Ariados starts this round by enduring the massive hits it will surely take. But Fraxure and Dragonair aren't bothered by the itsybitsy spider and display their Outrageous Outrage at Girafarig. Kirinkiri responds with Razor Wind focused on Fraxure.

Then the masterplan: for the next two turns Ariados gets everybody's attention with Rage Powder, endures Outrage and Girafarig is free to attack Fraxure with Psychic and then another Razor Wind.

Ariados: That broken mov--Endure for 15 energy.

Girafarig: Razor Wind (Fraxure): 8 + 3 + 3= 14 damage for 6 energy
NOTE: I'll have to be literal. The move description says "up to 3 pokemon, which means that it can be 1, 2 or 3. Since you chose only fraxure, the Razor Wind will hit only it. Dunno if that was your intention, which is why I am sticking this note here.

I expect a lot of KOs this match. How? I am magic. Bwahahahahah!

...erm.

The Dragonair starts the match by overcoming confusion to finish Ariados off with Extremespeed. Kirinkiri gets sad and screams with Hyper Voice, which KOes Fraxure and damages...the other dragon.

Kirinkiri then uses a tried-and-true tactic and uses Future Sight to predict heavy damage in Sam's way. The Dragonite-to-be is now trying a heavier attack...but it hits self before that could happen.

Finally, the girafarig Stomps all over Sam. But the Dragonair isn't flinched and pulls a page out of a famous game's book. To be more specific:

KAMIKAZE!!!

He uses his last bit of energy to make massive meteors in a Draco Armageddon, fainting due to exhaustion right after that.

Dragonair: Extremespeed (Ariados): enough damage for 6 energy
Confusion (1=hit self): 2/2 (attacks normally)
Crit: nah

Ariados fainted!

Girafarig: Hyper Voice for 6 energy:
vs Fraxure: 9*0.75+3+3 = 12.75 damage
vs Dragonair: 9*0.75+3+1.5= 11.25 damage
Crit: 6, 7 (no no)

Fraxure fainted!

Girafarig: Future Sight for 6 energy

Dragonair: hit self: 4 damage for 3 energy
Confusion: 1/2 (yes)
Crit: 10 (no)

Girafarig: Stomp (Dragonair): 9+1+3 = 13 damage for 6 energy
Crit: 6 (no)
Flinch: 9 (no)

Dragonair: Draco Armageddon: (14*2.25+3+3)*37/41 = 37.5 (33.8) damage for (10+14)*1.75 -1 = 41 energy
Crit: 4 (no)
NOTE: We have treated this before, but I'll say it again: there isn't, AFAIK, an official ruling at DAT regarding the matter. I am not a huge fan of collecting everything Deck ever said and calling it "Ruling", as we have proper places especifically for all the rules (DAT, Battle Tower, etc) and doing that will make this game extremely unpredictable and harder to ref or play. Until a ruling is done and included on the DAT, I will use my personal discretion (also unpredictable, but ref discretion is what the system uses in case there isn't an official ruling) to say that the combo will deal proportional damage. I don't think it is fair for a player to lose a pokemon and deal no damage due to the lack of less than 10% energy.

Dragonair fainted!

Back to this.

Kirinkiri, the only survivor of the massacre that was last turn starts this round by attacking the newcomer Slowking with Thunderbolt. Its partner Necturna joins the fray as it also attacks Slowking with Leaf Storm.

The other team tries a different approach. Instead of focusing on one of them, Cyclohm sets up Hail, so Slowking can attack both his opponents with Blizzard.

This strategy, for both teams, continues in the following turns. On the second one Kirinkiri protects herself and leave Necturna alone fighting Slowking with her Leaf Blade. After that, Cyclohm joins Slowking and both Blizzard the opposition. Luckily for the Girafarig, it managed to endure thanks to protect.

Seeing an opportunity to finish off at least one of the foes, Kirinkiri and Necturna attack Slowpoke with Thunderbolt and Leaf Blade respectively, which results in a KO. Cyclohm, now alone in the dark, tries to get at least one KO with Blizzard, and succeeds, as Kirinkiri is KOed.

bzzzz Dear lord this is cooooooold.

Okay. Next pokemon to bring hail will be SHOT, ok?

Anyway, Elevator Music sends his last pokemon to finish this: Hakuryu the Dragonair with a random training item I am too lazy to check now.

Necturna the Necturna starts this round by sharing her pain with Cyclohm. The almighty 25hp cap blocked a more severe share, but it was enough for starters. Gandalf is not bother by it and fires a Dragon Pulse at the newcomer to show who is the boss. Hakuryu attacked back with Dragon Pulse, but it didn't manage to get the same output as his full-evolved foe.

Again, Necturna the Necturna shares her pain with the Cyclohm, although there are much less pain to share. Hakuryu, somewhat faster, continues firing Dragon Pulses. And then Gandalf..

oh god no

OH GOD NO

YOU CAN'T DO THIS. NOT TODAY THAT I FORGOT MY HEATER

*FWOOOOOOOOSH*

*some time later, after the rescue team found our poor ref*

itisillegaltokillapokemoninthemiddleofamatchitisillegaltokillapokemoninthemiddleofamatchitisillegaltokillapokemoninthemiddleofamatchitisillegaltokillapokemoninthemiddleofamatch

oh. OKAY. This was a very amusing Winter Fury. Both Necturna and Hakuryu survived, but you can see they were very damaged by the attack.

And yet they are willing to keep going! Necturna used Worry Seed to null all Cyclohm's abilities for the next 6 actions and and Hakuryu fired a Dragon Pulse at Gandalf, doing what the rules stop me from.

And we are looking at what will be probably the last turn! The lovely UC are very close to be MINE! BWAHAHAHAHAH....erm.

FINAL ROUND

FIGHT!

Necturna decides that Cyclohm is smelling and needs to take a bath, so she binds it with her vines, takes the dragon to a nearby lake and soaked it until the electricity was wet! Now outraged, Gandalf summons a Blizzard once again, but it wasn't enough and, to finish this match with a hell-lot of irony, Hakuryu ends with a ZUPA THUNDERBOLT and defeats the Cyclohm.

Elevator Music Wins!
