Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.

The final standoff has begun! Myrkul, using the twisted dimensions to his advantage, lunges forwards to slam the massive Megawhal with a chop strong enough to shatter bricks! Megawhal, in response, bounces into the air and slams Myrkul with similar force. Myrkul, undaunted by the whale's powerful strike, launches yet another of his own, slamming his fist down on Megawhal's head like a hammer, but Megawhal doesn't seem to be bothered, and starts giving Myrkul dirty looks with that creepy grin of his, taunting him into a rage. Finally, Myrkul prepares to restore some of the health he lost with Drain Punch, but Colossoil creates a blue force field around himself, protecting him from the blow!
I added in the Expert Belt effect IAR. Also note that I forgot to apply the arena effect to draining attacks last round for Drain Punch, so I fixed that too.

Megawhal fainted!
The final round is upon us! It's_A_Random, desperate to defeat the mummy, orders his Pokemon to Bounce, and Megawhal once again leaping high into the air, striking Myrkul so hard this time that he becomes paralyzed! It doesn't seem to phase Myrkul though, who, remembering the damage, strikes back for even more! Megawhal, still doing everything it can, leaps into the air once again to strike Myrkul, who then funnels his vengeance into a powerful attack, and then launches a punch straight into Megawhal's face! With a bellow of sorrow, the Colossoil falls backwards and crashes to the ground, smashing several tombstones and sending up a cloud of debris. When the air clears, Megawhal is unconscious. Myrkul has successfully beaten the collosus... and that means: Gym Leader Zarator has won the match!
It's important to be tough and resilient when you battle, don't you think? You have to accept that both sides will get hurt. You have to understand that the pain of losing is a natural outcome. If you just focus on winning, you can forget that the bond between you and your Pokémon is the most important thing. I try to focus on that bond in my novels. I want them to be full of heart and soul!
Gratz, IAR, for posing such a tough challenge. Hoping to see you again!
