Let me say this right now: I can't come up with good team names. So let me just say that this team started as an experiment for Z-Copycat and eventually became Mimikyu/Kyub Z-spam just to get out of lower ladder. Then once I got to a place where I felt comfortable, I went full gimmick mode and decided to fulfill my dream of making Magneton the key mon on this team.
new (Magneton) @ Electrium Z
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Zap Cannon (190 BP Gigavolt Havoc)
- Electroweb
- Sleep Talk / Flash Cannon / Hidden Power Something
- Metal Sound
Let's face it. This thing isn't beating any grounds. You might as well give up and run Sleep Talk to have a better chance of beating Yawn / Venusaur or a Hidden Power to beat, idk, Ferrothorn? Z-Zap Cannon has a 100% chance of OHKOing bulky Gyarados-Mega at -0, Mawile-Mega at -0, as well as Snorlax at -2. Electroweb chips fast stuff that's just out of range of Z-Zap Cannon.

ned (Heatran) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 56 HP / 252 SpA / 200 Spe
Mild Nature
- Overheat
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Stone Edge / Flash Cannon / Crunch / Dragon Pulse / Earth Power (Pick 2)
A stupid set that probably nobody's considered. Yes it's good. Hidden Power Ice lets you bop some non-scarfed grounds that Kyub has trouble with, like Groundium Z Garchomp. Overheat is Overheat and does a lot to neutral targets. EVs are for modest Tapu Koko. If you want to run physical moves then move the HP to attack.

old (Kyurem-Black) @ Haban Berry
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 188 Atk / 68 SpA / 252 Spe
Naughty Nature
- Fusion Bolt
- Ice Beam
- Outrage
- Earth Power / Hidden Power [Fire]
This has lost a lot of its utility with the prominence of bulky Gyarados. It's still good, but it loses out on the charm it had in gen 6. This is pretty much self-explanatory. Earth Power vs HP Fire depends on what sets are being used on that specific day.
