Flamestrike VS Glacier Knight
Arena: No Man's Land  The only remnants of a war taking place on this lonely plane are craters from cannons and two hastily made trenches opposite of one another. This place is perfect for an intense brawl of epic proportions because unlike domes, gyms, or protected forests this place is dying to be torn apart again. There are no trees or grass, just mounds of dirt and dust, with some puddles here and there from past storms. The air is stale, and you can feel the tension that was strained here years ago. Brandon walked into the No Man's Land, wondering what could have happened to cause such a wasteland. Still, he had been invited here to fight, and he wasn't about to turn down a chance to train his Pokemon. Seeing that Glacier had already released two Pokemon, a Snover and a Spheal, Brandon grabbed two of his own Pokeballs from his belt. "Let's go Aquastrike and Scorchstrike!" The Oshawott and Charmander hit the field, Aquastrike raring to go while Scorchstrike was a bit nervous about his first match. Suddenly, Aquastrike began to glow! The glow temporarily blinded both Brandon and Glacier, and when they could see again Aquastrike had evolved into a Dewott! "Alright Aquastrike!" Brandon cheered. "That extra power will come in handy!"
Aquastrike the Dewott
"Alright Aquastrike, start by using Taunt on Spheal, then hit Snover hard with an Air Slash! Finish off by using Taunt on Snover! If Snover goes for a Leech Seed, Encore it the following action and push the remaining actions down! Scorchstrike, I know this is your first battle, but don't be nervous, you'll do fine! Start with a 20 HP Substitute to mess with them a bit, then hammer Snover with a Focus Punch! Finish off by smashing Snover with a Flare Blitz! If your Substitute is broken on the first action, then use Flare Blitz action 2 instead and Rock Slide them both on action 3!" Summary: Aquastrike: Taunt (Spheal) -> Air Slash (Snover) -> Taunt (Snover) If Snover uses Leech Seed use Encore (Snover, Leech Seed) the following action and push remaining actions down Scorchstrike: Substitute (20 HP) -> Focus Punch (Snover) -> Flare Blitz (Snover) If Substitute is broken by the end of action 1 replace Focus Punch with Flare Blitz (Snover) and Flare Blitz with Rock Slide |

Ok, well we have to use our heads for this one. our opponent already has us in a tight spot. but we can still prevail! Twiggy, it's time to see if our opponents are lucky. show Scorchstrike your swagger, Then assault Aquastrike with a Seedbomb and Razor Leaf(this will hit scorch too). Now Norita, you need to go offensive too. Help Twiggy and put the hurt on Aquastrike with Body Slam, Signal Beam, and your Hidden Power! Right now things don't seem to great, but you never know! Twiggy Swagger on scorch~Seed Bomb Aqua~Razor Leaf both Norita Body Slam~Signal Beam~Hidden Power all on aquastrike |

Here in a really desolated place where no one whould dare to live or even put a foot on, our two brave trainers look like they coulnd't care less about the conditions of the battlefield, a cold air blows trough the arena, and the smell of death invades the air Both trainer relase their pokemon, a little ball pokemon appears, next to a little tree, looking so cute, with a little dance when they are released, they seem happy to be in such an arid place, maybe is becau..., What a!? it's starting to snow, in such a desertic place? well aparently that little frozen bush is more powerful than we could predict, but he unleashes a big hailstorm upon the field, meanwhile Flamestrike releases his, a little dragon with a hit tail appears next to a little... whatever that shyning thin... another surprise, Aquastrike is starting to glow in a very brigt light evolving into a little ninja, this could bring some interesting things to the table Scorchstrike starts creating a little snow fort, with the shape of a sleeping charmander around him, with some of the snow around him, blocking the attempts of intimidation of Twiggy, even if Norita can't do the same with the taunting of Aquastrike, telling him how fat Norita is he manage to hurt her feeling and give her trouble to listen to it's trainer, she launchs herself against Aqua, doing some damage, but failing in getting the paralysis Scorch doesn't seem to mind the freezing cold, he is just really calm in the middle of the snow, focusing his energies while Aquastrike uses the cold winds around them to create a sharp sphere, and moving itseld fast enough to get in front of Twiggy without notice, cutting trough the little trees frozen branches like a hot knife, Twiggy is really surprised about the attack, as he goes back, and fall to it's back, he looks like a turtle, unable to stand still, meanwhile Norita can't do anything to stop Aqua's strike (pun intended), only being able to shot some signals that hardly do damage, maybe she should focus in her good attacks, and completely forgeting about Scorch and his mighty fist which jumps out of it's hidding to hit the fallen Twiggy, just to get back to it's refuge seconds later Scorchstrike lives trough it's name by surrounding himself in flames and charging directly into Twiggy once again, that should be the opposite of what a frozen tree likes, seeing how much damage it did, and just if it wasn't enough with all the damage taken, Aqua strikes again and starts mocking the fallen plant, making him really angry, Norita is still mad at Aqua because of what he said earlie about her waist, but sadly her powerful pink balls directly at him, sadly he is not fighting (really GF?), and the psyquic (yeah psyQUIC :P) attack fails to do a lot of damage, at least Twiggy still stands, but for how much longer :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: . ....Aquastrike..&..Scorchstrike ...HP: 50.....HP: 70.... Sorry Twiggy, we didn't get to show them your true potential. now worries though pal! there will be many more battles in the future. You most likely won't be around for your turn to attack on a1 since they are faster, so just Seed Bomb Aquastrike thrice. Norita, i should have put you on scorch duty first round, and now i learned my mistake. summon a mighty Earthquake, spit out a Water Gun, and make another Earthquake. Aim the water gun at scorchstrike.

Brandon felt guilty that he had gotten both the flinch and the burn, but that was Pokemon for you. He wasn't about to let up, at any rate; a win is a win. "Alright, good job guys, now let's keep it up! Scorchstrike, crush Spheal with another massive Focus Punch while you still have that substitute, then take the chance to chill! Finish off the round with a Rock Slide that'll get full power now that Spheal is alone! Aquastrike, start with a Water Gun to finish off that Snover, then chill as well! Then get some Revenge on Spheal for that Earthquake!"

Brandon decided that he needed a quick change of pace to bring down that Spheal. "Come back Scorchstrike, great job!" he said, calling his Charmander back to its Pokeball. "Alright now, let's go Vinestrike!" The Ivysaur joined Aquastrike on the field, ready to help take down their opponents. "OK, Aquastrike, first thing I need you to do is Taunt Dusclops! Next, Aqua Jet Spheal to help finish it off! Finally, hit Dusclops with a Torrent-boosted Hydro Pump! If Spheal tries to Encore you action 1, Taunt him instead, then Taunt Dusclops, then Hydro Pump Dusclops! Vinestrike, hit Spheal with a Giga Drain to start, then follow up with a Leaf Storm! Finally, Toxic that Dusclops! If Aquastrike is forced to Taunt Spheal action 1, go for a Sleep Powder on Dusclops action 1 then push your actions back!"

Hater's gonna hate. But no worries! Hazel you love your tricky moves, but for this match its time to show your power! That dewott has pestered us for too long. Send that Taunting punk a taste of your Thunder Punch! Do the punishing attack three times, but if aquastrike is gone a3 then switch up the element and aim an Ice Punch at vinestrike.
Norita, they are aiming at you, but that just means they see you as the threat, which you are. by my calculations you won't be attacking a2, so let's leave that ivysaur with a little something to remember you by. send the plant your Sub-Zero Beam (Aurora Beam + Ice Beam). This will cripple the grass pokemon, and maybe even freeze it too. after that chill, and if for some lucky reason you're still able to fight, give Vinestrike an encore as she toxics hazel. You did great for your first match! I'm proud of you girl. Okay hazel, heres what were gonna do. Keep the pressure High! I want you to start the round with a Psychic! Aim it at Ivysaur, and try to throw it into charmander!
Next round, Fire Punch the ivysuar in the face! JUST A HEADSHOT! Final round, I want you to setle yourself near one of the craters and activate Psychic at ivysuar again, but instead of throwing him into charmander, Throw him into the crater! If he tries to use Sleep Powder use an Ominous Wind to blow it away. |

Brandon looked at the Dusclops. Though it was technically a middle stage evolution, it still had the strength of a fully evolved Pokemon. It would be tough to break, especially with two weakened Pokemon left. Still, he wasn't about to give up because of that. "Alright, Scorchstrike! Start with a Dig so Vinestrike isn't thrown into you! Next, Crunch Dusclops hard! Finish off by hitting it with a Fire Fang! Hopefully we'll get a burn or a flinch! Vinestrike, start with a Leech Seed! Next, Giga Drain her to take back some health! Finish off with a Synthesis! You won't get much health back, but we'll need all the health we can get!"

Leech Seed isn't in Dusclops's status list and I'm pretty sure she should be at -1 Defense, not -1 Attack. More importantly, Charmander used Fire Fang action 3, not Fire Punch. I don't think that'll change anything major, but if it does I reserve the right to change my actions :P

Okay Hazel, Were gonna take this as best we can. I think we can do this though. Hopefully we wont run out of energy. Psychic one final time on ivysuar to finish him off. then I want you to pain split on charmander. Then chill. If we survive Im sure we can win this.

Leech Seed should have worn off when Vinestrike fainted, it doesn't transfer to a mon in a different battle slot. Didn't matter though. GG Glacier, looks like it was a good thing I evolved Aquastrike otherwise I probably would have lost to Dusclops lol.
