Alright, Fireburn (if he has time), me, bojangles, and Jibaku are working on this together. For now, we are going to have an outline of the Pokémon before we start posting the content.

FYI, we are dividing the threat list into 4 sections; Top, Medium, Obscure, and Defensive. note that a Pokémon from the Top section doesn't have to be "better" than a Pokémon from the medium section per say. This is just organizing the priority of what to prepare for in Ubers, whether its due to high usage, high sweeping capabilties, or any other important factors. The Defensive section shouldn't have to be explained obviously.

Parasect is a horrible Pokemon. It will not be added.
Tangrowth and Exeggutor maaaybe, but I'd like to see them being tested first before going into the threat list.
Quagsire isn't a threat at all to be honest. It stops Kyogre and does other few things but when you're making a team it should cover it up anyways, given its large amount of counters.
Jolteon - No
Primeape - Possibly, but I don't consider Primeape to be an actual threat than it is a glue against Darkrai. If you can handle Lucario, you should be able to handle Primeape as well.

Anyone think Shedinja should be under "Obscure"?? Some people use stall teams with their spin-blocker as Shedinja, and it is the only Pokemon that can wall every Kyogre set unless it has Toxic or something.
 
But don´t Forretress sometimes carry Payback to hit ghosts?
It does little to smack Giratina, but does it have better options?
Anyway, it hist quite many Ubers for super effective damage, and if Shedinja happen to be in the way...
Actually, even if Forretress has nothing to hurt Shedinja with, it can always set up spikes or toxic spikes (worst fear propably being Shedinja´s Swords dance attempts).

... mention, if I´m wrong, but I have gotten an impression of people almost only carrying Forretress as spinner in Ubers.

Darkrai


Type: Dark
Base Stats: 70 HP/90 Atk/90 Def/135 SpA/90 SpD/125 Spe
Ability: Bad Dreams

A fearsome sweeper that can utilize Dark Void, a 80% accurate Sleep inducing move, to send even would-be counters a-snoozing, giving it ample time to make use of Nasty Plot to set up for a deadly sweep. Darkrai's superb Special Attack stat is nicely complemented by a large array of powerful attacks, including Dark Pulse, Thunder, Spacial Rend, Focus Blast, and Ice Beam. Darkrai can also surprise opponents with Swords Dance boosted Sucker Punches, Focus Punches, and Brick Breaks coming off of its decent Attack stat.



Deoxys-A

Type: Psychic
Base Stats: 50 HP/180 Atk/20 Def/180 SpA/20 SpD/150 Spe
Ability: Pressure

This Psychic-type Pokemon, despite having absolutely pitiful defensive stats, boasts the highest offensive stats of any Pokemon, and with access to moves such as Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, Thunder, Grass Knot, Superpower, ExtremeSpeed, Signal Beam, and the elemental punches Deoxys-A is capable of 2HKOing anything in the game at worst. Deoxys-A can also perform well as a suicide lead to get up Stealth Rock and/or Spikes quickly and efficiently, and it can also surprise enemy attackers with Counter or Mirror Coat.



Deoxys-D

Type: Psychic
Base Stats: 50 HP/70 Atk/160 Def/70 SpA/160 SpD/90 Spe
Ability: Pressure

The defensive counterpart of Deoxys-A. Despite having low HP, Deoxys-D's amazing Defense and Special Defense stats combined with reliable healing in Recover makes it an excellent general purpose tank as well as a counter to several top threats, such as Dragon Dance and Swords Dance Rayquaza as well as Mixed Dialga. Deoxys-D can use its defenses to shrug off hits while laying down Stealth Rock or Spikes, spreading around status with Toxic or Thunder Wave, or by using Seismic Toss and/or Night Shade to deal reliable damage to opponents while bypassing Deoxys-D's low offensive stats. Deoxys-D can also use Calm Mind to potentially cause a bit of damage to the opponent's team, with access to Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, Thunder, Grass Knot, and Signal Beam to give it wide type coverage to help make up for its low offensive stats. Deoxys-D can also use Taunt to stop set-up sweepers as well as Forretress and Wobbuffet, both of whom may try to set-up on it.



Deoxys-S


Type: Psychic
Base Stats: 50 HP/95 Atk/90 Def/95 SpA/90 SpD/180 Spe
Ability: Pressure

The fastest Pokemon in the game, Deoxys-S makes for a fantastic suicide lead. With access to both Stealth Rock and Spikes, it can use its tremendous Speed stat to possibly lay down multiple layers of entry hazards before going down. Deoxys-S also has the fastest Taunt in the game, which can easily shut down enemy supporters or set-up sweepers. If one should wish, Deoxys-S can use its great movepool (Identical to Deoxys-A's movepool) to function as an excellent revenge killer and late game cleaner.



Dialga

Type: Steel / Dragon
Base Stats: 100 HP/120 Atk/120 Def/150 SpA/100 SpD/90 Spe
Ability: Pressure

Dialga is one of the most threatening offensive forces in Ubers, as both of its attacking stats are very high and it has an extremely wide movepool to complement it. Dialga is most commonly seen as a special attacker backed by Life Orb, Choice Specs, or Choice Scarf, with its special movepool including Dragon Pulse, Draco Meteor, Fire Blast, Thunder, Earth Power, Aura Sphere, and Flash Cannon. Dialga also has access to physical moves such as Outrage, Earthquake, Shadow Claw, Dragon Claw, and Brick Break, allowing it to become a very threatening mixed attacker, or even a pure physical attacker when Bulk Up or a Choice Band is also in use. Dialga is no slouch defensively either. Its very good defensive stats combined with arguably the best defensive type combination in the game as well as access to supporting moves such as Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave, and Toxic allows Dialga to become an excellent supporting tank, despite Rest being its only form of recovery.



Garchomp


Type: Dragon / Ground
Base Stats: 108 HP/130 Atk/95 Def/80 SpA/85 SpD/102 Spe
Ability: Sand Veil

Garchomp has one of the best offensive type combinations in the game. The coverage provided by Garchomp's dual STABs is easily taken advantage of thanks to its high Attack and Speed stats. Swords Dance makes Garchomp into an extremely potent sweeper, with powerful attacks such as Dragon Claw, Outrage, Earthquake, Fire Fang, Stone Edge, Crunch, and Aqua Tail offering tons of power and great type coverage. Garchomp can also take advantage of a Choice Band to hit hard without needed set-up or a Choice Scarf to become a fast, deadly revenge killer.



Giratina

Type: Ghost / Dragon
Base Stats: 150 HP/100 Atk/120 Def/100 SpA/120 SpD/90 Spe
Ability: Pressure

Giratina's colossal defenses allow it to serve as a great wall and spinblocker. Despite Giratina's defenses being equal, it is generally seen as a physical wall thanks to access to Will-o-Wisp, allowing it to cripple the majority of physical attackers in Ubers. Most of Giratina's weaknesses also tend to come from special attacks, thus meaning that Giratina would struggle to wall the powerful special attacks of Ubers. Giratina can also hit hard with its decent offenses and STAB Dragon Claw, Dragon Pulse, Outrage, Shadow Claw, and/or Shadow Ball, and can even use Calm Mind to become a threatening set-up presence. Giratina can also surprise opponents with a Choice Band or Choice Specs set to hit hard with attacks such as Thunder, Earthquake, Shadow Force, Earth Power, Aura Sphere, and Stone Edge in addition to the other STAB moves mentioned previously.



Giratina-O

Type: Ghost / Dragon
Base Stats: 150 HP/120 Atk/100 Def/120 SpA/100 SpD/90 Spe
Ability: Pressure

Giratina's more offensive cousin, and perhaps the best offensive spinblocker in the game, Giratina-O boasts powerful Ghost- and Dragon-type STAB, which together hit a large portion of the Ubers tier for super effective damage. Three immunities, immunity to Trick and Knock Off, and incredible bulk allow Giratina-O to switch in rather easily, despite having weaknesses to some of the most common attack types in Ubers, with those types being Dragon, Ice, Ghost, and Dark. Giratina-O can make use of Calm Mind along with Dragon Pulse, Shadow Ball, Aura Sphere, Thunder, and Earth Power to hit very hard on special side, as well as Dragon Claw, Shadow Claw, Shadow Force, Stone Edge, and Earthquake to smash things of the physical end of the spectrum. High power attacks such as Draco Meteor and Outrage, combined with great attacking stats, also allow Giratina-O to be a powerful mixed attacker. In addition, Giratina-O is one of the few Ubers that gets a priority move: Shadow Sneak. With this move, Giratina-O can serve as a great check to Latias, Latios, Mewtwo, and Deoxys.



Groudon

Type: Ground
Base Stats: 100 HP/150 Atk/140 Def/100 SpA/90 SpD/90 Spe
Ability: Drought

Groudon's extremely good Attack and good defenses allow it to be one of the most threatening physical attackers in Ubers. Groudon learns powerful attacks such as Earthquake, Dragon Claw, Stone Edge, and Fire Punch that offer good type coverage as well, and when combined with a Choice Band, Swords Dance to boost Attack even more, or Rock Polish to make up for Groudon's below average Speed stat, the Continent Pokemon will certainly be very hard to stop. Groudon is also a popular recipient for Uber Baton Pass teams thanks to its sky-high Attack stat and its excellent type coverage. Groudon is also a very capable physical wall, making an excellent answer to threats such as Metagross, Garchomp, Rayquaza, Lucario, and most other physical sweepers thanks to its high Defense stat. Access to Toxic, Thunder Wave, Stealth Rock, and even Lave Plume to potentially spread burns allow Groudon to be an excellent supporter as well. Thanks to is ability, Drought, Groudon brings everlasting sunlight to the battle. This makes Groudon the bane of Rain teams as well as a massive boon to Ubers Sunny Day teams. Pokemon such as Heatran, Ho-Oh, Jumpluff, and Shiftry all become massive threats thanks to Groudon's sunlight.



Ho-Oh


Type: Fire / Flying
Base Stats: 106 HP/130 Atk/90 Def/110 SpA/154 SpD/90 Spe
Ability: Pressure

Ho-Oh's STAB attacks, Sacred Fire and Brave Bird, alone make it nearly impossible to wall, and when combined with other attacks such as Earthquake and Punishment, switching in anything will be a daunting prospect. That, combined with Ho-Oh's awesome Special Defense stat and Recover or Roost for reliable recovery, it can be very tough to take down if Stealth Rock is not up on Ho-Oh's side of the field. Ho-Oh, should you choose, can also try its hand at special attacking with Calm Mind, Fire Blast, Thunder, and Shadow Ball.



Kyogre

Type: Water
Base Stats: 100 HP/100 Atk/90 Def/150 SpA/140 SpD/90 Spe
Ability: Drizzle

The #1 used Pokemon in Ubers, and for good reason. Kyogre's fantastic Special Attack stat, combined with rain-fueled Water STAB (thanks to Drizzle) along with Ice Beam and Thunder for nearly unresisted coverage makes Kyogre incredibly hard to switch into. Kyogre can use Calm Mind to boost the power of its attacks even more, Choice Scarf to make up for its below average Speed stat, or Choice Specs to turn it into an instant offensive juggernaut. Choice Scarf and Choice Specs also allows Kyogre to abuse Water Spout, which reaches a jaw-dropping 337.5 base power when Kyogre is at 100% HP, factoring in STAB and the rain. Kyogre is also very strong defensively, as it can wall some of the top threats of Ubers such as Mewtwo, Darkrai, Groudon, some Rayquaza, some Garchomp, and some Ho-Oh when defensively EVed. Toxic and Thunder Wave also allows Kyogre to mess up many of its common counters, such as Latias and Palkia. The rain Kyogre provides, courtesy of Drizzle, allow fuels many dangerous threats such as Kingdra, Palkia, and Manaphy.



Latias

Type: Dragon / Psychic
Base Stats: 80 HP/80 Atk/90 Def/110 SpA/130 SpD/110 Spe
Ability: Levitate

Latias' success in Ubers is attributed to its special hold item: Soul Dew. This item boosts Latias' Special Attack and Special Defense stats to extremely high levels, allowing it to be a powerful sweeper with Calm Mind and STAB Dragon Pulse, Grass Knot, and Thunder. Latias also gets Wish, Toxic, Thunder Wave, Dual Screens, and Safeguard as support options, and when combined with reliable healing in Recover, Latias can be a sturdy special tank as well. Refresh in tandem with Calm Mind and Recover also allows Latias to get past some special walls, such as Blissey.

Latios

Type: Dragon / Psychic
Base Stats: 80 HP/90 Atk/80 Def/130 SpA/110 SpD/110 Spe
Ability: Levitate

Latios also gets to use Soul Dew, and he is essentially a frailer but stronger version of Latias. He gets many of the same attacks as Latias (although Latios usually uses Draco Meteor more than Latias), but Latios receives Memento and Dragon Dance in lieu of Wish. Dragon Dance allows Latios to use a mixed or physical set to surprise opponents, or simply for a Speed boost to outrun common Choice Scarf users. Memento gives Latios an advantage over Latias when using Dual Screens, as with it Latios can sacrifice itself to let a deadly sweeper come in for free and start to rampage through the opponent's team.

Lugia

Type: Psychic / Flying
Base Stats: 106 HP/90 Atk/130 Def/90 SpA/154 SpD/110 Spe
Ability: Pressure

Lugia is one of the sturdiest walls in the game, boasting incredible defensive stats as well as a wide supporting movepool. Lugia can easily wall things such as Groudon, Garchomp, Rayquaza, Metagross, and special attackers such as Dialga, Palkia, and some Giratina-O with ease while spreading around status in the form of Toxic and Thunder Wave. Lugia can also use Reflect and Light Screen to boost its impressive defenses even more, Whirlwind to shuffle the opponents team around while possibly spreading damage for entry hazards, and Recover or Roost to reliably heal itself. Lugia can also surprise opponents with Calm Mind along with attacks such as Ice Beam, Thunder, Earth Power, Aeroblast, and Dragon Pulse, turning it into an offensive threat. Lugia also gets Trick, allowing it to potentially cripple one of its counters by Tricking a Choice item onto the counter.

Manaphy

Type: Water
Base Stats: 100 HP/100 Atk/100 Def/100 SpA/100 SpD/100 Spe
Ability: Hydration

While Manaphy at first may seem to be outclassed by Kyogre and Palkia, Manaphy has a few advantages that should not be overlooked. Tail Glow allows Manaphy to set-up faster than both Kyogre and Palkia, and when combined with powerful attacks such as Surf, Ice Beam, Grass Knot, and Energy Ball, Manaphy can beat a strong offensive threat. Manaphy's ability, Hydration, allows it to shrug off status in the rain as well, meaning that it can use Rest to restore all of its HP and then wake up instantly thanks to Hydration, provided it is raining. Manaphy also has some interesting support options available to it, such as Toxic, Dual Screens, and U-turn for scouting the opponent's team. Manaphy isn't seen much, but it's not to be underestimated.
Mew

Type: Psychic
Base Stats: 100 HP/100 Atk/100 Def/100 SpA/100 SpD/100 Spe
Ability: Synchronize

Mew is one of the most versatile Pokemon in the game, but it is most commonly seen as a Baton Passer. The reason for this is that Mew can Baton Pass +2 of any stat, it gets Taunt to stop phasing attempts, and it can take a few its with s good defenses while setting up. All of this makes Mew the most threatening Baton Passer in the game, and a successful pass by Mew could make or break a game. In addition, Mew is an excellent supporter with access to Trick Room, Toxic, Thunder Wave, Will-o-Wisp, Hypnosis, Dual Screens, Stealth Rock, and U-turn for scouting purposes. Mew can also use its excellent offensive movepool, including Fire Blast, Thunder, Blizzard, Dark Pulse, Earthquake, Shadow Claw, Explosion, and much more in conjunction with Rock Polish, Swords Dance, and/or Nasty Plot to possibly sweep an enemy team, but generally Mew is outclassed as a sweeper by Mewtwo.

Mewtwo

Type: Psychic
Base Stats: 106 HP/110 Atk/90 Def/154 SpA/90 SpD/130 Spe
Ability: Pressure

Mewtwo main strength is in its versatility, as it excels as being a sweeper, supporter, and a wall. Mewtwo's prodigious Special Attack and Speed coupled with a wide array of attacks such as Calm Mind, Aura Sphere, Fire Blast, Thunder, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, Grass Knot, and many more make Mewtwo a very frightening special sweeper. It can also take advantage of items such as Life Orb, Choice Specs, and Choice Scarf to boost its sweeping potential even more. Selfdestruct and Focus Punch let Mewtwo get around special walls as well, and its good Attack coupled with Bulk Up, Ice Punch, Brick Break, Earthquake, and Fire Punch let it sweep on the physical side too. Mewtwo can also be an excellent supporter with options such as Taunt, Recover, Reflect, Light Screen, Toxic, Will-O-Wisp, and Trick.

Palkia

Type: Water / Dragon
Base Stats: 90 HP/120 Atk/100 Def/150 SpA/120 SpD/100 Spe
Ability: Pressure

Palkia is known for having very good offense stats as well as being one of the few Pokemon not 2HKOed by a Water Spout from a Choice Specs Kyogre. Palkia's incredible Special Attack lets it use its special movepool, which includes Dragon Pulse, Spacial Rend, Draco Meteor, Fire Blast, Thunder, Earth Power, Aura Sphere, Surf, and Hydro Pump, to wrek havoc on its foes when using a Lustrous Orb, Choice Specs, or Choice Scarf. Palkia, like Dialga, also has access to physical moves such as Outrage, Aqua Tail, Earthquake, Shadow Claw, Dragon Claw, and Focus Punch, allowing it to become a very threatening physical or mixed sweeper.

Rayquaza

Type: Dragon / Flying
Base Stats: 105 HP/150 Atk/90 Def/150 SpA/90 SpD/95 Spe
Ability: Air Lock

Rayquaza is one of the most powerful offensive threats in Ubers. It boasts incredibly high offenses on both Attack and Special Attack, and these high stats will wreak utter devastation on an opponent's team when combined with high powered moves such as Draco Meteor, Outrage, Fire Blast, Overheat, Earthquake, ExtremeSpeed, and Brick Break. Rayquaza can also make use of Swords Dance and Dragon Dance alongside Life Orb to become an offensive juggernaut in just one turn, or it can just use Choice Band or Choice Specs to hit hard without having to set up. Air Lock, Rayquaza's unique ability, also makes it a very threatening presence to weather teams by nullifying the effects of rain, sunlight, and sandstorm.

Shaymin-S

Type: Grass / Flying
Base Stats: 100 HP/103 Atk/75 Def/120 SpA/75 SpD/127 Spe
Ability: Serene Grace

Shaymin-S is well known for its Serene Grace ability, which boosts Air Slash to a 60% flinch rate and Seed Flare's chance of lowering the opponent's Special Defense by two stages to 80%. When combined with offensive coverage moves such as Earth Power, Hidden Power Fire, or Hidden Power Ice, Shaymin-S can be a menacing offensive threat with or without Choice Specs, Choice Scarf, or Life Orb. In addition, Shaymin-S is also the fastest user of the Substitute and Leech Seed combo, allowing it to stall out many Pokemon while keeping itself at optimal health.

Wobbuffet

Type: Psychic
Base Stats: 190 HP/33 Atk/58 Def/33 SpA/58 SpD/33 Spe
Ability: Shadow Tag

Although Wobbuffet's stats are bad in everything sans HP and it learns a grand total of 8 moves, it is much more threatening then it looks. Wobbuffet's unique ability, Shadow Tag, allows it to trap any Pokemon in the battle except another Wobbuffet. When combined with Counter, Mirror Coat, and Encore, Wobbuffet will all but ensure death on at least one of your opponent's Pokemon. Safeguard combined with the aforementioned Encore also allows deadly sweepers on Wobbuffet's team to come in and set up free of status and/or a super effective counter attack. Tickle, although rare, allows Wobbuffet to devastate enemy walls when paired with a strong user of Pursuit.

Forretress

Type: Steel / Bug
Base Stats: 75 HP/90 Atk/140 Def/60 SpA/60 SpD/40 Spe
Ability: Sturdy

Forretress is a one-trick pony, but it does that one trick very, very well: laying down and spinning away entry hazards. Forretress can learn Stealth Rock, Spikes, and Toxic Spikes, and it can use it good defenses and great typing to switch in on common attack types in the Ubers metagame (Dragon-, Ice-, Ghost-, and Dark-type attacks all come to mind.) to lay down a layer or two. Soon, the layers will accumulate very quickly, and your opponent's Pokémon will be left flailing weakly about, struggling against innumerable pointy rocks and poisonous spikes, making them that much easier to dispatch. Forretress is also by far the best user of Rapid Spin, clearing your side of the field of entry hazards so Pokémon like Ho-Oh can come in unscathed to wreak massive damage. Forretress also gets Payback to gash enemy Ghost-types badly when they try to come in to block Rapid Spin, and it also has Gyro Ball and Earthquake for threats such as Tyranitar. These qualities means that Forretress has a guaranteed spot on 99% of Uber stall teams, and it is definitely something to have a plan for.


Blissey

Type: Normal
Base Stats: 255 HP/10 Atk/10 Def/75 SpA/135 SpD/55 Spe
Ability: Natural Cure / Serene Grace

The premier special wall in OU returns as the premier special wall in Ubers. Blissey's amazing HP and Special Defense means that it can handle any special attack (save full powered Water Spouts from Choice Specs Kyogre) without a second thought. Although pathetic offensively, Blissey can simply use Toxic, Thunder Wave, and Seismic Toss to cripple and wear down most threats easily while keeping itself alive with Softboiled. Blissey is also a great team player, with access to Wish to help heal the team and Aromatherapy/Heal Bell to remove pesky status conditions. Blissey also forces many switches on the opponent's team, making it a good user of Stealth Rock as well. With all of these support options, it is easy to see why it is a main component in the foundation of Uber Stall. If the trainer feels like it, Blissey also can try her hand at sweeping with Calm Mind, Thunder, Ice Beam, and/or Flamethrower.



Skarmory

Type: Steel / Flying
Base Stats: 65 HP/80 Atk/140 Def/40 SpA/70 SpD/70 Spe
Ability: Sturdy / Keen Eye

Skarmory is not seen too much in Ubers since it has to compete with Forretress for a team slot. Although Forretress is usually picked because of its ability to learn Rapid Spin, Toxic Spikes, and Payback, Skarmory has several notable advantages over the little steel bug and other physical walls. Skarmory has reliable recovery in Roost and a very good defensive typing, which grants it resistances to Dragon-, Grass-, Flying-, Ghost-, and Dark-type attacks, making it one of the best counters to Garchomp, Groudon, and Shaymin-S around. Using its good set of resistances, Skarmory can switch in on many foes while laying down Spikes and Stealth Rock. Skarmory also gets Whirlwind, allowing it to become a reliable phaser while spreading around entry hazard damage, and Taunt, meaning Forretress and Wobbuffet can't use Skarmory as set-up bait like they can with most other physical walls. Skarmory also has Toxic and Brave Bird in the form of direct damage dealing, although the latter is only really useful to stop Shaymin-S.



Cresselia

Type: Psychic
Base Stats: 120 HP/70 Atk/120 Def/75 SpA/130 SpD/85 Spe
Ability: Levitate

Cresselia often has to compete with Lugia for the role of physical wall, as they both counter similar things, but Lugia has better overall stats and a wider movepool. Cresselia, however, is not weak to Stealth Rock, Rock-, Ice-, or Electric-type attacks, often allowing to wall threats such as Groudon more effectively. Although Cresselia has to use Moonlight or Rest for recovery, sunlight from Groudon pumps up moonlight to healing even more HP than moves such as Recover or Roost. Cresselia's great defenses allow it to make good use of moves such as Toxic, Thunder Wave, and Ice Beam to wear down many threats. It also gets Reflect and Light Screen to help itself take hits or to let its teammates set up for a devastating sweep, the latter of which is made easier by Lunar Dance, which allows Cresselia to sacrifice herself to get a battered teammate in fully recovered, allowing it to begin its rampage anew. Cresselia is also one of the few reliable users of Trick Room in Ubers, and is a good choice for a team based around that particular field effect.


Bronzong

Type: Steel / Psychic
Base Stats: 67 HP/89 Atk/116 Def/79 SpA/116 SpD/33 Spe
Ability: Levitate / Heatproof

Bronzong's great defensive typing allows it to be a great anti-metagame Pokémon, walling many threats such as Giratina-O (beware of Hidden Power Fire while the sun is shining), Latias, Latios, Groudon, Garchomp, Lugia, and Shaymin-S with ease. Bronzong can easily make use of supporting moves such as Stealth Rock, Toxic, Trick Room, Reflect, and Light Screen to assist its teammates while taking hits and wearing down foes with a choice of Gyro Ball, Payback, and/or Earthquake. When Bronzong can do no more, he can make good use of Explosion to eliminate an opposing Pokémon from play, or simply to allow a free switch-in opportunity from a teammate. (Especially if Reflect and Light Screen are up.)



Registeel

Type: Steel
Base Stats: 80 HP/75 Atk/150 Def/75 SpA/150 SpD/50 Spe
Ability: Clear Body

Registeel is a very underrated tank, able to take most any non-super effective hits like nothing. Its bulk makes it a reliable user of Stealth Rock, Toxic, and Thunder Wave while being able to combat Dragon-type Pokémon with Ice Punch. He can also use Explosion to easily eliminate an enemy Pokémon when its usefulness has ended. However, he faces a lot of competition from Bronzong who has Levitate, no Fighting-type weakness, walls most of the same things and more, and can use Reflect/Light Screen. Registeel does have higher defenses however, so he can switch into Dragon-type attacks from the likes of Rayquaza, Palkia, and Dialga more effectively.

Kingdra

Type: Water / Dragon

Ability: Swift Swim / Sniper

Although it may seem like Palkia outclasses Kingdra completely, there are still a few good reasons to use Kingdra instead. Kingdra makes good use of Swift Swim -- doubling it's mediocre speed stat -- and is able to outrun all non-choiced Pokémon in the Uber tier. Another advantage it has over Palkia is Dragon Dance, turning Kingdra into a fearsome sweeper if left unchecked. Despite its offensive movepool being limited to its STABs (Waterfall, Surf, Hydro Pump, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Outrage), it should be noted that Water and Dragon can hit everything in Ubers for neutral damage with the exception of Empoleon, which is rarely seen in Ubers. In addition to being a powerful physical sweeper, Kingdra has the ability to utilize an equally high Special Attack stat to run a mixed or special set. This makes Kingdra especially deadly, because it can rip through special or physical tanks due to the fact that both attacking stats are effective and have the movepool to support them as well.

Its defenses might be pathetic for the Ubers tier, but Lucario can still use his great resistances to survive. Underestimate this jackal at one's own peril.

i was just wondering if pokemon could be both in high/medium/obscure AND the defensive section.
I would think so, seeing as some Pokemon pose a big defensive threat, as well as offensive, an example would be Heatran, but I don't think it would be mentioned twice, simply put in what it does best and mention the other thing it can do.

Tyranitar

Type: Rock / Dark
Base Stats: 100/134/110/95/100/61
Ability: Sand Stream

While Tyranitar may seem to be an unlikely choice for Ubers, seeing as he is weak to several common attacking type (Water, Grass, Fighting, and Ground), Tyranitar is still strong in the Uber tier. With 100/110/100 defenses and an Attack stat of 134, Tyranitar has Uber-esque stats with only his Speed dragging him down. One of the main perks of using Tyranitar is his ability to change the weather which ruins Thunder/Blizzard accuracy, stops the boosting of Fire of Water attacks, damages all non-Steel, Rock, or Ground types (which breaks Deoxys-S/A's Focus Sashes) and, on top of all this, gives Tyranitar a .5 Special Defense boost. Tyranitar also has access to key moves in the Uber tier, such as Stealth Rock, Dragon Dance, STAB Pursuit, STAB Crunch, STAB Stone Edge, Ice Punch, Earhquake, and Superpower. Along with it's great physical move pool, Tyranitar have a strong special movepool, such as Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Thunder. All these factors allow Tyranitar to perform as a Trapper, Choice User, Mix Set Dancing Sweeper, or Lead and makes it very hard to predict.

Sorry if there was any reservations, but I decided to do a bunch to help out. Im going to post it with these three for now, but I'm going to at least do all the medium threats tonight, if not the rest of them.


Scizor

Type: Bug / Steel
Base Stats: 70 HP/130 Atk/100 Def/55 SpA/80SpD/65 Spe
Ability: Technician / Swarm

Although Scizor is a top tier OU threat, its as though the metal bug was made for Ubers. It has STAB Bug-type attacks to do major damage against the large amounts of Psychic types in Ubers, and secondary Steel typing to help it sponge the Dragon-, Ice-, Dark-, and Ghost-type attacks commonly thrown around in the Ubers tier. Scizor's defensive capabilities are made even more potent by Kyogre's omnipresent rain, which lessens Scizor's lone weakness to Fire-type attacks, and Roost which allows Scizor to recover lost HP and keep switching in. U-turn makes Scizor a very effective scouter while dishing out hard hits to the common Psychic- and Dark-type Pokemon in Ubers, and it can also use Pursuit to put said Psychic-type Pokemon in a checkmate position. Scizor's Bullet Punch, boosted by STAB and Technician, is often used to pick off weakened enemy Pokemon and can even let Scizor sweep when combined with Swords Dance.


Metagross

Type: Psychic / Steel
Base Stats: 80 HP/135 Atk/130 Def/95 SpA/90 SDef/70 Spe
Ability: Clear Body

Metagross is an OU Pokemon, but it is still a big threat in the Ubers tier. Base 135 Attack is nothing to scoff at, especially when coupled by decent defenses and one of the best typings to have in the Ubers tier: Steel. Metagross's great defensive typing makes it a fine user of Stealth Rock. Metagross has an excellent movepool that includes very powerful attacks, such as Meteor Mash, Ice Punch, Earthquake, Thunder Punch, and Hammer Arm. He can also use Pursuit to trap troublesome foes such as Latias effectively. Metagross also learns Explosion and Trick, which when used correctly will assuredly cripple one member of your opponent's team.


Salamence

Type: Dragon/Flying
Base Stats: 95 HP/135 Atk/80 Def/110 SpA/80 SpD/100 Spe
Ability: Intimidate

Salamence at first glance may seem inferior to the much more powerful Rayquaza in the Ubers tier, but Salamence is actually one of the most effective partners for it. Since they have the same counters, Salamence can draw upon its wide movepool and its great Speed and offensive stats to either make holes for Rayquaza to sweep with mighty attacks such as Draco Meteor, Fire Blast, Outrage, and Earthquake. Alternatively, Salamence can let Rayquaza do the hole-punching and it can sweep itself with Dragon Dance. Salamence's base 100 Speed stat also means that Choice Scarf Palkia, perhaps the most common Dragon Dance Rayquaza check, cannot reliably revenge kill Salamence. Furthermore, Intimidate allows Salamence to check Swords Dance Lucario and Rayquaza in a pinch.


Jirachi

Type: Psychic / Steel
Base Stats: 100 HP/100 Atk/100 Def/100 SpA/100 SpD/100 Spe
Ability: Serene Grace

Jirachi is a great Pokemon in the Ubers tier by virtue of its Steel typing, 100 Stats across the board, and its amazing ability to support teams. Jirachi is one of the few viable users of Wish in Ubers, and it is easily able to pass them thanks to access to U-turn and Jirachi's many resistances. Jirachi can also provide status support via Thunder Wave and Toixc, and is also known for Serene Grace, which boosts Iron Head's flinch rate to 60%, which often allows Jirachi to often flinch foes to death without taking a single hit. Although Jirachi is weak offensively, its great typing, good Speed, and decent physical movepool (including attacks such as Iron Head, Fire Punch, and Ice Punch) allow it to become a great revenge killer with Choice Scarf. Jirachi can also make use of Trick to cripple an enemy Pokemon for the rest of the match.


Heatran

Type: Fire / Steel
Base Stats: 91 HP/90 Atk/106 Def/130 SpA/106 SpD/77 Spe
Ability: Flash Fire

Heatran is an underrated Pokemon in Ubers. Thanks to its typing, Flash Fire, and decent 91/106/106 defenses, it can switch into many of the powerful offensive Dragon-types in Ubers thanks to being the only Pokemon in the game that resists the Dragon- + Fire-type attacking combination. Heatran is also commonly seen in the sun, which boosts its powerful STAB Fire-type attacks as well as leaving enemy Dragon-types such as Latias that rely on Thunder to beat some Steel-types helpless to hurt Heatran. Heatran can use Choice Scarf or Choice Specs with its great movepool (including moves such as Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Overheat, Dragon Pulse, Earth Power, Ancientpower, and Explosion) to become a great revenge killer or powerful hole-puncher. Heatran can also use Taunt, Roar, and Toxic to be a great stallbreaker with entry hazard support, and it is a fine user of Stealth Rock and Explosion.

Ludicolo

Type: Water / Grass
Stats: 80/70/70/90/100/70
Ability: Swift Swim / Rain Dish

Ludicolo may seem like an odd choice in Ubers, but he shines with rain support from Kyogre. In Ubers, Ludicolo can use moves like Leech Seed, Protect, and Substitute in tandem with his ability, Rain Dish, to stall out a large number of threats in the Uber metagame. His Base 100 Special Defense helps him in this regard, allowing him to easily sponge a multitude of special attacks. Additionally, Ludicolo is one of the best Kyogre counters in the game, being able to switch into any of its attacks bar Choice Specs Thunder, and stall it out with Leech Seed and Protect. Ludicolo’s other ability, Swift Swim, doubles his Speed in rain, letting him serve as a satisfactory special sweeper.


Ninjask

Type: Bug / Flying
Base Stats: 61/90/45/50/50/160
Ability: Speed Boost

With blazing Speed, Speed Boost, Baton Pass, and Swords Dance, Ninjask can serve as a great Baton Passer, even in the Uber environment. With access to Protect and Substitute, Ninjask is almost guaranteed to pass at least +2 Speed. Substitute can also be used to forcibly activate a pinch berry, giving Ninjask another boost to pass. Ninjask can also use Swords Dance in conjunction with a Focus Sash and Protect to always Pass a +2 boost to Speed and Attack, unless the opponent has a priority move. Due to his 4x Stealth Rock weakness, Ninjask is most often seen as a lead. Ninjask's STAB Bug attacks coming off of his passable 90 base Attack also discourages Psychic-type users of Taunt.



Infernape

Type: Fire / Fighting
Base Stats: 74/104/71/104/71/108
Ability: Blaze

Although Infernape’s poor defenses and average (by Uber standards) offenses may seem to limit his viability, Infernape can serve as a great lead and stallbreaker in Ubers. Infernape has several qualities that make him a good lead, such as access to powerful attacks like Fire Blast and Close Combat, and the ability to use Fake Out and Stealth Rock. Infernape may seem like a poor stallbreaker compared with the powerful mixed attackers in Ubers, but his immunity to Will-O-Wisp, access to STAB Close Combat to take care of Blissey, ability to use U-turn, and quick Speed make him a force to be reckoned with.


Weavile

Type: Dark / Ice
Base Stats: 70/120/65/40/85/125
Ability: Pressure

Weavile’s stellar dual STABs, Dark and Ice, work wonders in Ubers, an environment congested with Psychic-, Dragon-, and Flying-types. He also has Low Kick to hit Steel-types and all of the heavy Pokemon in Ubers. Weavile is also dangerous because of his blazing 125 base Speed, and on top of that, access to a priority move in the form Ice Shard and Fake Out, meaning almost nothing will escape an encounter with Weavile unharmed. Weavile can also make use of Swords Dance to boost his already high Attack, and makes a great user of Choice Band. In addition, Weavile can use Counter in conjunction with Focus Sash to kill powerful physical attackers.



Heracross

Type: Bug / Fighting
Base Stats: 80/125/75/40/95/85
Ability: Guts / Swarm

Heracross's has great dual STABs in the form of Close Combat and Megahorn. Coupled with his sky-high Attack and useful ability, Guts, Heracross can be very threatening in the Uber environment. Heracross can make use of moves like Stone Edge and Night Slash for coverage, and Sleep Talk to be able to switch into Darkrai's Dark Void and Sleep Talk a super effective hit onto it with a Guts boost. Heracross makes great use of Choice Band and Choice Scarf as well, the former being insanely powerful and surprisingly bulky with HP investment, while the latter allows him to outspeed almost everything bar Deoxys-S and other Scarf users. Heracross also makes good use of Vacuum Wave in a lead position to finish off Focus Sash Pokemon.



Mamoswine

Type: Ice / Ground
Base Stats: 110/130/80/70/60/80
Ability: Oblivious / Snow Cloak

Mamoswine’s huge base 130 Attack, alongside powerful STAB Ice moves, allow him to easily take care of the omnipresent Dragons in Ubers. With access to moves like Stealth Rock, as well as priority in the form of Ice Shard, Mamoswine also has the ability to make a great lead. In addition to that, he can also use Endeavor in conjunction with Focus Sash to reduce opponents to 1 HP. Mamoswine also has the ability to pick off Dragons with his powerful Ice Shard. He also can don a Choice item for great effect, either making him very fast or obscenely powerful.


Shiftry

Type: Grass / Dark
Base Stats: 90/100/60/90/60/80
Ability: Chlorophyll / Early Bird

Shiftry has potenital to sweep entire teams, despite his rather low base stats. With access to Swords Dance and Nasty Plot, and Chlorophyll doubling his decent base 80 Speed in the sun, Shiftry should not be taken lightly. His STAB Dark attacks allow him to hit the myriad of Psychic-types in Ubers with a super effective Dark Pulse or Sucker Punch. Shiftry also has the ability to use moves such as Grass Knot, Seed Bomb, Low Kick, Focus Blast, and Explosion to go out with a band once his usefulness is depleted.



Gengar

Type: Ghost / Poison
Base Stats: 60/65/60/130/75/110
Ability: Levitate

Gengar is a unique Pokemon in the Uber tier, sporting the ability easily check Rayquaza with his immunity to ExtremeSpeed and access to Icy Wind. Gengar also has powerful STAB Ghost attacks, which provide great coverage in Ubers. Great Special Attack and Speed, along with moves like Shadow Ball, Destiny Bond, Focus Blast, Pain Split, Thunder, Hypnosis, Trick, and Explosion, make Gengar a force to be reckoned with.



Kabutops

Type: Rock / Water
Base Stats: 60/115/105/65/70/80
Ability: Battle Armor / Swift Swim

Kabutops is a great candidate for abusing Kyogre’s Drizzle ability. Under rain, his Swift Swim ability allows him to outspeed every Pokemon in the game (barring Deoxys-S and Choice Scarf users). His base 115 Attack may not be that impressive by Uber standards, but he can quickly double it with the help of Swords Dance. In addition, Kabutops has moves like Low Kick, Stone Edge, Waterfall, and X-Scissor that give him excellent coverage. Under the rain, he can also make use of a Choice Band quite effectively. Kabutops may not seem like much, but under the rain, he poses a huge threat to most teams.



Abomasnow

Type: Ice / Grass
Base Stats: 90/92/75/92/85/60
Ability: Snow Warning

Abomasnow is unique due to the fact that he is the only competitively viable Pokemon in the game to summon permanent hail upon entering the battle. Abomasnow can use this ability to foil the opponent’s weather-related strategies, and give himself and his team access to a 100% accurate Blizzard, which hits a lot of Ubers for super effective damage. Abomasnow can also use a Choice Scarf to patch up his mediocre Speed, and use moves like Blizzard, Wood Hammer, Grass Knot, Focus Blast, and Ice Shard for coverage. He can also use the SubSeed strategy, in conjunction with hail, to great effect.


Magnezone

Type: Steel / Electric
Base Stats: 70/70/115/130/90/60
Ability: Magnet Pull / Sturdy

Magnezone’s ability to trap and remove Steel-types with its Magnet Pull ability can be very valuable in Ubers. Magnezone also has a very big asset in its own Steel-typing, allowing it to switch into its many resistances, such as Dragon, Ghost, Ice, and Dark. Magnezone also has a good secondary typing, which gives him access to a powerful STAB Thunder. Magnezone can also utilize moves like Flash Cannon, Reflect, Light Screen, Magnet Rise, Mirror Coat, and Explosion to great effect. Magnezone often uses Choice Specs and Choice Scarf, to boost its power and speed, respectively.


Dugtrio

Type: Ground
Base Stats: 35/80/50/50/70/120
Ability: Arena Trap / Sand Veil

Dugtrio may seem like a poor choice in Ubers, but he has certain characteristics that give him a unique niche. First off, Dugtrio's Arena Trap ability allows him to prevent all Pokemon (bar Flying-types and Pokemon with the ability Levitate) from switching. Due to his Ground-typing, he can switch into attacks like Choice Scarf Kyogre’s Thunder, and KO the opponent. He can also be used to great affect alongside Wobbuffet; Wobbuffet can Encore a harmless move, and Dugtrio can switch in and finish off the Pokemon. Dugtrio commonly uses moves like Earthquake, Stone Edge, Night Slash, and Sucker Punch, as well as both Choice items.


Celebi

Type: Grass / Psychic
Base Stats: 100/100/100/100/100/100
Ability: Natural Cure

Celebi’s unimpressive stats (by Uber standards) may decrease its viability, but its sturdy defenses and excellent utility movepool make it a good choice in Ubers. Celebi makes a great lead with access to moves like Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave and U-turn. Celebi can also be an effective attacker, with moves like Leaf Storm, Grass Knot, Earth Power, Nasty Plot, Swords Dance, and Shadow Ball. Celebi's vast movepool makes it more suited for a supporting role, however, with things like Recover, Light Screen, Reflect, Leech Seed, Trick Room, Baton Pass, Heal Bell, and Perish Song.

Uxie

Type: Psychic
Base Stats: 75/75/130/75/130/95
Ability: Levitate

With respectable 75 base HP stat and incredible 130 base defenses, Uxie is a bulky Pokemon even in the Uber tier. On top of those defenses, Uxie also has an above average base Speed for the Uber tier of 95, allowing it to outrun Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Groudon, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina and can speed tie with Rayquaza. It also has immunity to Ground moves and Spikes/Toxic Spikes to help it switch in. While it's attacking stats and movepool leave much to be desired, Uxie's supporting movepool complements it's defenses and Speed. Uxie has access to a good range of Support moves such as Reflect, Light Screen, Memento, Yawn, Trick, and Stealth Rock. These give Uxie a myriad of options to choose from and use.


Jumpluff

Type: Grass / Flying
Base Stats: 75/55/70/55/85/110
Ability: Chlorophyll / Leaf Guard

When looking at Jumpluff's stats and typing she doesn't seem that impressive, but don't underestimate her. Jumpluff's base 110 Speed allows her to outrun a good portion of the Ubers Metagame and speed tie Lugia and the Lati Siblings. On top of that Jumpluff's ability Chlorophyll allows her to reach an incredible speed of 700. Accompanying her speed, Jumpluff also has access to Sleep Powder, Encore, and Leech Seed to make her particularly annoying. With Groudon's help, Jumpluff becomes the fastest SubSeeder in the game. Jumpluff is also immune to Ground moves and Spikes/Toxic Spikes, which is good because of it's frailty. However is does take 25% damage from Stealth Rock.

Finished all of them, but I need a grammar check, and in Celebi's case a content check, I wasn't sure what it could effectively do in Ubers, so I just listed its options really. But other then that, its done :).

(Some of them may be bad because I remember I did a few late at night >_>, or just bad writing period...)

Content Checks

Ludicolo- Needs to be mentioned that is it one of the best Kyogre switch-ins thanks to its neutrality to Ice and Electric, good SpD, and 4X Water resistance.

Infernape- Mention that it is faster than the typical Uber mixed attacks such as Rayquaza. (Which is part of the reason it is such a threat.)

Weavile needs mentions of Counter and Fake Out.

Heracross needs a mention of Vacuum Wave. Theorymon has tested a lead Cross with it that has worked very well.

Magnezone needs mentions of Magnet Rise and Mirror Coat.

I think Celebi is fine, just mention it being used more as a team supporter.

TTar needs more of its special movepool mentioned since it can pull off a mixed set quite well (Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Thunder). Also needs mention of Ice Punch, Superpower, and Earthquake and how unpredictable TTar is with its huge movepool. Also mention that Sandstorm removes Deoxys's Focus Sash which makes it particularly potent as a lead since TTar has like three different lead sets lol.

Exeggutor

Type: Grass / Psychic
Base Stats: 95/95/85/125/65/55
Ability: Chlorophyll

Exeggutor boasts the second strongest STAB Grass Knot in the game, and while its mediocre defensive stats do not allow it to withstand attacks from the threatening sweepers of Ubers, its ability Chlorophyll allows it to reach a monstrous speed of 458 in the sun, allowing it to abuse its powerful Grass Knot, which reaches a base power of 120 against many heavy Ubers like Kyogre and Groudon. Exeggutor also carries with it Sleep Powder and Explosion, allowing it to cripple or even defeat its counters.
