[SET]
Kyurem @ Life Orb
Trait: Pressure
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Blizzard
- Outrage
- Draco Meteor/Substitute
- Focus Blast
EVs: 72 Atk, 252 SpA, 184 Spe

Why this set deserves to be on-site:
-Choice sets are often outclassed by latios and friends
-draco meteor is powerful
-Outrage hits blissey
-Blizzard kills grass types and KOs other dragons without being locked or SpA drops.
-Focus blast/HP fire hit steels
-Life orb boosts power
-Substitute could be used in order to protect from burns from the likes of support Rotom-W, and allows for hitting the scizor switching in to take the presumed ice move with a focus blast. It also helps against bulky waters trying to get a scald burn, such as vaporeon.
-Unlike other offensive dragons, such as salamence, in hail this thing is not hurt but prevents opponents from recovering with leftovers.
Additional Comments:
-Speed outspeeds modest celebi, adamant mence etc.
-Blizzard OHKOs dragonite (with multiscale)
-28 HP Ivs could be used to lessen life orb
-MAG is a good team member
-Abomasnow is required to make opponents hit by hail and make blizzard usable over ice beam.
Checks & Counters:
-Walled by jirachi
-Scizor can revenge kill
-Conkeldurr can take a hit and drain punch+ mach punch for KO.
-Mienshao outspeeds but if a sub comes up its gonna die
-Fast?bulkt fighting types in general.

About playtesting: I did it before but I recently tried it in hail. It works.

I think this set is outclassed by Salamence. While Kyurem has secondary STAB, you're basically going to come in, use Draco Meteor, and either use Outrage or just switch out. While both Kyurem and Salamence are SR weak, Mence has access to recovery, and isn't destroyed by Scizor. Mence also can use Intimidate to good effect, and with Moxie can destroy everything with Outrage.

Also, the secondary STAB doesn't do you any favors, as you lose the ability to beat both Tyranitar and Scizor or Ferrothorn. Plus, Hidden Power Fire is really weak. Most importantly, the beauty of MixMence is the ability to lure in things like Gliscor, and dispatch them with Draco Meteor. Jirachi is still going to switch in to Kyurem, and you still can't beat it.

Not sure to the purpose of those 72 Atk Ev's, as Blissey (252HP/252Def) is even 2HKO'd with no attack investment with Leftovers calc'd in. If you're fearing the pink blob, I think Chansey is the one you should aim for as it boasts stronger defenses after Eviolite (only a 13% chance of 2HKO'ing a 4HP/252Def spread with 72 attack EV's).

Aside from that, Complete Legitimacy already pointed out the major grievances with this set and Outrage ain't gonna remedy those. Kyurem's slow speed & being locked into Outrage when the foe swaps in a Steel-type is a disaster waiting to happen.

Yea I don't really see what this set has over Mence aside from surprise value and I don't think it's possible to modify this set so that it's not outclassed. That said, I think Expert Belt deserves a slash or maybe an AC mention as the choice sets are so common and Kyurem is already strong enough. Psychic should also go in AC to hit Conk trying to set up on you. Dragon Claw gets an AC mention since Kyurem locked into Outrage is jusk asking for Scizor come in and set up.

What you could do to make this set not outclassed is run it in hail. Protip- It's really good in hail.

I used to run this set on hail teams and it cleaned up almost every game.

Kyurem @ Life Orb
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 40 Atk / 252 SAtk / 216 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Blizzard
- Outrage
- Focus Blast
- Draco Meteor

I would change the set's name to "Hail Mixed Attacker" or something along those lines because using it outside of hail is a bad idea.

Yea, I'd definitely replace your set with Super Mario Bro's Hail Mixed Offense. The addition of STAB Blizzard and residual damage of Hail really sets Kyurem apart from Mixmence or MixNite. Unlike the choiced set or the Sub + 3 Atk, this set readily 2HKOs Chansey and Blissey, making it much tougher for defensive teams to stop Kyurem. Its also good to note that this Kyurem is less affected by the change in weather due to its access to a powerful STAB Outrage, other than Draco Meteor, to utilize outside of Hail. Hasty is the preferred nature, since Kyurem shouldn't be taking priority Bullet Punches anyways, and it really values its special bulk to absorb Water / Electric / Ice / Grass hits.

Make sure to mention Abomasnow support under Teammates. You could add faster Rock- or Fighting-types, such as ScarfTar, Terrakion, or Mienshao as checks to Kyurem.

I'd also consider play-testing this Kyurem in Hail, because as of now your outline is pretty skimpy; you seem to only touch the surface and not offer much more meaningful insight. Actual battle experience would help you write a more informative analyses.

Asterat, the format of Kyurem's moveset is messed up - this is the right format.

[SET]
name: Hail Mixed Attacker
move 1: Blizzard
move 2: Outrage
move 3: Draco Meteor
move 4: Focus Blast
item: Life Orb
nature: Hasty
evs: 40 Atk / 252 SAtk / 216 Spd

Copy and paste this. Notice that I took Super Mario Bro's spread, since I don't see the extra Atk clinching any useful KOs while the boost in Speed is handy.
  • Mention in set comments that STAB Blizzard and residual damage of Hail sets Kyurem apart from other Mix Dragons, such as Mixmence or MixHydreigon.
  • Mention in set comments that unlike Kyurem's other sets, Mix Kyurem readily 2HKOs Chansey and Blissey, making it much tougher for defensive teams to stop Kyurem.
  • Mention in set comments that unlike Kyurem's other sets, Mix Kyurem is less affected by the change in weather due to its access to a powerful STAB Outrage to utilize outside of Hail, other than Draco Metoer
  • Drop Substitute in AC
  • Mention that Speed EVs allow it to outrun positive nature base 90 Speed Pokemon, namely Jolly Lucario.
  • Emphasize that Magnezone is useful for removing Jirachi and Scizor, as most other Steel Types are not problematic to Mix Kyurem
  • Mention in Teammates that checks to Fighting- and Rock-types, such as Nidoqueen and Slowbro, are useful partners
