Welcome one and all to the ASB Arena for another exciting match!! Today we will have the up-and-comer Wobbanaut taking on the eager Orcinus Duo. Before this match begins let us review the set rules:

Normal: Normal STAB; adapt comfortably to any surrounding after 3 actions. Able to use Outrage without losing focus.
Abilities
Run Away: [Type: Innate] This Pokemon is quick on its feet and will evade any field traps and hazards that would harm it (Spikes, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes) in an arena. A Pokemon can still absorb Toxic Spikes if it has Run Away and is Poison-typed. Summary: Water STAB; Can breathe and have excellent mobility when underwater, are less capable on land unless they are entirely amphibious.

The opponents enter the arena sizing up their foe as they take their starting positions. The Crowd roars their approval as Handy the Aipom and Marge the Lotad are released onto the field. Both Pokemon prepare themselves for the battle ahead, with Handy quickly dashing around the field creating illusionary copies of himself, meanwhile Marge does her own little dance, but as she finishes hers rain begins to pour onto the field.

Thinking that the rain may provide decent cover, Handy and his entire crew of clones leap into the air. They then descend from the clouds, cause a veritable monkey avalanche on Marge. Marge has been ready though. As soon as they leaped into the air she began to gather a red aura around herself, and as the monkey barrage struck, she unleashed this aura into one of the monkeys, however the target merely disappeared harmlessly.

The squad of Handys don't even bat an eye as one of the clones is vaporized, and immediately launch back into the air, and skydive into Marge again, leaving her annoyed as she gathers another aura of power and takes aim at the monkeys. Alas, she only manages to dust another clone. She begins to breathe heavily as these attacks are taking their toll on her stamina. Will she be able to find the energy to finish this fight?

Handy opens up the next round of combat by quickly dashing forward and clapping his hands together, creating a small shock wave that sends Marge tumbling head over feet, landing next to the pool of water near the edge of the arena.

Marge then quickly rolls into the pool of water and compels the water to form a large swell that launches across the arena, crashing down on the monkey menagerie. However, just before the wave crashes down on them they throw up a barrier of energy that repels the water, leaving them unharmed, although tired.

Marge continues her assault and sends another massive wave crashing across the arena. Handy attempts to maintain his barrier to deflect the aquatic assault, however the wave swells in power from the falling rain and manages to punch through the barrier, sending the monkeys flying from the impact. The clones dissipate upon touching down and Handy sputters out water and gasps for air. Both pokemon are breathing heavily, the match taking its toll on their stamina.

why? earthquake is 7 energy, -1 for stab, and +4 for the 2nd one for consecutive use, for a total of 16 energy spent, unless i missed something

Drake greets his new opponent by gathering energy in preparation for a huge attack, however as soon as Choice enters the field he begins applauding Drake on his powerful earthquakes. Drake is so flattered by the praise that he cant help but forgo the attack he had been preparing and release another earthquake identical the ones he had used before.

As Drake continues his onslaught of seismic attacks, he manages to knock Choice off balance and land a Critical Hit! Choice readies a red aura by utilizing the power be unleashed by Drake, and fires the aura back at Drake hitting for massive damage.

Drake and Choice continue their assaults on eachother, leaving them closely tied in both health and energy
