[SET COMMENTS]

Kabutops's great offensive typing, excellent Attack stat, and access to a STAB priority move make it a very effective user of a Choice Band. While other sets focus on setting up or on team support, this Kabutops brings immediate power and the ability to revenge kill to the table. Waterfall is Kabutops's main STAB move due to its excellent neutral coverage, good power, and flinch chance. Stone Edge is a more powerful, if less reliable, secondary STAB move. The combination of Water- and Rock-type moves has excellent coverage, and Kabutops gains STAB on both of them.

Aqua Jet is one of the most important moves on this set, as it allows Kabutops to easily revenge kill threatening Pokemon such as Moltres and Aerodactyl. Superpower rounds out Kabutops's coverage by smashing through Ferroseed, who is one of the few Pokemon to resist both Water- and Rock-type attacks. It's also Kabutops's most powerful move against the blubbery special sponges that reside in RU, namely Munchlax, Lickilicky, and Clefable. A main attraction of this Kabutops set is that it can pose as an excellent check to opposing Rain Dance teams. Without the need to set up, it can outspeed and smack other Swift Swim Pokemon around with Stone Edge, and also hammer opposing Kabutops and Omastar with Superpower.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

The EVs are very simple: Attack and Speed are maximized to give Kabutops the highest possible damage output, and to tie with opposing neutral-natured base 80 Speed Pokemon. A Jolly nature can be used, but the extra power provided by Adamant is preferred in most cases, and Aqua Jet can hit faster opponents anyway. Rapid Spin is a possible move in the last slot, should your team have other means of dealing with Ferroseed, but Kabutops can lure it in and KO it, and a Choice-locked Rapid Spin is one of the top momentum-killing moves in existence. Brick Break is a less powerful Fighting-type move that can be used in the last slot, but deals noticeably less damage to Ferroseed; the ability to break through Reflect and Light Screen is very valuable though.

Kabutops has trouble with bulky Water-types, such as Qwilfish and Alomomola: the former can cut Kabutops's Attack with Intimidate and use it as setup fodder, while the latter's massive physical bulk lets it tank even Stone Edge with relative ease, and it can whittle Kabutops down with Waterfall and Toxic. Grass-types can also prove problematic should they switch in on a Water-type move, as they can proceed to set up on or outright OHKO Kabutops. Galvantula and Manectric can beat Water- and Grass-types thanks to their STAB Electric-type attacks and excellent coverage moves in Bug Buzz and Overheat. Sap Sipper Pokemon such as Bouffalant and Sawsbuck are also excellent partners for Kabutops, as they can switch in for free on the Grass-type moves that Kabutops will inevitably attract, and gain an Attack boost in the process.

Don't bother mentioning the stuff about Weak Armor, it's basically always inferior to swift swim, even though rain is so much less popular than it used to be. Anyways, good set, looks solid.

I agree with what windsong said. This thing's ability to shit on rain is one of the things that make this an A++ set. Mention in AC Pokemon like HP Rock Lilligant are good partners to this since they benefit from Kabutops' ability to lure Ferroseed and stuff like that.

Maybe mention X-Scissor for hitting -Grass types. You still hit Ferroseed neutrally which is better than your two STABS.

I like checking short things >_>

See here for my justification behind changing "since" to "as"

Good job :)

Kabutops's great offensive typing, excellent Attack,(comma) and access to a STAB priority move means that it can use a very efficient Choice Band set. While other Kabutops sets focus on setting up or on team support, this Kabutops brings immediate power and the ability to revenge kill to the table. Waterfall is Kabutops's main STAB move,(remove comma) due to its excellent neutral coverage, good power, and the chance to flinch the opponent. Stone Edge is a more powerful, if less reliable, secondary STAB move, courtesy of its infamous accuracy. Aqua Jet is one of the most important moves on this set, sinceas it can easily revenge kill threatening Pokemon such as Moltres and Aerodactyl. Superpower rounds out Kabutops's coverage by smashing through Ferroseed, which resists the Water- and Rock-type combination.
