Despite this fear, she's learne dto mount a powerful, snowballing offensive with all of her willpower behind it when called on. When allowed, however, she nonetheless focuses on defensive play and protecting herself from attack.

Abilities:
Volt Absorb - (Innate) This Pokemon absorbs all electrical attacks and instead of taking damage, recovering 50% of the damage an electrical attack would have done. A Pokemon that attacks itself with electricity to heal only recieves 25% of the damage that attack would do to itself. Thunder Wave has no effect on the Pokemon.
Lightningrod - (Innate) These Pokemon naturally attract electricity to themselves and away from partners in double battles. When struck with an Electric attack, they transfer the energy into their body, using it to increase their Special Attack by one (1) stage. A boost gained this way by an opponent's attack will be maintained at the end of each round. Self-targeted attacks do not maintain boosts. If a Pokemon has a type immunity to Electric attacks, Lightning Rod will not activate.
(DW) Motor Drive - (Innate) This Pokemon nullifies any electrical attack damage and converts the energy from any electrical attack (inc. Thunder Wave) into an energy source that allows it to boost its speed by one (1) level. A boost gained this way by an opponent's attack will be maintained at the end of each round. BEGIN ROUND ONE


Nothing much really happens. Cassandra calms her mind by a crapton and manages to set up a green veil that protects her from assorted statuses, while Aceladus sets up as well, creating healing loops of water around him as well as stuffing some of his life force into a stuffed doll and promptly disappearing. He yawns loudly as well, but the effect of the attack seems to all but disappear after passing through Cassandra's aforementioned veil of protection. Will we get to see some crushing next round...?

BEGIN ROUND TWO

While Cassandra continues to calm her mind, Aceladus sprays her with a spiraling jet of brown, mucky water. The mud also seems to get into Cassandra's tiny eyes, lowering her accuracy by an obscene amount! Cassandra isn't too affected by this, however, as she fires off an unerring beam of red light at the substitute doll, dealing hefty damage and draining some health from it; despite its frayed condition, however, it's clear that the doll isn't broken quite yet. Aceladus digs underground, avoiding Cassandra's high-powered psychic assault, but isn't quite big enough to hit the flying target when he surfaces.

BEGIN ROUND THREE

Cassandra flies up high above the arena, dodging Aceladus' blast of blistering cold wind. As she attempts to fly down and smash into Aceladus, however, the mud gets into her eyes and causes her to slam into a front-row audience member, sending him to the emergency room. Woops. She whips her head back and forth, though, and manages to catch Aceladus' scent; that pesky accuracy drop won't be bugging her anymore for a short duration of time. Aceladus keeps on attacking, biting Cassandra for some small damage; while Cassandra sends an attack to hit Aceladus in the future, he makes a quick wish to the beings above, nearly exhausting himself in the process.

BEGIN ROUND FOUR

Cassandra begins by taunting Aceladus shamelessly, which comes with a downside of getting blasted by a high-powered torrent of water. Aceladus is suddenly hit by the attack Cassandra sent into the future last round, but all that damage and more is recovered from the wish. As Cassandra fires off a beam of excess electricity at the doll, destroying it and boosting her Special Attack to ungodly levels, Aceladus blasts a second jet of water, but it misses and hits another audience member. Aceladus, completely exhausted, falls to the floor, fainted.

It seems that Cassandra has claimed another victory.
