Dusclops (QC 3/3) DO NOT GP

[Overview]

-HP is crap
-Defenses with Eviolite are almost that of Shuckle's
-Good support movepool with Will-O-Wisp, Toxic, Pain Split, etc.
-Attack is mediocre

[SET]
name: RestTalk
move 1: Rest
move 2: Sleep Talk
move 3: Will-O-Wisp
move 4: Seismic Toss
item: Eviolite
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]

-Rest allows you to heal off status.
-Will-O-Wisp spreads status.
-Seismic Toss is your best shot at dealing damage.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

-Taunt or Toxic can be used on the set in one of the last two moveslots.
-Teammates should be able to take out Pokemon that 3HKO you.

[Other Options]

-Trick Room works, but you can't really abuse it yourself.
-Toxic-stall
-Calm Mind
-Destiny Bond
-Memento
-Curse with Pain Split can be annoying.
-Night Shade hits Ghosts, but aren't you 2HKOed by Shadow Ball?

[Checks and Counters]

-Guts sweepers, especially those with Dark attacks.
-Milotic if it lacks Toxic
-Xatu reflect status and Taunt
-Taunt screws it up.
-Flash Fire users, especially Chandelure and Houndoom.

Add a rest talk set; it's good for people who want more reliability, and even though it gets "2HKOed by everything with a Dark move", so does the set on site, and you switch out of Dark-type attacks........

Also mention Curse in the other options section, and Seismic Toss

mention some teammates that help against Pokemon that beat it!

on the support set, definitely put toxic first over taunt. dusclops is slow as fuck, you're not taunting anything really. protect is always a nice move to have on a wall as well, maybe want to mention that in other options.

ugh dusclops is so bad...

Since will-o-wisp is really the only thing it does well remove the toxic slash in the resttalk set. Because Dusclops really only needs night shade / wow / recovery, the resttalk set should be listed first. Reliable recovery and curing status is better than a moveslot that you're never going to use anyway.

Make those changes and this is QC APPROVED 1/3

RestTalk should be the only set. All Dusclops does in UU is sit around and block spin / burn things. Because of that, it only really needs Will-o-Wisp, and some decent recovery. As Snunch said, you're never gonna use the last slot, so you might as well dedicate 2 moveslots to reliable recovery.

QC APPROVED 2/3

Also, I'll be having a detailed look over the write-up, to make sure it's up to scratch grammar and content wise. So before you put this in the GP queue, let me have a look over it first.

Not really sure why Night Shade > Seismic Toss though... I'd much rather hit normal types than ghost types. It's not like Dusclops is beating any of his fellow ghosts (Froslass/Missy busting out Shadow Ball, Sableye Taunt/W-o-W/Recover). I'd say go with Seismic Toss.
