HORSES STRONG

"The wagon rests in winter, the sleigh in summer, the horse never" ~ Yiddish proverb

Hi everyone, I'm back with another RMT, this time co-writing with trickroom. So, after watching trickroom do his bird team and then use other animal based teams (like snakes), we decided to try a number of different animals, until we reached the majestic horses. We started off with rain horses, and after we had too much fun with rain horses, we decided to use sun horses, and both herds of horses were so amazing that we're going to RMT both of them at once! It is said that "even an E-type Jaguar looks merely flash beside a really smart pony". Indeed, horse breeding is an important profession in the Pokemon world, in fact, over 14 billion Pokeyen are spent on horses every year in Kanto alone. Underestimate these horses, and they will trample on your face from kingdom come. One reason why birds and horses are happy is because they are not trying impress other birds and horses. If you can't be successful with horses, you either got the wrong horses, or you used the horses wrong.

Just a little on how we made these teams, we did allow ourselves one wildcard Pokemon that wasn't a horse, and you could say for the rest of the horses... the definition of a horse was loosened so we could fit more horses into our team, but that's okay, since the genetic material of most of these quadrapedes are probably over 95% similar to each other anyway.

Groudon @ Leftovers ***Dino Horse***
Ability: Drought
EVs: 240 HP / 228 Def / 40 Spe
Nature: Impish
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Fire Blast

So on this sun horse team, Groudon brings in the HORSEpower. He may look like a dinosaur on two legs, but the picture above should convince you that the summoner of drought was once a horse. The fact that he knows how to use Rock Polish and run faster than everything shows that he still has what it takes to be a top tier horse. However, in our team, Dino Horse is playing the role of the endurance horse. Stealth Rock clips the wings of any BIRDS that think they can outrun my majestic steeds. Groudon will frequently push his powerful hooves into the ground to cause an amazing EARTHQUAKE, while Stone Edge hurts more birds. Fire Blast roasts any silly bugs and plants that think they can set up Spikes that can dig into my horse's hooves. The EVs make Groudon very, very bulky, tanking attacks from stupid moles and other dinosaurs that don't have an opportunity to be as horse-like as Groudon. Even with a -ve nature, Groudon still OHKOs Forretress and does >80% to Ferrothorn in the sun. 40 Speed EVs are used so Groudon can outgallop most turkeys.

Sawsbuck @ Life Orb ***Reindeer***
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Nature: Adamant
- Swords Dance
- Horn Leech
- Double-Edge
- Jump Kick
Sawsbuck, while a deer, is close enough to being a horse as we need him to be. He is easily the horse that you would bet on to win the Melbourne Cup. Screw Black Cavier, fuck Makybe Diva, only Phar Lap can compete with horse. Reindeer sports 578 Speed, easily outspeeding pretty much everything in the game. While Sawsbuck doesn't easily get opportunities to set up, base 100 Attack with Life Orb and Double-Edge hits most things very hard anyway. Horn Leech saps HP from silly stuff like Kyogre, as well as eating up stuff like if Sawsbuck has an SD up. Jump Kick proves that not only is Sawsbuck an amazing fast horse, but also an amazing jumps racing horse. He FALCON KICKs annoying ass Ferrothorns. I didn't pick Nature Power since Ferrothorn is more common than stuff like Jirachi and Metagross are quite rare, and Jump Kick hits pretty much every other Steel-type ether as hard or harder than Earthquake. The only main problem with Jump Kick is that if Sawsbuack misses, he pretty much dies, but then again, if Sawsbuck doesn't kil something, he's probably dead anyway.

Rapidash @ Choice Band ***Fire Horse***
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Nature: Jolly
- Flare Blitz
- Wild Charge
- Drill Run
- Megahorn / Baton Pass

Rapidash is probably the most beautiful horse you will ever find. Seriously, why else do you the president of that Pokemon Fan Club in Vermillion City jizzes his pants at any mention of Rapidash? The only thing Rapidash is lacking is a badass evolution into a Fire / Flying pegasus with Magic Guard, along with Brave Bird, base 110 Attack and 115 Speed. There's nothing more badass than a horse on fire. HORSE ON FIRE. This horse is powerful enough to 2HKO Lugia in the sun with Flare Blitz. There have be many whales who think they can block this mighty stallion, only to be completely trampled to death by Wild Charge. The last two moves are generally filler, but Drill Run does smash Heatran to hundreds of volcanic pieces, as well as being the strongest attack against Rock Arceus. Megahorn is mostly useless, but since most Latiases are only running enough Speed to outspeed Garchomp (foolish!), Rapidash can revenge kill these silly Latiases with Megahorn, as well as hitting Tyranitar very hard. Baton Pass was an initial option for me to dry pass around, but Latias was kind of annoying at times, and nailing that thing was very satisfying. Rapidash might not be the horse you take to a race, but is definitely one of the powerful horses you would bring to a battle.

Virizion @ Leftovers ***Santa Horse***
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 HP / 144 SpD / 112 Spe
Nature: Timid
- Calm Mind
- Grass Knot
- Focus Blast
- Roar / Hidden Power Ice
The horses needed a teammate to take on fatass whales, and fortunately, the forest horse Virizion can step up to do that. With the given EVs, Virizion can easily tank two Water Spouts from ScarfOgre and Grass Knot it for heaps of damage. Specs Water Spout does more, but Virizion is EVed to be faster than any Specs Kyogres out there. Focus Miss sucks, but destroys Dialga and Ferrothorn. Hidden Power Ice and Roar are usually interchangeable. HP Ice destroys green snakes in that fly around the ozone layer, but Roar is pretty cool for phazing out Calm Mind Arceuses that can't really hurt me, as well as trolling some Giratina-O variants that has Dragon Tail as their only physical attack. I really use one of the other sometimes, but it isn't really that important. So the EVs are relatively simple. 112 Speed EVs allow Virizion to outspeed Timid Kyogre, while rest go into HP and SpD to eat block them. I'm really tempted to push an extra 80 EVs into Speed so Virizion can stick the finger at the big (literal) dick known as Palkia, but the bulk lost is quite substantial.

Arceus-Ghost @ Spooky Plate ***Mother Horse***
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Nature: Timid
- Calm Mind
- Judgement
- Focus Blast
- Recover
Arceus is the mother of all horses. Originally, this was standard Extreme Horse, but I realised how easily walled this team is against Lugia and Giratina, so GhostCeus was a good fit to take out both of them. It is evident of how amazing horses are in the Pokemon world that their God is one. I mean, just look at that graceful and majestic figure. If that does not instill awe into the hearts of all other Pokemon, then I don't what will. It may be a bit depressing that Mother Horse is a ghost, but this is more of a reason to feel Her. She is a HOLY GHOST, if you will. As for the set, very little stands in the way of offensive Calm Mind GhostCeus. She is a defender, sweeper and supporter all in one. She becomes especially happy when she sees silly SD GhostCeuses and will happily show them to the meat grinder and feed them to the European beef market.

Terrakion @ Choice Scarf ***Trojan Horse***
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Nature: Jolly
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- X-Scissor
- Sleep Talk
Terrakion is the legendary Trojan Horse. Quick and insidious, this horse strikes quickly and thoroughly, leaving nothing unchecked. Why else do you think the Trojans got destroyed by the Greeks all those years ago? It was all because this amazing horse. He switches into retarded voids created by Darkrai and talks his way into flattening that demon under its size 24 hoof. Not only Darkrai, but Terrakion can slay Mother Horse herself, provided She's the mother Extreme Horse. Like all of the other horses, Trojan Horse is extremely fast. Close Combat trashes most Pokemon that aren't resistant to it, while Stone Edge swats birds and dragons out of the air. X-Scissor can revenge kill slightly weakened cats in Mewtwo. Sleep Talk allows Terrakion to sleep on the job while being amazingly powerful at the same time.

The two of us also used slightly different versions of the same team, so trickroom's version is such:

trickroom said:
I use a different Dino Horse set than shrang's bulky slow horse, I prefer using the mighty yet underrated Horse, Expert Belt Groudon! The good thing about Expert belt is you get to wear down Giratina-O pretty fast with Dragon Claw and dropping Fire Blast isn't too much when every horse can beat Forretress except maybe Trojan Horse. Stone Edge when boosted by the master belt, gains an OHKO on full health Rayquaza regardless of prior damage, and it 2HKOes Lugia after Stealth Rock damage. If you go with Expert belt, an EV spread of 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe helps to outrun everything up to Kabutops and beats out slow Lugia. Next, max HP Dialga is OHKOed, something Support Groudon cannot do. However, making this change does have drawbacks, as Groudon will no longer be really bulk and fails to check SD Arceus.
----
I tried Giga Drain Virizion as an alternative, but it was really weak but the health gained from the attack is sometimes pretty useful such as against Kyogre. Giga Drain also hits Manaphy harder but most Ubers are top heavy for Grass Knot is the best option. The truth is, Virizion is of a horse of Justice, she is too pure to DRAIN the energy from puny weaklings, and as such as prefers to fight like a warhorse, Calm Minding alongside titans and KO them first with an easy Grass Knot trip or blast them away when facing green dinosaurs.
---
I sometimes prefer using the standard ExtremeHorse over Mother Ghost when I need a revenge killer to beat those damn psycho cats and Darkrais flying around the tier. Overall, Mother Horse has more utility in hr Ghost form so weak Lugias and Giratinas have no hope of walling the rage of horses.
----
Scarf Terrakion is a great set to use, but I do like Double Booster Terrakion in this team.

Terrakion @ Life Orb ***Trojan Horse***
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Nature: Jolly
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Rock Polish
- Swords Dance

Hate that Timid Lugia? Use Rock Polish! Annoyed by bulky whales? Enjoy a Swords Danced Close Combat. Double booster Terrakion has way more power than Scarf but he does have drawbacks and now fails to outrun fast Arceus forms sadly. Thanks to the Life of Horses Orb, Terrakion gets to OHKOed standard bulky Extremekiller and Palkia after Stealth Rock damage. Stone Edge is still used the same way but now it can smash through even Giratina-O at +2 with Stealth Rock support from Dino Horse, or the snake ate a Dragon Claw from Dino Horse beforehand. Rock Polish lets Trojan Horse sweep like one of the best horses ever and thanks to his Rocky built, he can take on ExtremeSpeeds fairly easily and Fighting + Stone have near perfect coverage.

Santa Horse is Coming to Uberland!
Santa Horse (Cobalion) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- Close Combat
- Stealth Rock
- Swords Dance

Coballion, the head of the musketeer trio, previously he is not well known in Ubers, but now...he is ready to RAMPAGE! Don't think wrongly and just assume this is some Santa Claus horsy, Coballion fights like a true man, a big horse and even eats like one. Not long ago, when land animals fought with birds, Coballion was the leader, he bravely brought up nasty Stealthy Rocks to harm the birds, but sadly he got roasted alive by the Bird King. Today, he only comes out on Christmas eve, the time when Ho-Oh goes into his slumbering state.

Stealth Rock is as mentioned earlier, crucial to win in any battle, especially against birds. You might think only dinosaurs smash their heads right? Nope, Coballion has an IRON head, a powerful one indeed, if you hate standard Jirachi's flimsy headbutt, then you will not enjoy this hefty horse's boosted headbutts. That's not all, you have 30% of having a heart attack and not moving at all when rammed, so you better not under speed this horse. Close Combat is because this horse is a ferocious combatant, he fights without fear even against monstrous dinosaurs such as Tyranitar, although trying to take out Dino Horse Groudon can be a bit too ridiculous. Iron Head helps wear down Giratina-O, a devilish bird who can take down entire land animals, and has good neutral coverage in general.
Unique to its kind, Coballion is a master of Swords, he can even dance his Sword in just one turn and double up his shabby Attack stat to over Groudon's level. If you dare stab Coballion in the back, he can immediately sense your dark deeds and gets even stronger! Coballion is really unique, that typing grants it useful resistances to Ice- and Dragon-types, although he is a bit allergic to opposing Close Combats due to his real heart: he is actually a coward inside.

+2 Iron Heads and Close Combats might not OHKO much, but it has a decent chance to break past offensive teams, because Coballion is surprisingly fast, but all horses are fast anyway, if you are slow, you are no horse! Even Palkia the space ruler and Rapidash the race horse failed to outrun Coballion in a race. Thanks to the resistance to ExtremeSpeed, this horse can act as a last minute Extremekiller check, although Close Combat will not OHKO sadly.

Lum Berry is because this horse is no joke, he doesn't like Darkrai trying to Sleep him, he wants to getup that rocks as soon as possible.

Horse from Mount Olympus
Zebra (Zebstrika) @ Life Orb
Trait: Lightningrod
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Thunder
- Overheat
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Charge Beam

Remember those wild asses running in Asia? African Zebras are way COOLER. This isn't any ordinary Zebra, he came all the way the Cloud Castle, where he managed to learn quite a few zapping skills such as Thunderbolt! However, those Zebras are for pussies, Zebras who go to war, use Thunders for their main attack, as such you can call them THUNDERBRAs.

Thunder is the main attack, and is pretty easy to see why: They are Thunderbras of course you need Thunder. Their whole body is electric, and its white with black stripes because he was originally a white ass until he got burnt by Zapdos's Thunder in the war between birds and horses. As such, Zebstrika never forgets that event, he got so angry, he frequently Overheats, temperature so high, it can even melt Ferrothorn in the rain as long as he has Charged his Beam. Funnily, Overheat is his most powerful move in the sun but he has to retreat after use. Charge Beam helps boost Zebra's pathetic base Special Attack to more respectable levels and helps somewhat in a mini sweep thanks to this Zebra's SPEED, if you don't know, it outruns even superstar Starmie.

As with most horses, Zebstrika n is born with hidden talents, Hidden Power Ice squashes Rayquaza after rocks and it is Zebra's best option against stupid Giratinas and the Lati birds. Lightning Rod since like a shitty ability at first but now, it boosts Special Attack by one stage, giving mr.Zebra a chance to snatch a free boost and forcing the opponent out, especially if they are choiced.

Despite his Timid nature, Zebra is not easy to tame and he fires off Thunders without warning, usually crippling something on the way due to that sexy paralysis rate.

Gay Horse
Unicorn (Virizion) @ Life Orb
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Close Combat
- Swords Dance
- X-Scissor

Now we have seen Zebras and Reindeers, now we have a hybrid between some sort of mutant horse and a unicorn. Virizion is a girl, unlike most warhorses, she is one of a horse, and fights like a true wonder-horse.
Don't even try to bully her with dirty attacks such as Pursuit or you will regret it since she has Justified.

Leaf Blade is because she lives in the forest and loves to cut leaves for practice, apparently it slashes through fat Whales like knife through fat. Leaf Blades also slashes dinosaurs for major damage, even Groudon hates it. Close Combat is standard on most horses, and even as a mare, Virizion has all the tools to combat opponents up close.

Just like fellow horse Coballion, Virizion can dance with her Swords, patching up that low Attack stat to amazing levels. X-Scissor is pretty much filler but it helps to smack potential Lati switch ins, and this is helped even further when most Latias now run just enough for sharky Garchomp.

As for bulk, Virizion is one of the few horses who can actually tank a hit from Kyogre the fat whale. Unlike shrang's Virizion, this one has no fat, she hits them hard and fast, and sadly dies fast as well. As a bonus, she is immune to Leech Seed, allowing her to blow past Ferrothorn with her Fighting moves.

Mother of all Horses!
Mother Horse (Arceus) @ Silk Scarf
Trait: Multitype
Happiness: 1
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- ExtremeSpeed
- Shadow Claw
- Frustration

Just like what the name says, this is really the mother of all horses. Every single horse originates from Arceus, and it was he who shaped the metagame with his horse powers.

Ugh, sadly Arceus isn't a happy horse at all, at a pathetic 1 happiness, he loves to use Frustration and cause insane damage to everything, if you don't know, Frustration can OHKO max HP Kyogre at +2 without any prior damage. Silk Scarf boosts his power further and he has ExtremeSpeed, nothing can match his Speed when it comes to that.

Like your standard Ekiller, Arceus sweeps mid to late game and is the bulkiest horse around. He sets up on Scarfmon such as Palkia stuck on Thunder, choiced Kyogre on Ice Beam and even things like Scarf Terrakion's Stone Edge. Swords Dance is just plain simple, use it and sweep the opponent, Shadow Claw is just for Giratina and Ghost Arceus, it is pretty useless otherwise as even ExtremeSpeed does more damage to Lugia. Thanks to the Frustration Arceus has, even Support Groudon doesn't like coming in too often and it will 2HKOed easily. He's king, and of course he's an Adamant nature, one who never listens to others because he rules the horse army. If you are more interested in the devil form of Arceus, look no further than shrang's sun horses!

And oh, you can't hold your horses when using Arceus, he goes on a rampage almost nothing can stop him. Well, those flying birds are damn annoying, especially when they are made of solid Steel, this is why Zebras are amazing because they fry Steel birds.

Half Fish, Half Dragon=Horse of the Sea
Sea Horse (Kingdra) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Surf
- Dragon Pulse
- Draco Meteor

What is his fish doing here in this team, right? Nope, Kingdra might look like a fish but he is infact a horse!

Sea horses a still horses, not fishes dude. If you still think it is a fish, why does the name of the creature has a HORSE in it. I mean even its pre-evolution is named HORSEa, so scientifically it is a horse who lives in the sea.

Hydro Pump because Kingdra loves pumping up Water from his snout well not Octozooka because that is too weak and never hits. Pump has 120 base power and when combined with rain, it has insane power. Surf is used when Kingdra tries not to miss, because those overpowered pumps will miss 1 out of 5 chances, which is just horseshit when it misses at a critical turn if you ask me.

Kingdra has the Pulse of a Dragon, and it smacks his fellow Dragons with super effective power! OHKOing even Palkia and Rayquaza, both monstrously powerful Dragons because this Horse is holding a Spectacles, pushing that power even higher. Well, Kingdra is weak without his item, Specs and the power of rain just completely changed that. Being locked into one move isn't so bad when all you need to do is spam Hydro and even badass Ferrothorn is 3HKOed, but those nutcases are better dealt with by fellow horses Virizion or Coballion.

Sometimes Dragon Pulse just isn't cool enough, you need something stronger, and this is when you use DRACO meteor. While not as powerful as the birds, Kingdra's Draco Meteor is still strong enough to OHKO most dragons including max HP Giratina, a very impressive feat as no other horses can do that.

Water Horse (Kyogre) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Ice Beam
- Water Spout
- Surf
- Thunder

At last, this is the coolest, biggest horse ever, except for Dino Horse possibly. Welcome KYOGRE, the king of whalesHORSES. This time he is wearing his Scarf to mop up dangerous sweepers such as that psychotic cat called Mewtwo and Darkrai who tries to spread bad dreams.
One might think this ain't horse, its an Orca Whale. Ever heard of a Water Horse? Yeah you saw that in movies, those one of a kind creatures? Yes, this Kyogre is a unique horse and he is related to that Loch Ness Horse you know, no other horse can match his power and fat!

Water Spout is the best spamming move around and don't be fooled by his Modest nature, Kyogre is a powerful horse, capable of KOing even bulky bird Lugia in 2 hits. Ice Beam is for freezing those damn birds such as Latios and Shaymin-S. Kyogre can't Pump out water like Kingdra, he needs to Surf to hit accurately. Oh yeah, this horse is weird, he is a water horse but he can use THUNDER, even stronger than Thunderbra's one due to that sexy Special Attack stat. And Thunders are for zapping opposing water horses and smacking Palkia hard on the switch, sometimes that paralysis helps. He was originally holding a Water Gem, but shrang wasted it by hitting a Ludicolo, so now he is using his Scarf instead.

Last time, Kyogre had a Calm Mind but now, he has no more time to waste and just fire off tsunamis everywhere, although horses can swim, you don't want to get drown by this huge horse!

shrang edit: Apparently, I found out that whales are related evolutionarily to the hippo after diverging about 60 million years ago. Since Hippos are hoofed mammals, also known as "River Horses", this further solidifies Kyogre's status as a horse. Here's a nice diagram: http://evolution.berkeley.edu/evolibrary/images/evograms/whale_evo.jpg

shrang's version:

Kyogre @ Water Gem ***Water Horse***
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 232 HP / 252 SpA / 24 Spe
Nature: Modest
- Calm Mind
- Water Spout
- Hydro Pump
- Thunder

I used some different sets to trickroom, like he did on the sun team. Firstly, my Water horse was the Calm Mind Water Spout version, since it so easily lures out those silly barbed plants and kills them with a swift +1 Water Gem boosted Water Spout or Hydro Pump, allowing the seahorse to have clear track to run on. Fat pink blobs are also considerably damage, never will they suspect a Kyogre to do over 90% to their fat asses. Hydro Pump is used when Water Spout gets too weak, so Kyogre can still drown those plants and blobs even if its health it really low.

Arceus @ Choice Band ***Mother Horse***
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Nature: Adamant
- ExtremeSpeed
- Trick
- Swords Dance
- Dragon Claw

My Mother horse set was different as well. Instead of Frustration, I decided to use Choice Band TrickSD Extreme Horse, with its ability to 2HKO opposing Mother Horses after Stealth Rock, while being able to cripple annoying ass Giratinas which requires Horse Meteors to bury. Dragon Claw was used in the last slot so Mother Horse wasn't completely helpless aganst that ghostly serpent Giratina-O, while still hitting Dialga for decent damage. Choice Band ExtremeSpeed is extremely powerful, and between seahorse and Mother Horse, nothing is getting past. I often like to watch silly chickens attempt to sweep with Speed Boost. No matter how fast you run, you will NEVER escape Mother Horse's wrath.

Cobalion @ Expert Belt ***Santa Horse***
Ability: Justified
EVs: 28 Atk / 228 SpA / 252 Spe
Nature: Naive
- Stealth Rock
- Volt Switch
- Close Combat
- Hidden Power Ice

Finally, my Santa Horse used a more supportive set. I'm not a fan of the LumSD set, since Giratina usually ends up stopping it anyway. I ended up using the mixed set from OU with Stealth Rock stuck on. This set allows Cobalion to check not so Jolly Mother Horses, while OHKOing big green Rayquazas with HP Ice. Finally, in the spirit of horses, Cobalion can use Volt Switch to quickly retreat and deal damage at the same time.

Finally, here are some replays of the amazing horses:

This is one of the best RMTs I have seen, comparable to birds IMO ( Although I wrote some of those lol, shrang was the original creator ). Not only does this RMT reflects the current state of the Ubers ladder, but we picked the best horses out of the best.

It shows the power of Zebstrika, an underrated threat who not only outgallops Garchomp but Latios as well. The main niche of Zebra is to switch in on Thunders, pretty common because that is the only way for most things to KO Kyogre. I really like obscure threats and horses aren't even weak to Ferrothorn lol, because Virizion from both set of horses stomps it.

Great team, and I am rating shrang's team not mine. I just know horses seem a bit weak to Spikes but sadly there are no Spike Horses :[ Thankfully most of the horses cannot be setup on by those Spikes users.

For anyone wondering, Kyogre is a horse, and as shown in the picture shrang posted, it is confirmed 100% horse. Groudon is a Dino Horse, a huge horse indeed. The reason for Swords Dance on Coballion is to actually threaten stall teams, setting up on Forretress, Chansey and things like Rock Arceus is always fun. Even Forretress is easily 2HKOed by boosted Close Combats and it gives me a chance to get past Giratina-O easier, especially if I flinch them.

Frustration is the strongest move available on Arceus, since it does not get Double Edge which is funny. I just didn't like CB Arceus that much, because you have to Trick away your item first before attempting a sweep. That's the reason why I used the SD set, and Dragon Claw does not hit Ghost Arceus hard, you should consider using Shadow Claw over it, although Giratina and Dialga takes more damage from Dragon Claw which is nice I guess but I prefer using Shadow Claw more since Ghost Arceus is really hard to break, and you have Kingdra for Giratina, Virizion and Coballion should beat Dialga anyway.

One thing I would like to say is we tried Keldeo before, and he wasn't that good. Removed for Virizion who can take on Kyogre better. I like Giga Drain on Calm Mind Virizion more, because it helps to recover a bit of health while sapping those Groudons or Kyogre, sadly its weak but Giga Drain saved me in some matches.

DISCLAIMER: this rate will probably be short and all

rating sun variant:

timid tailwind reshiram outspeeds and OHKOs everyone except terrakion. timid is possible in case he cant set up tailwind for other battles
and the rare and situational (and rather shit) ninjask baton passing to specs reshiram, which heavily threatens to OHKO your entire team. your best shot:

252SpAtk Choice Specs Turboblaze Reshiram (+SAtk) Blue Flare in Sun vs 4HP/0SpDef Terrakion (Neutral): 98% - 115% (318 - 375 HP). Guaranteed 2HKO. 89% chance to OHKO.

turboblaze ignores flash fire, and ninjask can just stall out stone edge between sub and protect, since prediction goes both ways. (essentially u lack a reshiram switch in) reshiram can also come in on rapidash not using drill run, terrakion using x-scissor, and virizion I guess.
so I'm suggesting waterceus or SDef ogre > ghostceus. SDef kyogre seems to fit better as it can absorb status from lugia and giratina, while lugia can survive ghostceus' judgement at full hp and status. they also lessen your kyogre weakness.

Just a brief breakdown of the rain version of this team...I have some pedantic notes:

1. Make sure Kingdra and Kyogre have their attack IV's set to 0 to protect them from swagger mons (they are rare, but unfortunately exist).

2. I feel Kingdra needs Ice Beam. I nixed dragon pulse for it, to deal with Arceus-Grass and some other mons. I strongly agree with the decision to run both Surf and Hydro Pump though. Missing Hydro Pump on stuff like Darkrai and Mewtwo really sucks.

3. I understand this is a horses team, but man Zebstrika has been disappointing so far. It's lack of power bites and it is set-up bait for Calm Mind Arceus if it cannot get lucky with paralysis.

4. Set your Arceus to 20 EV's. A lot of stronger players run the 16 speed spread and speed creeping them is awesome.

Love the team, and Cobalion is one of the most pleasant surprises on it. It can take hits well and hit exceptionally hard after a Swords Dance. I may use it on one of my own teams down the line. Will Luvdisc this.
