Rediamond vs Millzgudino

~~~
Format: 1 v 1 Singles
DQ Time: 2 Days
Restrictions: No Recovery, Maximum 2 chills per Pokémon
Switch: N/A
Items: Off
Abilities: All Active
Arena: Large corn field. An expanse of corn, this brown field is often targetted by aliens and pranksters. There are no crop circles today, and the crops slow all those land based, giving all non-flying/levitating Pokémon a -2 Stat Drop to speed. Also, the corn gives all non-flying/levitating Pokémon a -1 Stat Drop to accuracy. The days have been dry, and there is no convinent source of water for Surf and other attacks in need of a water source, but plenty of plant life for attacks like Seed Bomb, and other attacks requiring a form of vegitation. The ground is fertile soil which makes digging easy, but shaking the earth might find the loose soil harder to get up to maximum strength.
Rediamond, the veteran, decides to battle with a Caterpie, named -Charmander-'s Revenge
Caterpie [-Charmander-'s Revenge] (M)
Nature: Modest (+1 SpA; -1 Atk)
Type: Bug
Bug: Bug STAB; More mobility in dense brush or forest conditions. Gain an extra guaranteed attack on multi-hit moves.
Abilities:
Shield Dust: (Innate) This Pokemon has dust covering the outside of its body that prevents opponents secondary effects from taking place (eg burn from Flamethrower). It does not block direct status moves (such as Thunder Wave.)
Run Away (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon is quick on its feet and can evade any traps in an arena. Run Away does not allow the Pokemon to escape from trapping moves or abilities, however it can escape other situational trapping strategies in battle.
SpA: Rank 2(+)
SpD: Rank 1
Spe: 50
EC: 0/5
Millzgudino leads her first battle with a Growlithe, named Haden
Growlithe (Haden) Male
Nature: Adamant
Type: Fire
Fire: Fire STAB; immune to burn, 50% reduction in freeze chance, emit a low glow in dark places, takes additional damage if active open flames are exposed to a water attack. Superior senses in volcanic or brushfire areas.
Abilities:
Flash Fire:(Innate)This Pokemon thrives in high temperatures, and takes the energy of any opposing fire attack, nullifies the damage, and uses the additional power to boost its own fire attack’s Base Attack Power by two (2). Self-targeted attacks do not give the boost.
Intimidate:(Activated)When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing thier Attack stage by one (1) at the cost of two (2) Energy. The attack drop is maintained at the end of each round. If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as an Action, and will affect all opponents.
Justified:(Innate)This Pokemon's body reacts to dark energy, invigorating its passions. When hit by a Dark-type move, the Pokemon's attack will increase one (1) stage. A boost gained this way by an opponent's attack will be maintained at the end of each round. Self-targeted attacks do not maintain boosts. (Dreamworld)
Millzgudino, you post your attacks first. Then Rediamond, you post your attacks. Then, I will ref. Rediamond will then post attacks, then Millzgudino will. Then I will ref, and this will loop back to the start until a victor is declared.
PREPARE TO SUFFER OUR WRATH! CATERPIE, USE YOUR BUG POWERS TO MOVE THROUGH THE BRUSH. SLAM INTO HIM WITH A TACKLE. THEN CREATE A SPIDER WEB TO ENTANGLE HIM WITH STRING SHOT. THEN, DESTROY HIM WITH OUR ULTIMATE TECHNIQUE:
Howdy everyone, and welcome to the corn field! This huge expanse looks rather fun for humans to walk in, but for pokémon it's a whole new story. It's hard to navigate and slows you down. I'll be reffing whilst flying above the arena, with Swoobat to support me. Since the area seems a bit dry and when a fire attack is used in that place I don't wannt be down there. Besides, it seems as if Haden is a bit Intimidating down there to that poor little caterpie (Haden -2 EN / Caterpie -1 Atk).
-Charmander-'s Revenge finds that the Brush conditions have left him more mobile, and celebrates this feeling of mobility by moving first, and hitting Haden with a Tackle (2 Damage / 3 EN). Haden responds with anger, and quite literally ignites my worst fears and sets off coated in flames in a marvelous looking Flame Wheel (18 Damage / 3 EN). Not only does that impact do major damage, it also causes the arena to slowly start burning, but as the chain reaction spreads it burns faster and faster, into a pile of burning corn. Suddenly, Embers jump out the ground and hit both Pokémon - Haden happily absorbs the power of his burning arena (Flash Fire activated!), whilst -Charmander-'s Revenge takes a hefty hit (8 Damage)
OK, setting the arena on fire isn't exactly codified, so here's how I'm reffing it. At the end of every round, you will recieve damage equal to the equivalent of an Ember from a Rank 2 Sp.Atk with no STAB. Thanks to the arena change, we are now treating the restrictions on accuracy and speed as negated. This is also no longer treated as a Deep Brush arena, and instead is treated as a Brushfire arena
With -Charmander-'s Revenge mobility knocked by the change in arena, Haden begins the round, darting into the poor little Caterpie with an Aerial Ace (14 Damage / 4 EN). The bug responds with a String Shot (4 EN) which blasts of a pearl white silk, but is also so sticky that it ties Haden's paws down to the arena. However, as the Embers flare up again, -Charmander-'s Revenge takes more damage (8 Damage), whilst the String on Haden's paws is burnt off by the flames, with Haden's Flash Fire preventing him from taking any actual damage.
Haden continues the onslaught with a Flame Wheel, which is boosted in power by the Flash Fire, for a major hit (21 Damage / 3 EN), which would've scored a burn, but -Charmander-'s Revenge's Shield Dust prevented this. The little bug goes for another Tackle, amazingly scoring a Critical Hit and crashing into Haden's face (7 Damage / 3 EN). The Embers on the ground suddenly become playful again, and strike -Charmander-'s Revenge (8 Damage) whilst Haden smiles in the smoke.
Welcome back to the towering inferno folks! It's Haden who's up again, and surrounds himself in a huge ball of pyro power, before crushing the Caterpie under his foot with a Flame Wheel (21 Damage / 7 EN). Haden then picks up the limp green mess and mauls at it like an old chew toy. Oh dear...
