saves its life against Agamemnon's incoming Earthquake attack! The barrier may have helped Tahlzara, but it didn't help the crumbling foundation of the house after all these blows! Tahlzara returns the favor with an Earthquake of its own, leaving Agamemnon hurt badly and fully paralyzed and leaving the house on splintered beams and cracking walls! Oh no! Guys, be careful!

Oh, balls. I completely forgot about that. gdi me for not remembering it, and gdi Korski for not putting it up in the postround. Order away, Alex; I'm p. sure that Korski will rule for a Struggle there. Nido will have a bit more EN and 4 less HP, so yeah.

Okay guys that sucked and I'm sorry. What I've done is just sort of done a hybrid of things and made the Stealth Rock fail and cost the energy it takes to try and use the move. I know that isn't exactly how it's supposed to work, but I think it's fair because I messed up and Nido shouldn't be forced to hurt itself because of that. I don't think it'll be hugely significant, but it's fixed now, so go ahead and order, guys.
