Enjoy.

Me digs mucho.
Turtwig is my favorite, but Pansear's face is adorable!

I deffo want to color that Turtwig sometime.

Harderrier and Pidove are my favourites. They are all good and I look foward to more from you soon.

Note I'm only doing this because I can't use the scanner until hopefully tomorrow, but this is to tantalize some tastebuds.

Ooooooooooooo!

Ok I really like these, the texture you've got going is awesome. I think you should spend a little more time on the anatomy though. For example, the monkeys' arms are pretty straight whereas they should be curved.

I see a lot of potential here though, keep it up!

Ok you're off to a decent start.

Firstly you need to clean your images before you scan them. Erase parts where you're pencil has smudged and blow away broken graphite fragments, this will produce a cleaner image. Also I would suggest placing a piece of paper under your hand as you work around the drawing, this reduces smudging whilst your drawing meaning less clean-up afterwards.

On a lot of your drawings your proportions are fair, they could do with some editing in parts though. Did you trace Kyuremu? If not I'm very impressed, it's a stand out piece compared to your others.

Also I'd suggest putting a little more effort into your shading, a lot of it is scratched and appears rushed. Make it smooth. I'd suggest buying a blending stump, failing that use cotton buds. These can be used to blend (smudge) the pencil cleanly, providing a nicer look.

Thanks for all the tips guys!

@Alchemator: Sorry about that, Pansear was a fairly quick sketch, about 2 minutes or so, and I could probably make a new one!

@Precipice: Big thanks for the tips, I'll keep those in mind, especially the tips about cleaning it up. Most of these sketches took around 5 minutes or so to complete, so they are not as good as I would have liked them to be. I kinda dub them as practice sketches. :p (oh, and no, I didn't trace it, I just looked of a Kyurem sprite and drew from there, took roughly half and hour to do in the car, and I had to occasionally redo some things. In fact, the initial outline of some of the tail and leg didn't come through, so I had to go in Paint and fix that. :Q)

Yeah, I'll definitely work on the shading, I think I actually have some cotton buds at home right now (though we call them Q-tips here for some reason). I could probably just so that treatment with some of the drawings I haven't scanned yet.

Thanks for the tips!

Who else thought this thread was dead?

Well, this is what happens when you start drawing in pen.

You are acting weird.

Get it? Because it's made out of ice cream...? *Ba-dum-tish*

Simple Washibon to round it off.

I'm assuming most of these newer pics will be in color, since I've done a crapload of pen drawings, some of which are good imo.

@ Alch: I will certainly try.
@TheLegendKiller: Sure, the giratine will probably be my first experiment in shading!

EDIT: Here is the colored Giratina. I colored it, then used the original artworks, using the original colors and a bit of my own for the shading. I feel like I was pretty timid with it, but you be the judge.

Nice looking Giritina you have there! The shading looks nice for a first try. The only thing that is a bit off putting are the speckles of white within the colors. I'm assuming your filling the spaces with the bucket tool, right? Though it may be arduous, you might wanna put in the extra time to try to cover those little speckles up on your own. Trust me, it's a pain in the ass but it's worth it!

Yeah, it makes it a whole lot longer and it's really tedious, but its nothing that can't be dealt with!

Also, this will be the placeholder for the stuff I am going to upload later today.

EDIT: Oh God, please help me. Fingers killing me. The gastly took 2 hours. Jarardo was right. This was a PAIN to make, but I like the end result a lot.

Can has more shading? Apart from that, I like your original and differing style (the style is different for each pic). The Giratina in particular is really good. Can't wait for Altaria (my favourite Pokemon).
