The leader sends out Mask the Kitsunoh to salvage some of this battle. If it will manage to do so, I guess we will see soon.
Mask is the one that begins this match-up, by using Psycho Shift for...okay, you got me, I have no idea. Mask doesn't have a status ailment so I really don't know :/.
Kujira isn't willing to find out and proceeds to pound Mask into submission with Earthquake powered by Soft Sand and Colossoil's insane atk.
On the second turn, Mask uses Pain Split to share its pain with its opponent, for a price, of course. Kujira isn't bothered and emits quick shockwaves to Bulldoze Mask and slow it down.
Finally, Kujira attacks again with Earthquake and Mask uses combination of Metal Burst + Metal Burst to reflect it back for great damage...at the cost of all its energy. Kitsunoh fainted.
I must say that was an...instructive round. Perhaps I missed some hidden effect.
Either way, Engineer has the badge almost at his hands. He just needs to bring it home. At least at a first glance.
