Glacier Knight's Icy Arena

Field Type- Ice/Water
Complexity- Moderate
Format- All
Restrictions- No digging, No weather

Glacier Knight’s Icy Arena: The large arena is three hundred feet long and wide, square shaped, and perfect for pokemon of the chilled variety. The first five feet of the north and south sides aren’t covered in ice, but the rest of the arena is. Twenty feet from the east and west sides of the arena and in middle are two large glaciers (One hundred feet long, twenty feet wide, both have increasing slopes of 80 degrees and are fifty feet tall. They have plateaus, peaks, and spikes). Cutting through the east and west side of the arena (Also going under the two glaciers) there is a large stream, fifteen feet wide. In the center it makes a large circle of icy water, and in the center rests a large ice floe making a small arena (it is twenty five feet long and wide). Also in the stream there are small and medium sized ice floes, enabling pokemon to cross the freezing cold water (water is 36 degrees Fahrenheit). Scattered around the arena are small rocks stuck to the icy floor, and they can be used to stop a pokemon from sliding or give a small pokemon a platform to stand on. The ice coating the arena floor is too thick to be dig into, and an earthquake or any other large attack will cause ice floes and glaciers to break. The arena is open to the sky, but it only snows or hails. Summary: ice covers the floor besides five feet strips on the north and south side. No dig but earthquake and other stuff is okay. No weather moves can be used. The weather is 100% snowy, but the end of every round there is a 33% chance it will start to hail. Water is accessible but is extremely cold. Ice types gain +2 speed and ice moves gain +2 to their BP.

Mamoswine(*) [Truffles] (Male)

Nature: Sassy (+1 SpD, -15% Speed, -10% Evasion)

Info on Truffles: As a trainee tradition in the E.K.G, Glacier Knight received his first pokemon based on which elemental path he chose, and his other two based on his parent's pokemon. Because he chose ice as is path, he received Truffles, the runt of the ice master's Mamoswine's litter. not caring if he wasn't the toughest or strongest, G.K took Truffles in and gave the swine all the love and care he could muster. as the main power house on his team G.K knows that Truffles can take a beating and dish out ten-fold. Truffles himself is quite like his owner, always trying his best and making sure the job gets done. Truffles enjoys get ear rubs from his trainer and making ice sculptures with his ice beam (and then pummeling them with mud bombs)

Hmmm.... we will have a hard time in this fight but let's bring our A game! Rokon and Togepii, I choose you!

Rokon, you will need to be careful, as both opponents have good type-matchups and can hit you hard. Don't even bother activating Drought when you are sent out if you can help it, it'll only waste your precious energy. First, set up a Reflect to protect yourself and Togepii from most of the assaults. Then, use Bide to suck up damage so we can shoot it back at Mamoswine later, it's the big threat here. That should take up your next action too. If for some reason they choose not to target you with attacks at all, then hit both of them with Will-o-Wisps for those two actions instead, starting with Mamoswine!

Reflect ~ Bide ~ store energy

IF (they don't attack Vulpix), THEN (replace both Bide actions with Will-o-Wisps)

Togepii, use AncientPower on Shellder three times, so we can attempt to nab a boost.

AncientPower (Shellder) ~ AncientPower (Shellder) ~ AncientPower (Shellder)

Truffles, youre the main power house so you need to bring the heat! or should i say frost? anyway, you need to summon an Earthquake first, to shake things up a bit. Then aim all your attacks at the egg. Ancient Power then Body Slam.

Drake things don't seem too good, but no worries! First off put up a shield and Protect, so Truffles wont hurt you and that togepi will fail. Then put up a 20HP substitute and fire off some Icicle Spears at Togepi

Truffles Earthquake~Ancient Power (Togepi)~Body Slam(Togepi)
Drake Protect~20HP substitute~Icicle Spears(Togepi)

Elevator Music's substitution is illegal and impossible, but the three of us already know that.

We are in quite the anime-style icy arena, well done on this arena, Glacier. But anyway, the battle has quickly started! Drake seems to be Protecting himself, knowing what is coming. Earthquake form Truffles, that is what is coming! Damn, that really shook the entire arena! Pieces of the glaciers started breaking off! Rokon puts up a Reflective wall to prevent such high damage from being accomplished again anytime soon. Togepii uses Ancientpowers to attack Drake... and for some reason that means Rock-type. Rokon starts Biding his time for attacks, which *spoiler* never seem to come. Truffles uses those strange Ancientpowers to attack Togepii, while Drake sets up a Substitute in his place to take attacks. Togepii uses the Ancientpowers, still not getting a big boost. Rokon keeps storing damage, which still won't come. Truffles Slams Togepii with his Body, not doing as much damage as it really should (flavor-wise). Drake Spears Togepii with five pointy Icicles, ouch. Togepii yet again attacks Drake with Ancientpowers, still not breaking the substitute.

Truffles Mud Bomb (Togepi)~Ice Beam (Togepi)~ Mud Bomb (Togepi)
Drake Super Sonic (Vulpix)~Bubble Beam (Vulpix)~ Mud Shot (Vulpix)

they will use trickery and protect, i'm sure. but this seems like a solid plan. Do your best you two!

Hmmm..... we're pretty screwed I think, but let's still give it our best...

Rokon, you have to unleash your Bide first action, so I guess just hope not to get confused... After that, use Bide again, as even though Shellder is the one damaging you, you can still unleash the blow on Mamoswine! If you are hurt in confusion a2, just use Bide again on a3!

Unleash Bide ~ Bide ~ Store energy
IF(you are hurt in confusion a2), THEN (use Bide a3)

Togepii, start by using Yawn on Mamoswine-- we have to stop it from doing too much damage. Then, Protect yourself while it tries to attack you again. After that, use an AncientPower on Rokon to boost the power of Bide...... and hopefully score a boost this time!

It appears that one side has an advantage at the start of this round, but let's see what happens! Rokon immediately releases the Bide, unfortunately doing absolutely nothing. Truffles Bombs Togepii with Mud from the ground, but it doesn't seem to have a great effect. Drake emits a Supersonic screech (which doesn't make any sense but we'll roll with it), hurting Rokon's brain and confusing him for 2 actions! Togepii loudly Yawns at Truffles, making Truffles very sleepy. Togepii starts Protecting himself from the attacks coming his way soon. Rokon is so confused, he just runs into a glacier, hurting himself out of confusion! Truffles shoots a Beam of Iceat Togepii, but Truffles is just too tired, and he falls asleep for 1 action. Drake shoots of a Beam of Bubbles off at Rokon, and for some reason, bubbles are effective! Rokon continues Biding, and Truffles just lays on the ground, asleep. Drake Shoots Mud at Rokon, and even Rokon's teammate attacks him with Ancientpowers! Why did Togepii do that?!

Rokon, just hang in there...... hold your Bide for another action, and then at the beginning of a2 unleash it all on Mamoswine (thank god for +1 priority...). If you're still conscious for a3, use Fire Blast on Mamoswine!

storing energy ~ Unleash Bide (Mamoswine) ~ Fire Blast (Mamoswine)

Togepii, we have to make sure Rokon is able to use Bide! Use Yawn on Mamoswine again, and then use Counter, although if it will fail, use AncientPower on Shellder instead. Finish with a powerful Metronome on Mamoswine!

Yawn (Mamoswine) ~ Counter ~ Metronome(Seed Flare/Hydro Cannon/Focus Blast/Doom Desire/Tri Attack/Blue Flare/Bounce/DragonBreath/Freeze Shock/Dream Eater, Mamoswine)

Ok, Truffles and Drake, We have to think if we want this round to go smoothly

Action 1
Truffles, time to freeze togepi in its tracks! give it an Ice Beam, and that should easily encase him in a thick layer of ice! (please think about it; togepi is 11 inches tall, the whole area is made of ice which would make the area colder and more prone to freeze, and the huge beam is coming from an 8 foot 2 inch pokemon. plus Mamo has ice bonuses.) Drake i need you to once again hit the Vulpix with your Super Sonic. we'll need all the help we can get so that bide won't hurt Truffles

Action 2
since Bide has priority it will hit first, so take it like a champ Mamoswine and then go into an Ancient Power aimed at Vulpix! Drake you help too with a Bubble Beam!

Action 3
Before vulpix can fire off that fire blast finish her with a Mud Bomb Truffles! If that finishes her off Drake i need you to use Rock Blast on the egg in the ice (togepi), but if the Vulpix is still up quickly end her battle with another Bubble Beam.

Truffles Ice Beam (Togepi)~Ancient Power (Vulpix)~Mud Bomb (Vulpix)
Drake Super Sonic (Vulpix)~Bubble Beam (Vulpix)~Bubble Beam (on Vulpix) if she is still alive/ Rock Blast (Togepi) if Vulpix has fainted

please consider the factors C$FP for the ice beam encasing togepi in ice. i know pokemon isn't all that realistic at times haha, but doesn't that make sense?

Let's see i-- oww, Hail is now falling from the sky! Anyway, let's see if Elevator Music can turn this around a little. Rokon continues storing for Bide, while Truffles shoots a massive Beam of Ice at Togepii, freezing Togepii! Drake emits another Supersonic sound, but somehow this misses Rokon, though. Togepii is mostly thawed already, but still frozen for the action. Rokon releases the Bide (now with an actual effect) at Truffles! It does fairly good damage, but Truffles still looks fine. Truffles uses the Ancientpowers to hurt Rokon, and Drake shoots a Bubblebeam at Rokon! It seems that Rokon doesn't have much left in him. Togepii uses those crazy Ancientpowers to attack Drake, finally getting rid of the substitute! Truffles hits Rokon with a Bomb of Mud, knocking out Rokon. Drake repeatedly Blasts Togepii with Rocks, and Togepi uses the powers of Metronome to use Blue Flare! Togepii is one hit away from going down, it looks like the match has been decided.

good job you too! i really wish Drake would have gotten the final kill so he could get KOC, but thats alright!

Mamoswine attack Onix with a Mud Bomb, and Drake take togepi out with a Bubble Beam. Then Togepi should be done for, but if he used protect then Drake send an Aurora Beam his way to knock him out once and for all (If Togepi is gone the Drake you need to send some Icicle Spears to Onix). Truffles for second action you can fire off an Ice Beam at the onix, and for the last action Drake use Bubble Beam and Truffles lay down the hurt with a Mud Bomb.

Truffles Mud Bomb (Onix)~Ice Beam (Onix)~Mud Bomb (Onix)
Drake Bubble Beam (Togepi)~Aurora Beam (Togepi if he is still alive)/Icicle Spear (Onix)~Bubble Beam (Onix)

okey dokey that should do it

~_~ what a stupid matchup. we're pretty fucked but maybe we can get some KOc?

Iwark, start off by using Earthquake! Then, bodyblock the Aurora Beam for Togepi. After that, shoot a Rock Blast at Shellder!

Togepii, use Protect first turn to dodge the Earthquake. Then, use Metronome on Shellder while Iwark protects you with its large body, and finish with an AncientPower on Shellder!
Protect ~ Metronome(Pain Split/Frenzy Plant/Thunder/Hurricane/Roar Of Time/Night Daze/Sludge Bomb/Silver Wind/Ominous Wind/Future Sight, Shellder) ~ AncientPower (Shellder)

Elevator Music has sent out his third Pokemon, but Glacier Knight's first two are still doing fine. Togepii immediately Protects himself, while Truffles attacks Iwark with a Bomb of Mud. Iwark causes an Earthquake, destroying the arena some more! Drake shoots another Bubblebeam at the protected Togepii, who is starting to run low on energy. Truffles attacks Iwark with a very powerful Ice Beam! It looks like Iwark is already taking some good damage. Iwark decides to keep his partner alive by Bodyblocking Togepii, just in time, blocking Drake's Aurora Beam. Togepii uses a Metronome and randomly uses Roar of Time! That really makes no sense at all, but whatever! Truffles again throws a Mud Bomb at Iwark, who Blasts Drake with several Rocks. Drake hits Iwark with a Beam of Bubbles, which is already too much for the snake thing, and it is knocked out! Togepii seems to be trying to make a final stand with an Ancientpower at Drake, but it won't be enough to do anything.

Action 1:
Togepii: Protect: 7 + 20/3 = 13.333, rounds to 13 Energy
Truffles: Mud Bomb(Iwark): [7 + 3 + (3-2)*1.5]*1.5 = 17.25, rounds to 17 Damage, 9 Energy
Iwark: Earthquake(all three; Togepii is Protected): 7.5 + 3 + (3-3)*1.5 = 10.5, rounds to 11 Damage, 6 Energy
Drake: Bubblebeam(Togepii): 7 + 3 + (2-3)*1.5 = 8.5, rounds to 9 Damage (blocked), 8 Energy

Action 2:
Truffles: Ice Beam(Iwark): [10 + 3 + 2 + (3-2)*1.5]*1.5 = 24.75, rounds to 25 Damage, 4 Energy
Iwark: Bodyblock: 5 Energy
Drake: Aurora Beam(Iwark): [7 + 2 + (2-2)*1.5]*1.5 = 13.5, rounds to 14 Damage, 5 Energy
Togepii: Metronome: Roar of Time(Drake): 15 + (3-2)*1.5 = 16.5, rounds to 17 Damage, 17 Energy

Action 3:
Truffles: Mud Bomb(Iwark): [7 + 3 + (3-2)*1.5]*1.5 = 17.25, rounds to 17 Damage, 5 Energy
Iwark: Rock Blast(Drake): 3*4 + 3 + (3-3)*1.5 = 15 Damage, 5 Energy
Drake: Bubblebeam: [7 + 3 + (2-2)*1.5]*2.25 = 22.5, rounds to 23 Damage, 4 Energy, KOs Iwark
Togepii: Ancientpower: 6 + (3-2)*1.5 = 7.5, rounds to 8 Damage, 4 Energy

This is uber over now. Unless Togepii can pickpocket all of Glacier Knight's Pokeballs, trap Truffles and Drake in their Pokeballs, and throw all of the Pokeballs with the Pokemon in them into a large bonfire, this is so over.
