Welcome to this battle between Texas Cloverleaf & Son_of_Shadoo: Two veteran Scramblers duke it out in a 4v4 Singles match, with another Veteran Scrambler reffing! Here's the rules for the battle.

Description:

In this cold, lifeless city of angels, the evolved half-elves, we do battle. There are two floors in the main plaza, with the upper floor being translucent, meaning wherever you are, Sunny Day can affect you, but on the ground floor, Rain, Sand and Hail have no effect. To transport yourself between floors without wings, there is a lift. Using it takes an action, as does flying between floors. Attacks cannot pass through floors without some sort of special capability, such as Shadow Punch. Angels may fly out at the end of each round. Their effects follow:
Archangel (5%) - attacks everyone on the top floor with a holy sword, for a flat 15 damage.
Angel Archer (15%) - shoots from afar at either Pokémon, chosen at random, for a flat 8 damage.
Vanguardsman (10%) attacks a random target on the bottom floor for a flat 7 damage with a holy sword.
Soprano (5%) - cures all status effects and heals 20 HP of a random target.

ROUND ONE: The Plaza Lights Up...

Well, here we are guys, up in the Holy City of Welgaia, the location for today's CAP ASB Battle between two veteran Scramblers, who will do battle in this ancient place! The battle starts on the bottom floor as I go through the rules & drop the flag to start the 4v4 Singles battle between Son_of_Shadoo & Texas Cloverleaf! Texas releases first & chooses Zoan the Charmander! Son_of_Shadoo replies with Zero the Eelektrik! How will this battle unfold? Well, let's see!

To begin with, Zoan gets the first action with a Dragon Dance! Zoan does an odd dance which envelops him in a draconic energy, raising his Attack & Speed by 1 Stage! Zero replies to this with Toxic! Zero shoots some Toxic Sludge from his mouth, which end up making contact with Zoan, Fatally Poisoning him! That concludes Action One.

Time for Action Two & Zoan decides to continue to hone his Dancing Skills with another Dragon Dance! Zoan breaks into another odd dance which further envelops him in draconic energy, raising his Attack & Speed by another Stage! Zero decides to go on the offensive with Acrobatics! Zero floats into the air, then starts to make several acrobatic maneuvers, before crashing into Zoan for some damage!

Final Action of the round, & Zoan also decides to go on the offensive with a Flare Blitz! Zoan envelops himself in fiery energy before crashing into Zero, dealing damage to both! Zero responds to this with a Thunderbolt! Zero screeches before launching a bolt of lightning into the air, which then comes crashing down into Zoan! Zoan stumbles back, but suddenly, electrical energy starts to pulsate through his system, paralysing him! (BSHAX...)

That concludes Round 1, the two are on the bottom floor, 3 metres apart from each other. Luckily for the two, No holy angel comes along this round. Next round maybe...What will happen next round? Wait until these two issue actions...

Well, we'll probably kill ourselves but we can knock off another 54 damage from Zero.

If I'm thinking correctly I should have 40ish health after two Flare Blitz's ignoring Zero so Zoan should survive to make the third. Let's get it on!
However, If Protect is used at any point, switch that action to Dragon Dance (priority should allow the substitution).

ROUND TWO: Where, Well, Not Much Really Happens...

Well, time for Round Two of this CAP ASB Match, & it's a reasonable start for either side, with SoS with a slight edge, thanks to experience. Other than that, here's to another round of ASB Battling at the Ancient City of Welgaia, starting next paragraph!

And Zero is first this time around, & he capitalises by using Acid Spray! Zero sprays some very toxic, metal-eating substance at Zoan, hitting him! Zoan stumbles back, but the acid does its job, lowering his Special Defence 2 Stages! Zero seemingly ignores this & replies to the attack with a Flare Blitz! Zoan envelops himself in a fiery energy, before charging at Zero! Both combatants take damage from the attack, as they both stumble back, as Action One ends.

Time for Action Two, & Zero launches a Thunderbolt! Zero shoots lightning into the air, which then comes crashing down on Zoan! Zoan takes some damage & he tries to reply with Flare Blitz, only for electricity to pulsate throughout his body, fully paralysing Zoan for the round. At least it saved him from the movespam penalty...

Final Action of the round, & Zero decides to go on the defensive with Protect! Zero closes his eyes, before summoning a barrier which protects him from all attacks! Zoan, on the other hand, is not fooled by this & simply uses Dragon Dance! Zoan does an odd dance, before being filled with Draconic energy, raising his Attack & Speed by 1 Stage, as the round comes to an end.

The two are 3 metres apart from each other, & once again, no angels come to rain on the battles parade. What will happen next round, with until these two issue actions...

ROUND FIVE: Playing the Waiting Game...

Well, the round begins with Sharky using Sandstorm, & he uses it to create a Sandstorm which will buffet everyone not immune to it. Zero responds with a Gastro Acid, which, despite the Sand Veil, hits its mark & nullifies Sharky's abilities for a few actions. Disappointed by this, Sharky uses Hone Claws, striking his claws against the ground to sharpen them, raising his attack & accuracy by 1 Stage. Zero responds with a Coil, coiling up & virtually doing the same thing as Hone Claws, but a boost in Defence as well. Final action, & Sharky uses Dragon Claw, striking Zero with a Claw for a number, & Zero responds with Acrobatics, hitting him with a number of Acrobatic maneuvers. No Angels come, & both Pokemon are on the second floor.

Haven't been inspired in terms of flavour lately, sorry...

Ok, good job Zero. One down, three to go, and he's not looking healthy. So, Cogsworth the Klang, you're next. Start on the ground floor, and Shift Gears twice, to boost your power, then use Gear Grind, if Sharky has come down to you. If not, use Screech - the sound waves should be able to travel through the platform, and either way, he'll be able to hear you, with there being space to work your way around the platforms anyway.
