a) Different Default Time
b) No Change, return to discussion
d) Remove "free edit" time altogether
c) No Change, keep as is

Personally I think having a free edit period of like 15-30 minutes would be just fine. That would give the first player enough time to fix any "D'oh" mistakes he made without artificially extending matches by too much (15 Minutes is probably enough time for the second orderer to figure out his orders anyway so yeah).

Q2: What should be the new Default Time?
a) 15 Minutes
b) 30 Minutes
c) 1 Hour
d) 2 Hours
e) Other (Give a value)

My personal answer, since I have a lot of those "I m dum" moments....

c) 1 Hour
b) 30 Minutes
a) 15 Minutes

b) 30 Minutes
c) 1 Hour
a) 15 Minutes

To clarify for the viewers the time voted on here will be the restriction on the second person ordering. The first person can still edit their orders after this period, but will not have the luxury of P2 being restricted from posting.

I really feel like the time here should be short enough to not delay things, but rather giving the first player enough time to check their orders and correct any silly mistakes. Because of that I think anything more than 30 minutes is still a little silly.

Anyways, do you guys think I should put up a question after this about which matches these rules should apply? Currently they apply to all matches iirc. Most people taking flashes aren't going to want to wait that long though.

All right folks, that does it:

For battles from here on, the player ordering first has 30 minutes of free edit time before the second player can order. This applies only to matches started after this is implemented.

As for when to not apply this, I'm guessing any match that has a DQ period of less than 24 hours? Although I thought we banned any matches from having that short of a DQ time...
