Drifblim

The idea: Get in there and pass some support to a needy teammate.

Nature: Jolly, Timid, Bold, Calm
Item: (Depends on your Baton recipient) Salac Berry, Leichi Berry, Petaya Berry
Ability: Unburden

EVs: 12 HP (440), 252 Def, 240 SpD (Or Speed if you're not comfortable)

Moveset:

Thunder Wave- If your opponent is not Ground-type or a Taunt-user, paralyze them.
Substitute- Use this once you've sent out T-wave to protect yourself from status and Taunt. If your opponent breaks the sub, use it again. Your goal is to achieve 1/4 HP, so the berry activates and Unburden boosts Drifblim's speed.
Stockpile- Use this once you've subbed in order to raise Defense and Special Defense. Two or three times is the goal.
Baton Pass- Hopefully you managed to activate the berry, but once you're confident in your boosts, Baton Pass them to an ally waiting to sweep.

Team Options: I use this set with Liechi Berry and pass to a Simple Bibarel. With three Stockpiles, Bibarel's defenses are maxed out. A Liechi Berry gives him great attacking power. If you are lucky, you'll also have a subsitute active, which will take a while to break, even by super-effective hits.

I know this isn't very comprehensive, but I'm sure the better players out there can figure out this team's weaknesses (Taunt, Encore) and its potential. This set has worked wonders for me. Thanks for reading this! Comments appreciated!

Post new sets in QC. Please change the formatting of the set to that of every other set and analysis, and edit the explanation to fit the guidelines in the rules sticky of this forum.

Passing defense boosts (and defense boosts in general) isnt a very good strategy, and passing something like Calm Mind boosts would be a lot more beneficial.
This probably works better outside of the lead position, since it doesnt accomplish much in that spot and is stopped easily by taunt leads.

Why are there so many Nature slashes?

Agreed, passing CM is much better than passing Stockpile.

Also, out of the top 10 leads,

Ambipom Taunts (lose)
Uxie SRs and U-turns out (win...ish)
Mesprit Tricks (lose)
Zam Encores (lose)
Omastar sets up entry hazards (win/lose?)
Kabutops 2HKOes with Stone Edge (lose)
Moltres does 38.3% - 45.5% with Fire Blast (win)
Hippo Roars (lose)
Electrode Taunts and sets-up rain (lose)
Cloyster Sets up entry hazards (win/lose?)

So, you beat Uxie and Moltres, and pass stuff to a pokemon who loses a fuckton of health from entry hazards with Omastar/Cloyster. You lose with all the others.

No?

Maybe take the "Lead" part out.

But then it's the same thing as a set Smogon already has, apart from an EV Spread and Twave>Shadow Ball.

Btw, the EV Spread is 80 HP / 252 SpD / 176 Spe.

Please post sets in the proper format next time. Also, what's the point of Thunder Wave. It makes you complete set-up bait to Taunt users, and your Speed is already doubled by Unburden (so...are you just trying to parahax the opponent?). Furthermore, how is this set any better than the Baton Pass sets on-site (EV spread, Stockpile, etc.).

yeah i really do not get this set for the reasons darkamber and eo covered. please post 10 or more logs in a row (don't pick the good ones) of this set with commentary directed at answering their arguments

this reminds me though i have an offensive drifblim lead to post
