Duskull [Hazel] (Female)
Nature: Quiet (Adds One (1) Rank to Special Attack; Divides Base Speed by 1.15 and gives a flat 10 point decrease in evasion, effectively adding 10 accuracy (e.g. 85 becomes 95) on an opponent’s attacks.

Info on Hazel: Glacier found Hazel when he passed by a graveyard on his way to his campground from his successful battle at the Arena. he heard moans and wails, and when he entered the cemetery suddenly A Duskull popped out of a tombstone, glad to have some company. Hazel communicated with Glacier using her eerie abilities, and told him about how she was tethered to her grave for all eternity unless a trainer caught her. she begged to roam the world and find excitement, so Glacier happily complied, glad to have a new friend on board.

Hazel is always cheery (though in a demented creepy kind of way), and although new she has made friends with all of Glacier's team. she is the scout of the group, always hidden but watching, so that she can alert Glacier when trouble is around the corner. Hazel also like waking everyone up by wailing terribly.

Type:

K, Texas sends out his Pokemon of choice (I'll know the ability so you don't have to announce it) but no actions yet. Glacier Knight sends out Duskull and its actions (ability is obviously Levitate), then Texas posts actions!

Welcome to ASB Texas! haha i get to be your first! (sounds wrong, just go with it) Let's go Hazel! First set up a Trick Room, then with your new-found speed use Confuse Ray and then Pursuit!

Trick Room~Confuse Ray~Pursuit

haha it's both pokemons first match, so let's see how this plays out :)

Alright Leia, let's start your first match by using Hypnosis to put Hazel to sleep. Then smite her with a Dragon Pulse, and then an Ice Beam.

If Hypnosis misses round 1, replace next action with Toxic.

Hypnosis, Dragon Pulse/Toxic, Ice Beam

Round 1: FIGHT!

Final Destination. Home to 1v1s. Let's see how this one plays out!

Leia begins the match by trying to stare at Hazel's eyes... but it seems the redness of her eyes are just too much for Leia! Her concentration loosens and the Hypnosis goes faulty! Glad to not be asleep, Hazel makes the atmosphere around the arena a shady Trick Room. Speeds are now reversed!

Now faster, Hazel creeps a little closer to Leia and delivers a spiraling Confuse Ray that makes its ray toward Leia. This causes her to be confused for... 4 actions! The maximum! Thankfully, Leia doesn't manage to attack herself and spits out some toxic in the air that creeps toward Hazel and poisons her!

The two seem to finally want to get some damage rolling, however, little it is. Hazel creeps in and smacks Leia's behind with a... not-so-hard Pursuit. Uh-oh! Leia tries to swing behind herself, but she accidentally falls onto her side in confusion! Well, at least the Toxic will be help with the damage!

---------------------------------------------------------

Calculations

Leia
A1: Hypnosis (MISS) > [7 Energy]
A2: Toxic > [7 Energy]
A3: Hit self > 4 - (1.5) = 2.5 ~ [3 Damage/3 Energy]

Hazel
A1: Trick Room > [10 Energy]
A2: Confuse Ray > [5 Energy]
1 psn dmg
A3: Pursuit > 4 + (1.5) = 5.5 ~ [6 Damage/4 Energy]
1 psn dmg

Texas's actions!

I seem to recall something about dual status. If Sleep+Poison is possible, then Hypnosis, Dragon Pulse, Ice Beam. If Leia hits herself turn 1, replace subsequnt action with Hypnosis.
Hypnosis, Dragon Pulse/Hypnosis, Ice Beam

if not

Dragon Pulse, ice Beam, Dragon Pulse

Going to sleep in battle? defiantly something we should and will try to avoid Hazel. Shadow Sneak out of hypnosis' way(or whatever comes you way first turn), then use your Psychic attack to rack up some damage. finish the round by freezing that fish with your Ice beam!

evasive Shadow Sneak~Psychic~Ice Beam

SPECIAL NOTE: PRIORITY MOVES CAN NO LONGER BE USED FOR EVASION. SO I'M REDIRECTING SHADOW SNEAK TO LEIA.

Round 2: FIGHT!

This round begins with Hazel looking pretty sneaky. What's she up to? Look! Her shadow is creeping toward Leia and... it seems to have startled her! Poor Leia though, she never knew what hit her when she just flops on the floor in confusion!

Hazel then uses her Psychic powers to inflict some painful mind damage within Leia. This really must have jacked Leia's brain as she once again hits herself in confusion! However, she is finally able to get rid of the scrambling confusion - it's gone!

Feeling really sad for Leia, Hazel gives her a gentle Ice Beam that sprays across her body. Good thing she's not a complete frozen fish! Leia flops back into position and fires her own angry Ice Beam at Hazel for some decent damage. Freezing? Well, there's icy particles layered across Hazel's body, but I wouldn't call that freezing!

---------------------------------------------------------

Calculations

Leia
A1: Hit self > 4 - (1.5) = 2.5 ~ [3 Damage/3 Energy]
A2: Hit self > 4 - (1.5) = 2.5 ~ [3 Damage/3 Energy]
A3: Ice Beam > 10 - 3 = [7 Damage/7 Energy]

Hazel
A1: Shadow Sneak > 4 + 3 + (1.5) = 8.5 ~ [9 Damage/2 Energy]
2 psn dmg
A2: Psychic > 9 + (1.5) = 10.5 ~ [11 Damage/7 Energy]
2 psn dmg
A3: Ice Beam > 10 + (1.5) x .67 = 7.7 ~ [8 Damage/7 Energy]
2 psn dmg

anyway, keep up the good work Hazel! Fire another Confuse Ray and let's hope the luck is still with us! then send an Ominous Wind Leia's way and end the round with a Psychic attack!

Alright, leia that confusion wasn't kind to us so let's start out with an evasive Splash. Now let's play our trump card, Mirror Coat!

Round 3: FIGHT!

Disappointed with Confuse Ray's disappearance, Hazel creates another Confuse Ray and swings it at Leia, who attempts to "Splashdodge" it. Sadly, Confuse Ray is like a homing missile (unless other evasive measures were taken) and it strikes! This one will be lasting for 2 actions - this whole round!

Hazel then calls upon the ghostly winds of the arena and ominously blows them through Leia for some decent damage! Noticing the wind, Leia, who's able to control the confusion this action, reflects the damage with her Mirror Coat attack, which strikes Hazel right back! That must've been a painful blow!

Not fearing the Mirror Coat, Hazel keeps her special attacks going and strikes Leia's mind with a Psychic! Leia struggles in taking the blow - and the confusion - but with her strength, she withstands it ALL and Mirror Coats this one right back at Hazel too! Ouch!

---------------------------------------------------------

Calculations

Leia
A1: Splash > [3 Energy]
A2: Mirror Coat > [22 Damage/13 Energy]
A3: Mirror Coat > [22 Damage/17 Energy]
EDIT: Mirror Coat was supposed to be doing 17 DMG :(

Round 4: FIGHT!

Entering what appears to be the final round, Hazel takes her time to click and mentally Disable Leia's ability to Mirror Coat! Leia doesn't mind yet however as she blasts a Dragon Pulse toward Hazel's face! The purple remains incinerating Hazel's face can only make her mad enough to use Psychic! She musters about all the power in herself... though at the end, Leia is still breathing. She attempts to Mirror Coat the attack, but she kinda forgot how to use it. At the end, the Toxic living inside Hazel has become so uncontrollable that she just flops over and faints...

---------------------------------------------------------
