Round One!

Welcome to this grassy plain, where four Pokemon are fighting for victory and pride. /flavor

Gambit starts this match off with a powerful thunderbolt summoned from the sky. The wicked bolt hurls through the atmosphere and slams itself into Macabre with ridiculously power, dealing a sizable chunk of damage. Macabre counters the attack by taunting his other opponent, Thunder the Snorlax, into a blind rage. This is completely irrelevant to Hephaestus, who rams into Gambit with a powerful headbutt that seems to deal some extra damage due to typing. What sort of headbutt is that? Thunder attempts to yawn loudly at everything, but the taunt prevents him from doing anything of that sort.

Next, Gambit stomps his way up to Macabre and jabs the floating lamp with a poison. Luckily, it doesn't seem that the poison affects the lamp at all, but the attack still deals a good amount of damage. Macabre counters this by shooting a confusing ray of light at the retreating Gambit, who becomes confused! Hephaestus just goes off to one side and starts levitating due to electromagnetism; this seems pretty interesting... Thunder continues the assault on Macabre, Crunching on the poor lamp with dark energy. However, it seems that the lamp has fought back as Thunder retreats with a 2nd Degree Burn!!!!!

Now confused, Gambit attempts to find Metang and attack it, but he hits himself in confusion for a little damage. Proud that this tactic is working, Macabre is quick to shoot the confuse ray at Thunder as well. Evil lamp! Metang uses the strange headbutt on Gambit again, dealing significant damage, and Thunder retaliates by shooting a large fireball towards Hephaestus, who takes significant damage.

End.

Round Two: Revenge of the Spammers

Gambit starts the round off by firing another Thunder and Lampent. Unfortunately, he doesn't get it quite right and ends up hitting himself in confusion! Macabre is less clumsy, managing to even out the heath between it and Thunder, albeit at the cost of a lot of energy. Hephaestus continues the headbutting spree, dealing significant damage to Gambit. Thunder just Crunches the lamp again, dealing some more damage.

Next round, Gambit snaps out of confusion and manages to get the thunderbolt to hit Macabre for quite a bit of damage. Lampent fires off a hex at Gambit while Hephaestus headbutts him again, dealing a large amount of damage when combined. Thunder Crunches again. Why can't your actions be more interesting?

Gambit fires off another Thunder. Macabre does something interesting, summoning an extremely powerful heat wave to assault the enemies, dealing good damage. Hephaestus finishes off the exhausted Nidoking with a fourth Zen Headbutt in a row. Angry at his teammate dying, Thunder attacks with another Crunch at Macabre, putting him at low health.

End.

Round Three

Macabre starts the round off by evening out the life forces of Thunder and himself, dealing pretty heavy damage to Thunder as well as healing some. Hephaestus rams into the poor Snorlax with another Iron Head, dealing quite a bit of damage. It seems that Thunder is a bit surprised, as he flinches and cannot move! Next, Macabre shoots another Confuse Ray towards Thunder, causing him to become lightly confused. Hephaestus rams into Snorlax again with a Zen Headbutt, dealing more damage. Thunder doesn't flinch this time, summoning a powerful earthquake to ripple through the field and deal quite a bit of damage to both Pokemon. It seems that Macabre won't be able to withstand one more attack... luckily, the match never gets that far. Macabre chills out while Hephaestus rams into Thunder with another Iron Head, knocking him out with aid from the burn.
