Gallade [Demi Gravidon] (Male)
Nature: Jolly (+15% Sped, +10% Accuracy, -1 Rank Special Attack)

Psychic: Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic attacks regardless of weight difference. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

Fighting: Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions of throwing/grappling moves. Superior reaction time in close quarters.

HP: 100
Atk: Rank 5
Def: Rank 3
SpA: Rank 2 (-)
SpD: Rank 4
Spe: 92 (+)

EC: 9/9
MC: 0

Steadfast: (Innate) If this Pokemon is flinched, it becomes aware of the speed difference and increases speed by one (1) stage to make up the difference. This speed boost is maintained at the end of each round.

Justified (DW-UNLOCKED): (Innate) This Pokemon's body reacts to dark energy, invigorating its passions. When hit by a Dark-type move, the Pokemon's attack will increase one (1) stage. A boost gained this way by an opponent's attack will be maintained at the end of each round. Self-targeted attacks do not maintain boosts.

Yeesh, that's a huge movepool.

Let's see here...

Will-o-Wisp~Fiery Dance~Quiver Dance
If Thunder Wave is used, Protect against it and move actions down, but don't use it twice in a row.

Round 1: Clever Assult

Seems like a fairly even match up here today, but we'll see what happens once the pokemon get going. Galade starts off with a Protect shield, attempting to scout out what Volcarona is planning on doing, what he protects against is a Will-o-Wisp. But he doesn't manage to protect against his next attack, which seems to be Fiery Dance, I guess Volcarona's parents never taught it not to play with fire, and Gallade really wishes they had, that looks like quite a painful experience with all that fire. Gallade keeps a cool face though, and Taunts Volcarno's flames were pretty cold, which enrages Volcarno, which causes it to fail set up a Protective field, causing it to be the victim of a Thunder wave

How did Firey Dance do 18? It should have done 8+3+2.5=13.5~14 damage.

Anyhow, Volcarona: Confuse Ray~Light Screen~Psycho Cut

IF Volcarona ever uses Bug Buzz, THEN Disable it the next action and push other actions back.

I think I took Gallade's SpA stat instead of defence, here I'll do my work here and you can correct whatever is wrong

8+3+(6-4)*1.5+1=22.5 so actually, yeah. Is it because its just suppose to be 1.5 plus however many ranks above 5 the stat is?

EDIT figured it out, sorry its 14 damage like kaxtar said.

8 + 3 + (6-5) + (5-4)*1.5 = 13.5

Round 2: Next Go Around

Gallade, thanks to that Thunder Wave, Gallade gets to go first, and starts off with Confuse Ray, but it only gets a light confusion so Volcarno will only be confused for two actions. That plus his Thunder wave will make it difficult to get any attacks in. But wait, whats this, an attempt at Bug Buzz, but the Paralyzation takes his toll on Volcarno and he's unable to attack. Continuing with his plans, Gallade sets up a Light Screen to defend from Volcarno's Special attacks, speaking of which Volcarno comes at Gallade with a Fiery Dance, but ends up hitting itself in confusion, ending it. No luck attacking at all. Gallade finishes the round up with a Psycho Cut, for serious damage, and Volcarno finally gets to attack with a Psychic attack

Round 2: Now Things Get Serious

Gallade, who dislikes that dance of Fire that Volcarno loves so much, Disables it, a when Volcarno tries to use it, he falls to the ground in confusion, he can't seem to remember it. Gallade then Cuts him with a Psycho blade of pain. That looks like it really really hurts. Although Volcarno returns fire with a Bug Buzz, only to be cut again by Gallades blade. still forgetting Fiery Dance

Round 3: The Trapped Butterfly Fights Back

This battle looks all but over folks, Kaxtar and his Gallade have it. Volcarno sets up a protective shield to defend against Gallade's Taunt. Gallade then cuts him with his Psycho cut again, It looks like Volcarno tried to set up a substitution, but didn't have enough hp left to do so! Oh no! Gallade finishes him off with a backwards cut from its other arm. Knocking Volcarno out. Good Game guys.
