Smogon's very own University. There's an average of 300 people wandering around it at any giving time, and if there happens to be a miss, it has a 75% chance of hitting someone, and then they will viciously attack your Pokemon, losing 20 hp.

And thus we find ourselves all standing outside a huge university, and Lady Salamence and Romeert are going to have a battle. So, without further ado, if Lady Salamence could release a Pokemon, we can get started!

Let's get this started!
Go, Spot the Spinda!

Okay Spot, start off with a Work Up to boost your stats, than Faint Attack to make sure you don't accidently hit someone. Finish off with a Drain Punch to heal off some damage!

And so we finally begin the match. Lady Salamence begins by releasing out a Bagon, Hirome, and Romeert responds with Spot the Spinda, leaving us with a relatively even match. As reminder, we are standing outside Smogon University, in the garden at the entrance, which has been designed not to confer any advantage to a specific type of Pokemon, but to allow everything. Anyway, the match begins with Spot the Spinda, who outspeeds Hirome to start Working Up before it can move (7 Energy, +1 Att/SpAtt). It envigorates itself, raising its all-round offensive potential to great heights in preparation of the coming battle. In responce, Hirome moves across to nearby her and strikes her with a Dragon Claw (5 Energy, 14 Damage). It hurts her surprisingly badly, leaving her bruised slightly going forward.

Next, Spot seems to just fade into the shadow of the building, leaving Hirome just looking bewildered in the centre of the arena. Then, suddenly, Spot delivers a Faint Attack out of the shadows to Kirome, striking him without him seeing it coming (4 Energy, 8 Damage). In response, Hirome lets off a Shadow Claw at Spot, and luckily just catches the last of him coming out of the shadow, meaning that it is not very effective, but he is still lucky enough to get a critical hit on the blow (5 Energy, 8 Damage).

Finally, Spot, who is beginning to feel a bit drawn, decides to draw back a bit with a Drain Punch which goes straight to Hirome, draining power out of him and hurting him badly (8 Energy, 10 Damage, 5 Health Restored). Hirome only has time to retaliate briefly with another powerful Dragon Claw, which again knocks Spot back with suprising force, and finishes the round with the very hefty blow (5 Energy, 14 Damage). This leaves the scores looking like they favour Lady Salamence, but they are still close. Your orders, please, Lady Salamence!

Dragon Claw, Dragon Claw, Dragon Claw.
How nice.

Spot! Protect yourself, then give Hirome a taste of his own medicine with a double Copycat!

We left off last round after a frenzied series of attacks by Hirome the Bagon left Spinda looking like it was in a bit of a Spot. It continues the attacks now, jumping up towards Spot the Spinda with a Dragon Claw, ready to hit it once again (5 Energy). However, Spinda this time Protects against the blow with a strange kind of forcefield, leaving him undamaged by the blow (12 Energy).

Then, Spinda takes the initiative, and does a strange Copycat manouevre which copies Hirome's Dragon Claw exactly and turns it back on him (8 Energy, 12 Damage), hitting him very effectively for the first time and knocking him back away from him. However, Hirome once again runs up to Spot and delivers another Dragon Claw, this time hitting with deadly accuracy and battering it once again (9 Energy, 14 Damage).

Finally, the participants finish up the round just like they battled before: Spot uses Copycat once more to unleash a Dragon Claw back on Hirome (12 Energy, 12 Damage), which Hirome returns with interest as his own Dragon Claw, which once again beats Spot (13 Energy, 14 Damage). This leaves the round very even and thus Hirome still in a slightly better position, but it looks like we might be heading into a final round, and anything could happen!

And so we come to the last round of the match between Lady Salamence and Romeert. Once again, Romeert's Spot begins the action, but this time he releases some mystical energy from his eyes and uses it to try to put Bagon into a deep Hypnosis, which would stop it attacking (10 Energy). However, it misses Hirome and Hirome, relieved, runs up and delivers yet another Dragon Claw into Spot, wounding it badly (5 Energy, 14 Damage).

Then, Spot, now running dangerously close to a knockout, decides to change tack and deliver a powerful Drain Punch into Hirome, beating it up and draining its energy through its fist, partially healing itself, but perhaps not enough (8 Energy, 8 Damage, 4 Healing). Hirome, now looking solely for an early kill, continues to tear at Spot with a Dragon Claw, doing more and more damage and bringing it down to within range of an easy KO blow (9 Energy, 14 Damage)

Finally, Spot, on his last legs, delivers a powerful Drain Punch to try to stave off a knockout blow, and once again drains a lot of energy from Hirome in a bid to stay upright into the next round (12 Energy, 8 Damage, 4 Healing). However, Hirome, smelling blood, once again delivers a powerful Dragon Claw into Spot (13 Energy, 14 Damage), and finally this proves to me more than Spot can handle. He drops to the ground, defeated, and this leaves Hirome the only Pokemon left able to battle, which means Lady Salamence Wins! gg and wp to all, especially Lady Salamence, and I hope you all had fun. Just in case you didn't, though, I will post a few prizes down below.

Good game Lady Salamence! Thanks for reffing Athenodoros!

Question: Do I or do I not get a KO Counter? Here it says that I get one, but the Battle Tower says that I only get one if I KO an opponent.
