MKPP v5.00 Beta with D/P Pokedex & IV Calculator

Just got another part of v5.00 done. For those of you that are having delays with Serebii, you might want to try out this offline version. It doesn't have the Pokemon Location data yet, however. Also, the IV Calculator is in there from before. I made a couple of fixes to it from the previous release, as well.

Let me know if you have any problems or see any issues! Thanks!

You can download it here:

Ah crap, I forgot to change the connection string...
If you are getting an error about the database location, just redownload the zip file and it should work this time! Sorry about that!

At least the IV calc loaded for me in the previous version ._.

EDIT: I do have the newest version listed on your website.

Odd... Alright, this time I tested it by removing the database from that specific path and it worked. So hopefully it'll work when you download now...

Alright, I uploaded the new version. There was a small bug with the IV Calculator in that if you selected 'Unknown' as your Hidden Power type, it treated it as a real value, messing up all the values. It should also fix any crashes when trying to type into textboxes for searching, too.

Just to let you know, it generates errors when trying to load Wormadam(ground) and Wormadam(steel) in the Pokedex, and it won't display their movepools. I'm sure you're aware that the name entry field on the dex also doesn't work(the one where you type the name; it always goes to Abomasnow). Still, I must say that your Pokedex is much more usable than serebii's so good job on it, and I look forward to seeing how you improve it in the future.

I have your v4 installed already. To start using the v5 Beta, can I simply copy the new files into my v4 folder? I have the .NET Framework 2.0 installed, but the last time I tryed to use the program I got the same error as in SirSpanky's post. I just now downloaded the beta, too, so I should have the newest version, right?

EDIT: I'm dumb. I just moved everything to a new folder and it works fine >.>

All those problems are fixed if you get the latest version of the beta.

Yeah, you want to put it in its own folder. v4.00 is completely seperate from v5.00 because I have to rewrite everything due to the huge database change.

Yay, I'm a great fan of you! I think I have MKPP v4, and because Serebii IV calc doesn't have DP Pokes yet, I've been using the one on your website, which is more useful.

The new IV Calculator page for my new layout has a few more additional features that'll come in handy. It took my a while to figure out how to do some of them, but they should help quite a bit. Plus, I have an area for Instructions and Understanding the Output to help people figure the calculator out more easily.

Serebii actually does have a DP iv calc, its just well hidden. Plus, it uses the old Japanese english names, not the US ones.
