It's time for the fated battle to start, Arcanite has been waiting for this battle for a long time now(since p228). Alas he was dumped by his opponent, and is now raging, and ready to destroy someone with his bare Pokeballs(not even painted red-white!!!). No one dares to stand up to him, till a new battler finds his way here, and quickly accepts the berserking Arcanite's now reissued challange. Box doesn't know what he has gotten himself into, this will be no easy first battle!

Well then, lets not waste more time and begin the battle! Kyuu begins by trying to create a clone, but has no idea how strong he should make it and ends up doing nothing, not like he could be doing anything with Edge annoying him to Taunt the little fox. Barret decides his arm cannons to shoot some seeds at Kyuu, who at first thinks the projectiles missed but then realises they are on his back, ugh those were Leech Seeds. Romeo decides to do some all around damage, his trainer didn't tell him who to target though, so he aims at Barret with the Flare Burst, which also damages Edge a bit. As Kyuu's health is sapped, everyone gets ready for their next move.

Edge decides to shut down the main offense of the two fire types by constructing a Light Screen. And it already helps Barret much with Kyuu's Flare Burst but again doing some slight damage to Edge while at it. Thinking that he will need much more health, Barret launches his Leech Seeds this time at Romeo, now both of Box's mons are losing their health slowly. If that wasn't enough, Romeo's Fire Blast ends up missing Barret. Two fire mons struggle one is feeling refreshed, off to the last action!

Edge now wants to cripple little Romeo, that was one scary Glare, Romeo can barely move! Kyuu decides to continue where Romeo failed, and manages to hit with his own Fire Blast, which is sadly filtered by the screens first. Barret seems eager to not waste more time and calls upon the Power of Earth to damage Kyuu. Romeo can't do anything but watch his teammate get hit around, mostly because he got fully paralysed.

The seeds are constantly damaging Box's team and their attacks are weakened, but their type advantage is proving useful and going second might change the whole battle! If Box checks up the moves he can use that is(2/3 of your actions seemed like you didn't know how the move worked, though refs make that mistake a lot so don't worry about it).

Edge decides to start this round the same as it did last time, by annoying someone, this time it's Romeo who is Taunted. Kyuu decides to go into a suicide offense, and ignores how it's harder to launch a Fire Blast at Edge every time. Romeo realises the power of DPA, and traps Edge in a Fire Spin, which will damage him till he uses another breath attack, which might happen soon. But before that we realise why Barret didn't act yet, because he was getting ready for something big, a Super Earth Power ouch Kyuu, ouch. With the leech seeds Kyuu is in a dangerous position and Barret is nearly completely healed.

Edge even trapped manges to Torment little Romeo, the flames are tormenting him though in return. Kyuu keeps up his Fire Blast assault and he looks worse and worse. After his good work last round Barret is just resting. Now Romeo gets ready to use Overheat which would stop the Fire Spin on edge, alas he gets fully paralysed, which keeps Edge trapped!

Edge finally makes his first offensive move, with a not so effective Leaf Storm aimed at Kyuu, also lowering it's own SpA. Kyuu as usual keeps up with the constant Fire Blasts, which ended up doing nicely against Edge. After a rest Barret returns with another, though slightly weaker Earth Power, putting Kyuu on the brink of fainting. Meanwhile Romeo gets fully paralysed again, at least this keeps the Fire Spin up... And he is now cured too.

Actually, no, Torment only makes you unable to use the same actions you used last round, it always checks for the last round, not the first round it was used in. Overheat would be the only thing that'd fail, if it wasn't for the fact he got para fucked over.

Itsa KO time! Edge wants to get this over with quickly, so he unleashes another Leaf Strom much more powerful than the last one, and it again makes him stronger and stronger. The one not made stronger is the little firefox under the pile of leaves, Kyuu has been knocked out. Barret doesn't waste any time and goes after their other fire type opponent with another Earth Power he knocks the candle over, ouch what a critical hit. But Romeo stands up, begins walking up the hill, the little candle who could. Then he Fire Blasts Edge into oblivion from the hill, it seems two mons will fight it out in the remainder of the round. After a last sapping, the leech seeds fall off Romeo too.

Barret looks pretty tired from all his Earth Powers, so he just chills around, while Romeo aims at the knocked out Edge, some of the Flame Burst reached Barret, but it was just a flesh wound.

And back to action, Barret goes for yet another Earth Power, yet again not as powerful as the last one was. Well if power is needed Romeo delivers, this time actually targeting the opponent not KOd! Fire Blast hits nicely.

The two remaining mons will soon be sent out, can Box turn things around with Barret being so tired? Or is Romeo too low on health to be able to stall out Barret before going down himself? Eh Who Cares I Don't.

Titan the rock cocoon emerges from it's ball while Priscilla elegantly leaps out of her own, the stage is set for the battle to continue. Everyone is so slow that a piece of rock goes first, that's new, on the other hand Stone Edge missing isn't all that new. Barret again starts the round with a repeat of Earth Power, he is really tired now, he might not even be able to launch another attack without resting! Romeo got lucky and survived, not without his defence being lowered, so he decides to try to get even more lucky by using Confuse Ray on Titan, things aren't looking too good for the rock. On the other hand Priscilla starts to take defensive measures to avoid future damage, setting up a middle sized Substitute.

Titan tries to use another of his stone attacks, but ends up throwing himself instead of other rocks, he hurt himself in confusion. Luckily the hit brought him back to his sense so this won't be a problem for a short while. Barret can barely move anymore, and decides to Chill, he looks refreshed, but not refreshed enough. Priscilla enters the second phase of her plan, and uses Ingrain to regain her health. Romeo is happy his attack worked, so happy that he Confuse Rays Barret this time around.

Okay Titan, you can do it, your last chance to hit Romeo, will you be able to??? Uh what do you mean you already attacked? Romeo is standing right there... Oh come on Fail Edge. Barret decides to strike the weakpoint his last attack created on Romeo, but the Earth Power wasn't strong enough to off him. Priscilla finishes her perfect defence with Leech Seed, which hits Titan and begins leeching his health, good luck getting out of here alive you missing piece of rock. Romeo knows it's over for him, with the health he is left with Titan can end it with an accurate move, he goes for an Overheat on Barret, dealing nice damage but leaving him even more weakened.

Box is doing well(at hax) while Arcanite is ripping out his hair from the anger. If Arcanite doesn't think through his actions, Box could easily snatch the victory away from him.

As we begin Romeo dies, realising Julia has killed herself. As Julia stands up Titan pays her a nice sum. How that has anything to do with Assurance? No idea. Back to the battle, Barret tries to make things sunnier, all he manages to do is trying to turn his own face into a sun, suck to be confused. Priscilla uses this chance to quickly Charm Titan, lets just say Titan's attack power went down for a little while... After that he will some more charming. Priscilla happily restores health, nearly back to full now, they better break that sub quick!

And Titan is on the job, alas since last round he isn't as powerful, and the sub survives with more than half of his health, weak Crunch is weak. The face burn having snapped him out of confusion, Barret manages to set up Sunny Day at last. And how lucky he is, that just leaves him with exactly 3 En... 3 En that he used to burn his own face in confusion... Barret is too tired to continue he is knocked OUT!!! Priscilla uses to chance to throw some confetti at the knocked out Barret to celebrate her victory. And Priscilla is back at full health while Titan is not only angry, but being sapped for no reason now!

So Titan just digs under ground, deciding to not risk being hit, avoiding any kind of SolarBeam(even the ones out of sun which hit at -1 prio while he resurfaces at -2 prio), which he does! Alas the hit from the Dig isn't enough to break the sub just yet, you gotta try harder that that Titan.

A great reversal through hax has happened, has Arcanite underestimating his foes led to a fatal mistake? Will Titan be able to defeat a full health grass type??? When will I get by RT for this battle???
