2 actions per round Doubles

if no decision is made on an official format and there is a tutoring situation where one of the format would have to be previously picked, I will just make the choice myself.

Here's a slate so we can get this moving forward.

1a) Should 2 APR Doubles be made an official format?
a. Yes
b. No

1b) If yes to 1a, should 3 APR Doubles be kept as an official format?
a. Yes
b. No

1c) If yes to 1b, should 2 APR Doubles be made the default for doubles if the format is not explicitly specified?
a. Yes
b. No, 3 APR should be the default.

IMO, this is a major change that should be a community vote to set a precedent for other significant rule changes in the future.

uh why isn't there a "No default" option on 1c?

The idea has been brought up, echoed, and supporting multiple times throughout this thread, so there's no reason it shouldn't at least be an option for voting.

I think there needs to be a default simply for when no one specifies. If both are accepted formats anyway then the default literally won't matter unless you forget to specify

Ooraloo talked to me on Discord, Frosty was also there. She suggested the community vote to me, Frosty agreed, and quite a few other posts before this ITT agreed to it since a long time ago too. So, I'll put it up on main forums and get people to vote there in 48 hours. Feel free to ping me aggressively after the 20-hour mark.
