The ASB Tournament Arena

Surrounded by thousands of screaming Pokemon fans, the ASB Arena can be best described as a standard Pokemon battling arena. In the center of the arena lies a dirt-based floor outlined to show two separate sides (with a white Pokeball center). Surrounding the dirt is a moat filled with water. The moat is about fifteen feet wide and creates a perimeter around the dirt arena. The arena itself is eighty feet wide, one hundred feet long. All moves, weathers, and abilities are legal for the match, since it's an outdoor arena with a large water source and packed dirt. Pokemon must stay in the arena (or the dimensions of the arena in the case of Flying Pokemon, who cannot leave the arena and cannot fly higher than sixty feet). This prevents Pokemon from injuring the crowd watching the tournament. There are no outside interruptions by fans, Pokemon, or other elements not associated with the current battle

Welcome ladies and gentlemen! We're looking forward to one of the highlight matches of the round. The crowd is heating up, and the Pokémon are eager to start the match. Let's go!

Rawk - a good acquaintance of us since the ol' times of Wyverii's Castle - opens by charging smashlloyd20 with his wide wings. The bradipus promptly retaliate with a mighty fist which knocks the prehistoric bird back.

The Archeops tries his hand again and causes seismic waves to course through the ground, but once again, the Vigoroth pays it back with something more.

Angered about this charade, Rawk dives once again hitting with his wide open wings, but smashlloyd20, being the troll he is (talking about the Pokémon! Honest! Don't you believe me? :-P), retaliates this assault too, leaving his opponent discouraged and enfeebled

Ummm, I believe I'm allowwed to put in a simple complaint if there is a numerical error. Counter should be having the energy boosts applied (I see nothing saying otherwise). Hence, I believe the energy costs should be 10, 14 and 18 respectively.

Since his opponent looks to close himself in a total defense, Smashlloyd20 takes some time to slack off and heal his wounds. But, as it is typical with bradypuses (not bradypusses, read correctly), he is idle for a bit too long time, and Rawk exploits the free action by throwing a noxious shot at the Vigoroth. Angered by the nasty trick, Smashlloyd20 throws some rocks at the Archeops, who however defends himself from them flawlessly.

While the Vigoroth takes a moment to chill out, the prehistoric bird keeps the assault going by diving on him with his wings wide open. But as he once again attempts to wound him with yet another quake, smashlloyd20 is ready to take the blunt another time, paying it back with devastating force.

Smashlloyd20 starts to feel the effects of the poison, and attempts to finish the foe before it's too late, but Rawk tries everything in his power to stop him for as long as he can muster. So, as the first assault is neutralized by a barrier of transparent energy, the Archeops makes a swift movement to create four images of himself, one of which is immediately erased by the misguided charge of the Vigoroth. Even his last attack is stopped with that same traslucid barrier. Looks like Archeops is enduring for longer than prevented

Excited by the last, odd applause he got from smashlloyd, Sparky keeps launching Thunderbolts, even if they hurt like candies against Cloud's stormy skin. Meanwhile, the Cyclohm blasts his opponent with ease, pulsing beams from his mouth and resorting to his hidden force. Even when the Manectric comes to his senses, his bites prove to be ineffective against Cloud's might.
