Arena: The ASB Tournament Arena

Surrounded by thousands of screaming Pokemon fans, the ASB Arena can be best described as a standard Pokemon battling arena. In the center of the arena lies a dirt-based floor outlined to show two separate sides (with a white Pokeball center). Surrounding the dirt is a moat filled with water. The moat is about fifteen feet wide and creates a perimeter around the dirt arena. The arena itself is eighty feet wide, one hundred feet long. All moves, weathers, and abilities are legal for the match, since it's an outdoor arena with a large water source and packed dirt. Pokemon must stay in the arena (or the dimensions of the arena in the case of Flying Pokemon, who cannot leave the arena and cannot fly higher than sixty feet). This prevents Pokemon from injuring the crowd watching the tournament. There are no outside interruptions by fans, Pokemon, or other elements not associated with the current battle.

Type: Psychic
Psychic: Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic attacks regardless of weight difference. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

Abilities:
Trace: (Can be Activated) This Pokemon can copy an ability of the opponent and replace Trace for six (6) actions. Wonder Guard cannot be Traced.
Synchronize: (Innate) Pokemon with this ability mentally link their condition to an opposing Pokemon and pass on any status inflicted on them to their foe. Due to their body structure, Poison types cannot be poisoned and Fire types cannot be burned in this manner.
Telepathy (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon has a mental link with its allies in multiple allies, allowing it to avoid taking damage from attacks that affect the whole field like Earthquake and Surf.

Flying: Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks outside extremely odd circumstances even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Enhanced aerial mobility. Superior senses in open air arenas.

Abilities:
Insomnia: (Innate) This Pokemon is immune to sleep induced by other Pokemon. It's normal state of sleeplessness makes it take 1 less damage/action from Ghost Curse. If it is put to sleep by a Pokemon with Mold Breaker it will wake up the next action.
Super Luck: (Innate) This Pokemon’s natural skill doubles (x2) its critical hit levels above other Pokemon, making its normal moves inflict critical hits 12.5% of the time and its high critical hit moves inflict critical hits 1/3rd of the time.
Prankster (DW): (Innate) The Pokemon is always prepared for engaging in sneaky tactics and trickery, giving its non-damaging attacks an increase in priority level.

Technician: This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their attacks that normally have 6 or less Base Attack Power to have their Base Attack Power multiplied by 1.5. Abilities:
Magnet Pull: This Pokemon has the ability to generate a magnetic field that can attract or repulse Steel-type Pokemon. When attracted by Magnet Pull, Steel-types cannot move out of the immediate proximity without great difficulty, and can be pulled along by the Magnet Pull Pokemon. When repulsed, the Steel type is thrust violently away and contact attacks have immense difficulty striking the Magnet Pull Pokemon. OK! Lets do this guys, hopefully this will be a fun and fair fight! Go Destiny and Dynamite! Lets bury this battle before it starts!

Destiny, first off, I want you to use Swords Dance to get things moving. Then, use U-turn on Kirlia to get in some good damage. Finally, use Giga Impact on Kirlia.

If he uses Haze in any of his actions except the last, use Light Screen instead of Swords Dance.

Dynamite, you're job is relatively easy. You just have to take down that Murkrow ASAP. First off, use Thunderbolt to get in some good damage. Then use Discharge, before following up with another Thunderbolt.

If at any point either of this Pokemon direct a Taunt at either yourself or Destiny, make a Magic Coat to reflect the Taunt back at them!

The battle begins with Destiny spinning, what is he doing, he appearst to be increasing it's power, but that doesn't surprise Nightstrike, who begins to glow in a very bright light, flying across the field, that doesn't stop a ray of electricity to get him doing a lot of damage, but still not being able to paralize the target, and while Dynamite could have done a lot of damage to Nightstrike, but Mindstrike is there to help, and he makes the Dynamite forget how to use thundelbolt, just to make sure he wouldn't hurt it's partner even more, meanwhile, the murcrow strikes against Destiny fo a huge chunk of damage, being so strong that the powerful Bug goes all the way to the little river that surrounds the arena, I just hope he can get out of it

After sending Destiny far, ar away, Nightstrike begins getting comfortable in the ground to recover some health, he begins to recover a little but Dynamite is not gonna let him do so, he launches an intense wave of energy aimed at both foes, doing some good damage but only paralizing the murcrow, Mindstrike is not gonna be left behing, as she uses her mind to create blue flames aimed at Destiny, but Destiny is on the water, and because he is moving a lot to try to get out he is not burned by the flames, the kirlia goes back after seing this while meanwhile Destiny fights to get out of the water, and while he does so, he doesn't have time to do anything else this round


Destiny is tired from his fight vs the water, but he still tries to use a huge attack against Mindstrike, but he most have some water in his eyes because he doesn't hit the little Kirlia, as he falls with his own attack, while Mindstrike gives claps at his intent, or that's what she wants us to believe, no, she is actually making him repeat the attack again, something he'll probably do next, hi partner is not in better conditions, even if he can see that Nightstrike is glowing once again (probably to send Destiny to his watery grave) he can't do anything to stop it, he just doesn't remember what was he suppose to do, and he just stays in the ground, trying to remeber while his partner is hit by a glowing murcrow and trown at the nearest tree, preparing himself for a Big Impact next turn

Two things, Sky Attack has either 90 or 95% accuracy (can't remember which), so you should be rolling for hit on those. Also Discharge hits the entire field usually so shouldn't it also hit Scyther? Unless there's a good reason for it not hitting Scyther (distance from Magneton or something) it should. Good job otherwise! ^_^ I'm going to wait until the hits for Sky Attack are rolled before posting my actions because it'll affect my actions if either of them miss.
 
Yeah, Sky Attack has 90 acc, i'll change that, but well Scyter wasn't affected since he was in the water a little far far from the battle (from when he flinched), but if discharge is used again he will (with paralysis and everything), gonna correct those :3

Destiny, you'll have to keep on using Giga Impact on Nightstrike for two more turns, but on the last turn, use U-turn on Mindstrike.

Magneton, use Discharge, and then SonicBoom on Nightstrike. Finally, use SonicBoom again on Nightstrike.

Apparently Destiny is not letting that miss make him loose focus since he tries again, he moves full speed at Nightstike, with spiraling orange streaks surronding him while striking the murcrow, the hit is so strong it sends her right at the stadium wall making her take some extra critical damage, but Nightstrike is not done yet, she begins to glow once again while she gets closer and closer to the now tired Destiny, ready for an attack, but what's that!?, an energy wave has landed on both foes, Nighstrike and Destiny both take good damage from the SE attack, this makes the Scyther fall to the grown, Oh no! he has been paralysed by it's very own partner, how unconsidered from him, Mindstrike also felt the attack but was far enough to be fully affected, but when seeing how Dynamit attacked both pokes he uses some very interesting words to tell him how low is to attack two pokes while from behind, making him angry, this is probably not very good, but while Mindstike was distracting Dynamite, the black bird finished to charge all of his power, he attacks with another Sky Attack, and the unmobile Destiny is hit full on by it, it's just to much for him, something he would have survived if not for his partner's attack, but now, it's just strong enough to make him go down, poor Destiny

But Dynamite is not done yet, no he wants to get rid of Nighstrike
, and for that he launches a stong sound explosion directly at her, making Nightstrike take some damage, but being one vs two (at least for now) is not gonna be easy, Mindstrike hit's him with some of it's own energy, he takes the electric attack well enough, but this isn't over, Nightsrike is still planning to cry very loudly, but while she begins to do so, he founds himsel in a very bad situation, she cannot say anything, even worst, she cannot move, she is fully paralysed, apparently Dynamite still has some luck with him

So while he is healthy he uses another sound explosion against the murcrow, she doesn't seem to like it really, but at least she is not done yet, so Nightstike begins to loudly cry at the magnet, while the damag is not great, the noise damaged some circuits inside Dynamite making it's Special Attack less theathening than usual, this time at least Mindstrike
is not letting Dynamite go that easily, while retaining it's distance he manages to do some damage using it's mind powers, and thanks that the loudly cry from before made some of Dynamite's screws loose his confusion makes some extra damage at him, this is not looking very bright to Dynamite

Ok, go Piplup!

Dynamite, you are going to use Discharge on Nightstrike for the KO. Then you'll use Metal Sound on Mindstrike unless you're taunted, in which case you'll use Thunderbolt. Finally, finish up with a Supersonic unless you're taunted, in which case use Thunderbolt again.

Prinplup, you're just gonna smash Mindstrike's ass. Use Hydro Pump, followed up by Scald, and then finish him off with another Hydro Pump.
 
Gerard, don't forget that Magneton is still Taunted

"Alright guys, let's keep on going! Nightstrike, you're going to go down but before you do I want you to Sucker Punch that Piplup! If you're somehow still alive then just keep doing it! Mindstrike, you'll be on your own for a bit but stay strong! Begin by hitting that Piplup with a Thunderbolt, then Disable its Hydro Pump! Finish off by hitting it with another Thunderbolt! We need that thing as close to dead as possible before Boulderstrike comes in!

elDino releases Domination the Piplup, he seems confident about this, but as soon as he prepares to attack, but suddenly fierce claw burrows on it's flesh, doing some nice damage before going down to another discharge from Dynamite, still, dynamite should stop releasing all of his enegy since his own partner was hit SE by it (just like his last partner, and we all know how that ended), and oh, Domination and Mindstrike were also hit by a paralysing string or energy, this doesn't seem good for both of them, but What!? Mindstrike uses his mental powers to pass the paralysis to Dynamite, now all three of them are paralysed, but neither of them care about it, with Minstrike launching a powerful thundebolt to the little piplup, while this responding with a great torrent of water, both do some damage and neither is really affected by their state, it appears than this is gonna be a fun round

Mindstrike is all alone against two strong pokes, but she is not woriied that much after seing Dynamite sitting in the floor unable to move, this gives him time to disable the powerful Hydro Pump from Domination, he moves his hands softly and the pliplup has forgot how to shot a lot of water, but he still remembers how to do a little hot water, while launching a wave of boiling water to Mindstrike, that's gotta hurt, but he doesn't seem to hurt from that, at least not for now

Dynamite is not gonna be moving for now, apparently he has been fully paralysed again, that will teach him something about using those electric waves, meanwhile Domination can't remember how to use his best attack, no, he just tries to shot some water out of his little mouth but nothing comes out, Minstrike takes adventage of this free turn to target him with a bolt of energy once again, Domination has to be angry since he has been attacked by everyone this round, even his own partner, at least this round is over now, but what would happen to him next?

Boulderstrike has join the party, a little late, but he seems ready to destroy everything on sight, beginning with that dangerous Domination, while he is can't do a lot to escape thanks to the paralysis, he takes a bif bite directly in his little wing, he seems really shocked about that, but he doesn't even have time to react when another beam of electricity (just like the ones he has been hit with since he came to the field) passes next to him, directly against Minstrike, she seems ok, but she's not happy about all the electricity passing through it's body, she tries to use it, but she is paralysed!, all the energy was too much for her, and she just falls unable to do much, but Domination is not in a bette position, still shocked by both the bite and the thunderbolt, he cannot move

Boulderstrike doesn't like his partner to be attacked, and being as protective as he is, he uses a powerful hit on top of Dynamite, burrowing him on the soft grown of the arena, he can still move a little bit, but he is not gonna float around for a while, still, he fires another thunderbolt directly against Mindstrike, not being able to stop it, Mindstrike falls, he has taken too much, Boulderstrike is furious, he is about to destroy Dynamite, and..., Oh! a big splash of boiling water him directly while his guard was down, going as far as burning him, Boulderstike seems really pissed off, he is definetly planning his revenge

Boulderstrike is not done with Dynamite and Domination, launching a powerful earthquake at the two of them, Domination doesn't like that the floor is shaking, he can't stand up while the rocks hit him hardly, he can't stand at all, Domination falls, devastated from the attack, meanwhile Dynamite is burrowed in the grown, feeling the pain from the cracks on the ground, this is really hurting him, but he has the power to attack back, using a shiny ball of light, Boulderstrike is strike by the silver esphere, it's still not the end, but it really seems like it soon will be

Just going to point out that the calc for EQ is kinda mucked up, it should be (12 + 3 + 1.5)*2.25 x 3/4, which rounds to 28 damage. Also Smack Down should be (5 + 3 + 1.5) x 2/3, which is 6. Shouldn't make a big difference but honesty is the best policy after all.
 
True, actually is (11 + 3 + 1.5)*2.25 x 3/4 and (4 + 3 + 1.5) x 2/3 (thanks to sturdy) but you're right (again :3) gonna correct that

This Battle is in it's last two pokemon, and while they see each other with rivalty you can sense in the air that this battle is not over, Dynamite remains trapped and cannot scape Boulderstrike's attack, his power shakes the earth making Dynamite take a lot of damage from the lifting plates, but the magneton is not done yet, and while really hindered he shots another powerful orb of mechanic energy to the larvitar, that does a lot of damage

But Dynamite is not KOed yet, they are both really tired and while weak because of his burn he is not gonna throw the towel just yet, No, he shakes the earth again whit what's left of his energy, and that's just what takes to take down the sturdy Dynamite, he was the most dangerous poke from the begin and now he is down, Boulderstrike dances of joy knowing he just granted Flamestrike the Victory

I was supposed to get a Gallade but first your Discharge made Nightstrike KO Scyther before Mindstrike could, then the parahax on Mindstrike stopped him from getting the KO on Piplup :( Oh well, twas a good game nonetheless, thanks for reffing Gerard and enjoy your Magnezone elDino!
