If I'm understanding it correctly, the PID would be the same as if you were doing standard seed, that is, it's determined by the second you start the game from the menu. Since the C-Gear seed is also determined partially by delay, there would be no relation between the two.

Yeah, that's right. The PIDs are determined by the standard seed you hit, the C-Gear seed has nothing to do with it. So that's why you have to find out which standard seed you're hitting in order to attempt PID abuse for entralink Pokemon.

The only problem for me is that I'm using an AR... so that means I need to find new parameters and I don't think it's even possible to find your parameters with an AR. I've heard Bond say that it is possible, but I have no idea how to go about it. (If anyone can help, please do!)

Wait so C-Gear RNG is possible with a AR?
 
Yeah C-gear RNG is possible with AR though the only time you'll ever use it while RNG'ing is with entralink Pokemon. I'll admit, being able to instantly know what the Pokemon you're abusing IV's sure is helpful at times.
 
um how to rng shaking spots guys.? i have rnged wild pokemon.but what frames do i need to get.lets say i got a seed with shiny frame 100.so i save in a cave(no npc) and hit my standard seed.then what?doesn't walking advance the pid frame so how do i get the shaking spot?confused plz help
 
You have to pick a seed with a higher shiny frame, and then walk until a spot shows up. Then you walk into it, catch it, and figure out what your shifted starting frame is. Then you do the same thing again (if you hit your seed, it should pop up on the same step again) and do your Chatots one step in front of it.

so the second time i need to count my steps and turns until the spot appear and X it by 2.thats the current frame im in?then go near the spot (counting the steps/turns) and do the chattots till im on -1 my target frame then enter the spot.is it right?
 
Is it really this normal to be having as much trouble RNGing as I have as apart from that one Minccino I've been unsuccessful at RNGing anything else and I can't figure out why this is.

If you're a beginner then yes. Timer0 can be messing with you.

Anyways as I am RNGing my Arceus and updating my timer the Seed to Times can't even match the IVs. It randomly started doing this and I was doing fine all day. I maxed out the delays and seconds it can search for. It looks exactly like the guide on the first page. But it was working just fine a second ago, but these last few tries it couldn't find the IVs. What could have changed? O_o

Counfound Timer0!!! It Drives me to waste days trying to get a Flawles Shiny Eevee!!!!! *rageface*

But on a serious note, any tips for getting Timer0 to work in my favor as it seems it just doesn't wanna let me do this right now for some reason =/
 
guys im going to rng a shiny egg.
but every time i try i get no where near results.
im following this guide

i generated shiny seeds and picked one with a frame 83
then i copied that seed and pasted in the main window in rng reporter and clicked calculate initial pidrng frame and got 44 starting frame.
then i hit my seed and flipped chatot 83-44=39 times but i dont get any result when a near nature is born ability is wrong,or gender. like that.please help me whats going on :( and im not using ditto

Amazingly, this sounds like EXACTLY the same issue I'm having right now, though if what Snapback says is true, it's just the Timer0 being a royal pain the a** and not wanting to cooperate right now, but it would still be nice to know if there's anything else that could POSSIBLY be causing it to screw up as well besides Timer0 not cooperating

Not that I've actually seen so far, usually when I actually look for the gender/nature/ability combo I did get it's usually nowhere near my actual target frame, and I'm talking like 100+ frame away from my actual target

Edit:never mind i just didnt have a way to verify my seed but i just advanced the frames and got the egg and immediately go to victory road and caught a pokemon to check whether i hit my seed.:Dgot help from this forum
 
it could be that your ditto is japanese or of another state.
if you don't care about the egg's ivs, you are not obliged to write the parents ivs in the time finder.
 
I made a previous post but i better remake. Ive been trying to find my parameters on RNG to begin rnging. here is a picture of my screen before i click search

Okay so my problem was fixed after I went out of White Forest. Can that area mess with the seeding when going to the Entralink?

You put the letter I instead of a 1 in your MAC address.
 
Alright, so NPC's can advance the frame. Do they have to be on your screen to advance the frame, or do they just need to be on the same route/area as you?
