Okay, let's see if I can get this clusterfuck in order...

Pre-Round

Round 2: I can't see what the hell's going on

Hey, folks! Wanderer here, filling in for SubwayJ! And sweet Arceus, is this fight a mess!

Lessee if I can make heads or tails of the situation...looks like that Gardevoir Keraia is trying to give her Cyclohm partner a Helping Hand, but it proves fruitless as Daezara's intended target, A Staraptor named Raptorstrike, grabs an S Unown and vanishes into thin air before her Ice Beam can connect! On a side note, this also foils Maltia the Gengar's attempt to use Sacred Fire. Meanwhile, Alex's Typhlosion Sellian lets out a violent Eruption that ravages Vinestrike and Steelstrike, but Raptorstrike is still AWOL and doesn't get hurt. Hacketia the Porygon-Z continues this multi-pronged assault with Swift, targeting Flamestrike's eponymous Magmortar instead of Steelstrike, and once again missing Raptorstrike. Flamestrike's team, meanwhile, focuses on taking down Maltia, Vinestrike grabbing an N and Flamestrike taking a P to whack her with Night Daze and Psystrike, respectively. Steelstrike, on the other hand, decides to go with brute force and Heavy Slam her, while Raptorstrike's plan finally comes to fruition, taking the Gengar down for good with Shadow Force!

This time, Raptorstrike gains the initiative, and this time he and his colleagues are ganging up on Daezara, Double-Edging her while Vinestrike and Flamestrike go for Venoshock and Hidden Power, respectively. Steelstrike tries to take her down with an Unown-spawned Bonemerang, but is foiled as Keraia gets to the B first and soaks him in Brine. Hacketia once again continues to ravage multiple targets, grabbing a W and dumping a nasty Water Spout on Vine, Raptor and Steel, putting the Venusaur and Steelix on their last legs! Daezara finally counters with a Thunderbolt to Raptorstrike's face, and we finally see why Sellian took so long - Doubling the power of his Overheat attack, he completely annihilates Steelstrike in a deadly Meltdown! I imagine Alex is questioning if that was really necessary, as not only does Sellian's offensive capabilities take a nosedive, but Steelstrike didn't have much health left to begin with.

It's looking quite bad for the strikes, and while they've managed to down some prime offense in Alex's team, it's clear the boys in blue are nowhere near done fighting yet. Can Flamestrike turn this around? Will Alex's solid position hold? Will the next round make my head spin less? Find out after the break!

Round 3: Well, this fight didn't last long.

We're back! And the calculations have left me too lazy to do any decent fluff, so here's the gist: Raptorstrike Earthquakes the entire battlefield, ~~killing off Vinestrike accidentally~~ NO HE DIDN'T, Flamestrike gets taken down by a Hyper Beam, Daezara almost gets defeated, but manages to survive, and on the second action Flamestrike's Staraptor gets finished off.

Lessee if I can make heads or tails of the situation...looks like that Gardevoir Keraia is trying to give her Cyclohm partner a Helping Hand, but it proves fruitless as Daezara's intended target, A Staraptor named Raptorstrike, grabs an S Unown and vanishes into thin air before her Ice Beam can connect! On a side note, this also foils Maltia the Gengar's attempt to use Sacred Fire. Meanwhile, Alex's Typhlosion Sellian lets out a violent Eruption that ravages Vinestrike and Steelstrike, but Raptorstrike is still AWOL and doesn't get hurt. Hacketia the Porygon-Z continues this multi-pronged assault with Swift, targeting Flamestrike's eponymous Magmortar instead of Steelstrike, and once again missing Raptorstrike. Flamestrike's team, meanwhile, focuses on taking down Maltia, Vinestrike grabbing an N and Flamestrike taking a P to whack her with Night Daze and Psystrike, respectively. Steelstrike, on the other hand, decides to go with brute force and Heavy Slam her, while Raptorstrike's plan finally comes to fruition, taking the Gengar down for good with Shadow Force! This time, Raptorstrike gains the initiative, and this time he and his colleagues are ganging up on Daezara, Double-Edging her while Vinestrike and Flamestrike go for Venoshock and Hidden Power, respectively. Steelstrike tries to take her down with an Unown-spawned Bonemerang, but is foiled as Keraia gets to the B first and soaks him in Brine. Hacketia once again continues to ravage multiple targets, grabbing a W and dumping a nasty Water Spout on Vine, Raptor and Steel, putting the Venusaur and Steelix on their last legs! Daezara finally counters with a Thunderbolt to Raptorstrike's face, and we finally see why Sellian took so long - Doubling the power of his Overheat attack, he completely annihilates Steelstrike in a deadly Meltdown! I imagine Alex is questioning if that was really necessary, as not only does Sellian's offensive capabilities take a nosedive, but Steelstrike didn't have much health left to begin with. It's looking quite bad for the strikes, and while they've managed to down some prime offense in Alex's team, it's clear the boys in blue are nowhere near done fighting yet.
