Description:
The first course of Mushroom Cup, Luigi designed Luigi Circuit to be the perfect racetrack for beginners. Situated with large stands full of cheering crowds all around, the roughly oval-shaped racetrack is great for practice. While the shortcuts are too tricky for players to maneuver whilst battling, Luigi Circuit and its collection of item boxes are sure to give battlers a great time duking it out while racing towards the end of the course.

Combat behaves the same way as regular combat does while on Luigi Circuit. At the end of each round, however, each Pokemon runs into a set of item boxes and obtains one item. If the Pokemon already has an item at the end of a round, it does not pick up a second one; however, if the Pokemon has the ability Pick Up, it will be able to hold a second item, but not a third. Each item can be used either before the first action or at the end of a action without using up the action; the exception to this is the Thunder Cloud, which activates automatically. However, you may not use more than one item per interval between actions. The item that is obtained is decided through RNG, and their item is described below. All stage boosts and drops that occur from items decay at the end of the round that they are used.

15% - Banana Peel: -1 Spe to target, 50% to Flinch.
10% - Thunder Cloud: Transferred by contact attacks, activates a Lightning effect on the holder at the end of the round.
10% - Mushroom: +1 Spe, +1 Crit Rate, +5% Acc
10% - Fake Item Box: 100% to Flinch.
10% - Red Shell: 10 DMG to target, 60% to Flinch.
05% - Bob-omb: Deals 10 DMG to all enemies and 3 DMG to all allies.
05% - POW Block: -2 Spe to all Pokemon, -10% Eva to all Pokemon.
05% - Lightning: 5 DMG to all Pokemon, inflicts 25% PRZ to all enemies, reduces SC to 2.
05% - Blue Shell: 15 DMG to target, 3 DMG to other Pokemon, 100% to Flinch.
05% - Blooper: -20% Acc to all enemies, -20% Eva to all enemies, -1 Spe to all enemies.
02% - Golden Mushroom: +3 Spe, +2 Crit Rate, +20% Acc.
02% - Star: +5 DMG to all attacks, -5 DMG to all attacks aimed at you.
01% - Bullet Bill: 20 DMG to all enemies, +6 Spe, Flinches all Pokemon for 1 action.

It should be noted that getting hit by certain items will result in a loss of your item; these follow the rules of Mario Kart in-game. For example, getting hit by either a Bullet Bill or a Blue Shell will result in your item getting knocked out. Furthermore, a Pokemon can opt to discard an item instead of using it; a simple order such as "[Discard Lightning]" will do, but it will count as using an item between an action; however, the Lightning Cloud may not be discarded. Note that this does not take up an action, and since it is not an action, cannot be flinched by means of Mario Kart items or moves such as Fake Out. Items that are used by different Pokemon on the same interval are used in order of standard turn order; treat Bullet Bills as having 3 Priority, Stars and Golden Mushrooms as having 2 Priority, and Mushrooms as having 1 Priority.

This Pokemon's mischievous nature and greed make it very effective at pawning off an opponents item. If this Pokemon has no item and either it or the opposing Pokemon strikes with a contact attack, their item is stolen and becomes the held item of this Pokemon. Pokemon with Pickpocket can be commanded to swap items with an ally, and only they will need to expend an action to do so because of their swifter sleight of hand.

Abilities:
Pick Up: (Innate) This Pokemon has a natural habit of collecting items. Whenever a hold item (its own or an opponents) is used or knocked onto the ground with a move like Knock Off, this Pokemon will immediately pick up that item without using an action. It can also grab dropped or naturally occuring hold items in arenas.
Thick Fat: (Innate) This Pokemon has a great deal of extra fat or muscle that increases its resistance to extreme heat or extreme cold, reducing the type effectiveness of Fire- and Ice-typed attacks to the next level of resistance (2x weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes resistance, etc.)

BEGIN ROUND ONE

Welcome to Luigi's Circuit, where my flavor will be sparse because it's late and I should be heading to bed.

Icicles begins by sneering at Joystrike, making this little pink ball of happiness swell up in rage! Joystrike runs forward with the speed of a demented penguin and slaps Icicles with her stubby little limbs, dealing laughable damage. That's right. Start laughing. Now. Inferno turns attention to Snackstrike, shooting a blue flame that oscillates as it hits Snackstrike and inflicts a powerful burn! Snackstrike yawns in pain and falls onto the ground, somehow managing to smack Inferno while doing so. Flamestrike's team sure is lazy.

Icicles now dances around, sharpening his claws in preparation for slicing lard. Don't worry; that's not supposed to mean anything! Joystrike slaps Icicles once more, while Inferno casts a disorientating light on Snackstrike, intensely confusing the blubbery little cretin. Snackstrike manages to fight through the confusion and jumps up like a pudgy squirrel, landing with a thump. Snackstrike is so fat from consuming his snacks that his landing creates and earthquake that rocks the entire racetrack, acting almost like a POW Block. Well, not quite; everybody just takes some minor damage.

Fully prepared now, Icicles lunges forward and slashes Snackstrike menacingly. The attack deals a whopping amount of damage, but Snackstrike's corpulent body seems to be saving him for now. Joystrike continues slapping away at Icicles for pitiful damage, while Inferno suddenly reduces its own size, making it harder to hit. This proves to be irrelevant, though, as Snackstrike becomes too confused for his own good and falls facefirst onto the racetrack.

After getting back on, the four racers zoom past the set of item boxes, picking up cool items to throw at each other!

BEGIN ROUND TWO

My head hurts too much to do anything in this section!

A bunch of items get thrown around, causing a rather large amount of flinches; Icicles' repeated Fake Outs don't help this case, either. Snackstrike seems to be as adept at dealing damage to his ally as dealing damage to his opponents, but Joystrike fares little better, although she does manage to land an extra hard slap on Icicles! Meanwhile, Inferno and Icicles seem to be ganging up on Joystrike, who narrowly avoids the vortex of flames; Snackstrike, on the other hand is not so lucky.

And... they pick up another set of items. Nothing to note here, besides the fact that Joystrike suddenly has a thunder cloud floating over her head!

BEGIN ROUND THREE

Icicles throws a banana peel at Joystrike, somehow reducing her speed! Unfortunately for him, Joystrike seems to have been around bananas for a long time, as she is unaffected by the slipperiness of the peel! Similarly, Inferno chucks a red shell that homes in on Snackstrike, dealing damage, but Snackstrike doesn't flinch either; in fact, he stuffs the shell into his mouth and starts eating it. Gross. He does, however, pull out a green shell from his storage space underneath his fur and hurls it back at Inferno, dealing some minor damage.

Icicles begins by ramming his kart into Joystrike's, causing Joystrike to rage really really hard! Joystrike pulls her kart back towards Icicles with some difficulty and goes back to slapping him relentlessly. This does have a side effect, though, as the thunder cloud hovering ominously over Icicles suddenly shifts Pokemon and hovers over Icicles instead. Inferno discombobulates Snackstrike once more with a flash of light; indeed, Snackstrike promptly smacks himself in confusion and regurgitates the red shell into a nearby Warp Pipe. Who knows where it'll go next?

Icicles pulls away from Joystrike now and brakes until he's adjacent to Snackstrike; then, he swipes viciously at him, dealing a sizable amount of damage. Joystrike continues to pound away at Icicles, inadvertently inviting the Thunder Cloud to pass back to her. Inferno wreathes Snackstrike in a telepathic blue aura before throwing him off his kart, but Snackstrike snaps out of confusion, gets back on rather quickly, then waddles onto Inferno's kart, headbutting him lazily. Although the damage so far seems equal, the residual damage seems to be chipping away at Snackstrike; at least the fiery vortex has gone now.

Icicles swings his other arm around, slamming into Snackstrike's ample body with a large amount of force. Joystrike slaps Icicles yet again, passing the Thunder Cloud back to him. Inferno seems to take delight in torturing Snackstrike, as he summons another whirlwind of fire to assault him. Snackstrike jumps up and down on his kart again, creating a seismic wave that knocks all of the other karts back.

Icicles gets zapped by the Thunder Cloud, suffering some minor damage but also getting paralyzed!

And... it's time for another round of item boxes! Icicles... gets yet another Thunder Cloud, while Inferno picks up a Banana Peel. There's really not much of interest. Flamestrike's team seems unbelievably lucky, though; Joystrike picks up an ink-shooting Blooper, while Snackstrike rolls the most powerful item of all, a Bullet Bill!

I'm going to assume you meant to say Agility dodge ~ Quick Attack + Brick Break ~ chill because otherwise you're ordering a triple combo which is illegal. Also Engineer don't forget to put that Joystrike is taunted in the status.
