The serene yet resolute Lucy takes the field after her fallen comrade. With the new opponent in his sights, Overcast puffs himself up and bellows a mighty gust of wind that sends the Ralts flying into a nearby boulder. However, Lucy gets back to her feet and surrounds herself in a protective screen. While Overcast recuperates, Lucy conjures several curious flames and launches it towards the dragon. Unfortunately, Lucy completely misses her target. Now forced to take a stream of draconic flames, Lucy uses her telekinesis to toss Overcast into the ground as the downpour comes to a close.

The fact that I'm still struggling to get an edge over you even with screens and hazards proves that my tactics are still found wanting - I guess beatdown is still the most viable strategy in ASB. Maybe I should put the environment I've created to a better use... See those Spikes on the ground Lucy? You'd have to cast Overcast-Monohm right at them. Hopefully impaling that fluffy monstrosity will help us a little in this situation, though I doubt we can do this consecutively before the spikes start entangle themselves between Overcast-Monohm's cloudy exterior. But it's best to take further precautions - if they are awaiting the Light Screen wear off before they go all-out, we might as well stall further by Encoring their so-called weakest attack.

As Lucy withstands Overcast's alternating pulse and flame attacks, she uses her telekinesis to pick up the dragon and toss him directly into the spikes! While the individual spikes are small, many of them bury deep into Overcast's scales and pierce into his skin. Lucy then pulls the dragon out to further exacerbate his wounds. Overcast manages to get off one more Sonicboom, but when Lucy suddenly cheers on the dragon, he tunes out any future orders from his trainer.

Pantherlily meets Roar's barrages of stones with barrages of his own stony body. However, as the Larvitar traps the Anorith in a cage surrounded by jagged rocks, Pantherlily knows his fate is sealed. Not one to resign to his fate, he fights back with all the raging ferocity through channeling his fallen friends. Sadly, the beaten, paralyzed Anorith is finally elimainated by Roar's rain of razor-sharp stones, while the Stealth Rocks crush the last bits of vitality from Elfman charging in tranquil rage, regardless of the futility.
