2v2 Doubles

Infinite recovers/chills

Arena: TF2

Vanilla arena; pick a supporter from those below, and they enter battle with you. They have x HP/1 Atk (5 for Demo)/3 Def/1 SpA/3 SpD/y Spe, where x is their base HP in TF2 divided by 5 (ex. the Heavy has 60 HP, whereas the Scout has 25) and y is their base land speed percentage x 100 in TF2 (ex. the Scout has 133 Spe and the Heavy has 77 Spe). The supporters are typeless, act with 0 Priority, and have 100% accurate typeless attacks (50% accuracy for Spy; Steel-Type for Demoman).

Scout: Has Mad Milk, which causes all attacks to have a Drain effect (pumping normal draining moves to 100% drain and doubling Leech Seed's recovery) for one action; can be used twice per round.

Soldier: Has Rocket Launcher, which does a flat 10 DMG to all opponents and has a 30% flinch rate; can be used once per round.

Pyro: Has Flamethrower, which does a flat 10 DMG to one opponent and gives them Afterburn (Burn for 3A, deals 5 DPA); can be used once per round.

Heavy: Has Minigun, which has a one-action spinup and deals a flat 30 DMG; can be used once per round.

Demoman: Has Eyelander, which deals a 17 BAP Critical Hit! to one opponent. Can be used once per round. If the Demoman scores a KO, the BAP of the Eyelander doubles.

Engineer: Has Dispenser (same stats as Engineer, but Steel-Type with -- Spe); once placed (takes 1 action), it restores 10 EN per action to both of your Pokemon. In addition, he may Wrench the Dispenser to heal it for 10 HP, or Wrench an opponent to deal 5 DMG; both can be used indefinitely.

Medic: Has Medigun, which heals the selected Pokemon of all status and heals 5 HP per action; can be used indefinitely.

Sniper: Has Jarate, which causes all hits on the opponent to become Critical Hits until the opponent acts; can be used indefinitely.

Spy: Disguises as the Pokemon you didn't send out (PM your real sendouts, obviously); remains disguised until he attacks. While disguised, his real actions are PMed to the ref. His Knife deals 25 DMG flat, and has 75% Acc against TF2 players; can be used once per round.

Whoever defeats all Pokemon on the opposing side is the winner!
(Note: Please specify the strength of the mons you plan on bringing. kthxbai.)
I'm taking the TF2 match!

Alright, let's go Gatorstrike and Raptorstrike! Sheer Force enabled for Gatorstrike! And my supporter is the Heavy!

Gatorstrike: Waterfall (Marshtomp) -> Hydro Pump (Marshtomp) -> Waterfall (Marshtomp)
If Marshtomp uses Counter use Hydro Pump (Marshtomp) and push actions back
Raptorstrike: Quick Attack (Dragonite) -> Brave Bird (Marshtomp) -> Double-Edge (Marshtomp)
If Dragonite uses Protect A1 then swap A1 and A2
If Marshtomp uses Counter A3 use Substitute (15 HP)
Heavy: spinup -> fire(Marshtomp) -> blah

All right. Time to battle.

Dragonite: Reflect ~ Thunder (Staraptor) ~ Blizzard
Marshtomp: Rock Slide ~ Protect ~ Rock Slide
Pyro: Flamethrower (Staraptor) ~ Nothing ~ Nothing

As far as I can tell using Brick Break on one Pokemon destroys Reflect on all of them, so theoretically this should work...

Raptorstrike: Roost -> Brave Bird (Marshtomp) -> Double-Edge (Marshtomp)
If Marshtomp is KOed redirect to Dragonite
Gatorstrike: Brick Break (Marshtomp) -> Waterfall (Marshtomp) -> Hydro Pump (Marshtomp)
If Marshtomp is KOed change all remaining actions to Ice Punch (Dragonite)
Heavy: blah -> spinup -> fire (Marshtomp)
If Marshtomp is KOed redirect to Dragonite

man flavor is hard

and yes it does fs

i'm fairly sure brick break still has reflect factored in

also terra 80% acc umadbro

that's like a 4% chance of happening

so lucky

Just wondering a few things before I post.
1) Brick Break's damage isn't reduced by Reflect; the screen breaks before the attack deals damage
2) Pretty sure that Muddy Water and Rock Slide should have done less damage due to multi-target penalty
3) When and how did Marshtomp faint? Seeing as Feraligatr used Ice Punch on Dragonite A3 I'm guessing he fainted when Staraptor used Double-Edge on him, but then why did he get to use Muddy Water A3?

reffing at 5 in the morning, you end up with shit like this

sorry -_-

It was the Double-Edge, which means I have to adjust the recoil too.

asdf fixing

EDIT: Fuck, I have no idea how your Feraligatr has 26 less HP, but it does. 15+9+5+13+5+5+5=57.

I added it up as 55 but maybe I missed something. Anyway...

Alright, time for an all-out assault! We probably lost this, but we're not going down without a fight!

Staraptor: Brave Bird (Dragonite) -> Double-Edge (Dragonite) -> Brave Bird (Dragonite)
If Dragonite uses Protect or Agility use Roost and push actions down
Feraligatr: Ice Punch (Dragonite) x3
If Dragonite uses Agility use Rock Slide
If Dragonite uses Fly A1 or A2 use Aqua Jet + Ice Punch
Heavy: spinup -> fire (Dragonite) -> blah

Each Pokemon gets two subs, they don't need to be against the same moves. Staraptor is subbing against Protect and Agility, Feraligatr is subbing against Agility and Fly. As far as I know (and the one person kind enough to answer me on #capasb agrees) that's perfectly legal.

Dragonite: Thunderbolt (Staraptor) ~ ExtremeSpeed (Feraligatr) ~ Thunderbolt (Feraligatr)
Pyro: Flamethrower (Feraligatr) ~ Nothing ~ Nothing

Yay for not having to care about killing off the Heavy, I guess.

I believe you meant Thunder Terrador (shame about the whole not being allowed to ref illegal actions thing, I may have been able to scrape a victory because of that, oh well)

Huh. I could have sworn that Dragonite had Thunderbolt; at any rate, I'll purchase it soon.

Dragonite: Thunder (Staraptor) ~ ExtremeSpeed (Feraligatr) ~ ExtremeSpeed (Feraligatr)
Pyro: Flamethrower (Feraligatr) ~ Nothing ~ Nothing

EVERY ROUND

THE THINGIE EXPLODES MY BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL COMPLETED POST

THIS IS JUST

ARGH

FIVE O'CLOCK AND SMOGON HATES ME

Okay. Here's the gist of it.

Thunder kills Staraptor after recoil.

Feraligatr is roasted, hits Ice Punch, and dies next turn to an Extremespeed.

Pretty sure the Heavy doesn't count, so

GG

Terrador and Flamestrike get 2 CC
Dragonite, Feraligatr, Staraptor get 3 MC
Marshtomp gets 1 EC, 2 MC, 1 DC
Staraptor gets 1 KOC
Dragonite gets 2 KOC
I get 5 RC

Sorry for being an uninteresting ref. Seriously, you should have seen some of this deleted flavor. I was proud of it. But it was deleted, and I'm not typing it again. Sorry.
