Tournament rules:

• Ubers are banned, this includes Garchomp, Shaymin-S, Latios and Latias
• The move Torment is banned, because it’s bugged
  
• The pokemon itself has to have a set in the strategy dex from smogon.com for DP ( or DPPt off course) , hence you can use Porygon2 and Porygon-Z, Gallade and Gardevoir...
• Shaymin land form is allowed
• You can only use one Rotom-form during the entire tournament
• You can only use one Wormadam-form during the entire tournament
• You can only use one Unown-form during the entire tournament
• You can only use one Gastrodon-form during the entire tournament
• You can only use one Spinda-form during the entire tournament
• You can only use pokemon that you didn’t use in this tournament already.

General rules:

• Sleep clause
• Freeze clause
• Evasion clause
• OHKO clause
• Self-KO clause
• Battle time-out must be on
• Species clause
• You aren’t allowed to scout, because you’d know which pokemon the person can’t use anymore(not used because of finals).
• All battles must happen on shoddy-battle
• Send me the log of your battle
• When you send me your team, use the right lay-out

• If you fail to follow the rules or you don’t get your match done in time, your name will be put in a pink colour. This doesn’t have any effect. But if you fail to follow the rules again, you will be disqualified.

black: has an approved team
bolded: winner

1. 24.Snorlax versus 9.Gouki

The finals are here! This are our finalists after 4 exciting rounds. Who has the best pokemon left, combined with the best playing stile? Who thinks his opponents has to have used all his Scizor counters and is preparing for a sweep? Why am I asking these questions?

After this round, I'll try to give a quick overview of the tournament. Did a lot of people use OU or UU in the beginning of the tournament? Who used all the hard hitters right away? Were there a lot of theme teams like Sandstorm of Trick Room? We'll see after the finals.

Won against snorlax in a really nice game, although i did break the timer clause!

my team was not that good, and his was well thought out

also, the timer clause thing really confused me, since it said halfway thru the fight that gouki exhausted his time, and yet the fight continued. very confusing

regardless, it was a good battle and im just happy getting this far. gg again

This is were I talk about the teams used. First of all, there were 5 rounds, which means 5 teams. We have enough OU pokemon to use(almost 50?), so UU wasn't really necessairy. They were used a lot though. (I even recieved a team consisting of only UU, which proved that you shouldn't save all OU, leading to UU vs OU and a loss.)

Because some pokemon are better used with some kind of theme, I saw a lot of hail, sandstorm and rain dance teams passing by.

Most people didn't have to worry about Scizor in the last few rounds because the first 2 rounds were full of him. He was used the most in the first rounds.

The number of stall, offensive and balanced teams seemed quite balanced (2x balanced, sorry). Some used Obi-stall or stalled with Abomasnow, some used hyper-offensive rain dance with Kingdra Swiftly Swimming through the arena.

Sorry if the review was a bit short, but I don't think I could tell more... If you feel you should add anything, feel free to do so.
On a side note, I really had a great time organising and managing this tournament, thanks guys! I hope you had fun to. I realize that sometimes I took this a bit to serious though
