I played Ruby about 15 years ago and have dabbled in gen. 4 and 5 as well. I am wanting to get into Pokemon hardcore now and I am seeking general advice to get me up and running in PVP.
I currently own:
Heartgold / Soulsilver
Diamond / Platinum
White
Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon
I'm looking for any type of general advice as to what is the best route for me to get best prepared for PVP, especially with the Switch game coming in about a year. Any type of advice is welcome--what games to play first, things to look out for, strategies, or anything even super specific, etc. I have been super competitive in other games, but I am now wanting to sink my teeth into Pokemon 100% and thought I would ask the experts before I begin my journey full force.
