Chess League Round 1 (Please read entire thread)

You can still sign up!

Submit your games for game of the round when you are done!

Start your games by PMing your opponent. You have as much time as said in the rules to complete your game.

Please refer to http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54277 for rules. You may sign up at any time, although you will be starting off at 0 points.

After some thought, I have decided to run a point based circuit, with wins being worth 1 point, draws worth half a point, and losses worth no points. If their is a short draw problem then I will make wins worth more. There will be no tournament, so anyone can join any round. Also, if two games are done early then I might pair winners and losers early. Check this thread often!

Are there any suggestions for themes for future rounds? It would be cool if we had some more ideas then crazy gambits.

Knight is N (ex. Nc5)

capturing is anything like Qxd4, but not sure bout pawn captures.

pawn captures can be listed either as dxe5 (pawn on d4 takes pawn or piece on e5), de5, or de. En passant capturing is listed as normal (de6 e.p. would be pawn on d5 takes pawn on e5 En passant), but with an e.p. next to the move.
