The Clear Entry Tournament

Introduction:
We've become so accustomed to the 4th generation metagame and all of the entry hazards that are used in it. However, sometimes we get to thinking about how it would've gone down without those entry hazards. Would Moltres be OU? How would stall work, if at all? This tournament attempts to explore those ideas by banning all of the entry hazards and forcing players to adjust to a metagame without them.

Matchups:
The semifinals were intense, and now here we stand at the zenith of the tournament. Two of the best battlers I've seen in this metagame stand before you now, ready to make these finals an intense battle for supremacy. Congratulations to you both for making it this far; if it weren't for players like you, this tournament wouldn't have been nearly as successful as it has been. - General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
- This is a single-battle, 4th generation OU tournament that has banned specific moves from being used in the matches.
- The moves Stealth Rock, Spikes, and Toxic Spikes are banned from use for the entirety of this tournament.
- The banlists for this tournament are the same as for the ladders of the Smogon University server of Pokemon Online.
- There will be a week (or so) of time for each round of the tournament. (Extensions for active members who simply cannot get together are OK) When signing up for the tournament, keep this in mind, as I will not hesitate to remove inactive players at the end of rounds or flip coins.
- You must submit a log of your battle to me at the end of each battle. This is necessary so that I can ensure that all battle rules were followed appropriately.
