Activity post- my opponent failed to PM me until today, and apparently wasn't aware of the deadline, because he tried to set up a date for this weekend. He then told me he couldn't battle while I was available, and then messaged me later that day after I had left.

I'm definitely not the only one that's completely confused by this tournament bracket....what happens if we LOSE second round from the WINNERS bracket?

It's double elim. If you are in the winners bracket and lose, you are placed in the losers bracket. If you are in the losers bracket and win, you stay in the loser's bracket. same with winner's. If you are in the losers bracket and lose, you are eliminated.
