    Unfortunately, the mons in use are mostly evolved! How contextually inappropriate for a sandbox! We'll just have to deal with it.

    Arena (open)
    3v3 Training Triples (preferably just MEs/FEs!)
    2 day DQ
    5 chills/2 recoveries/1 sub
    Arena: A giant sandbox.
    Items = Training.
    Switch = MAGIC
    Abilities = One.

    And, on the left side of the Arena, we have the Match Challenger, tortferngatr, with his three Pokemon!

    Tomohawk (open)

    [IMG]
    Tomohawk (Flight) M
    Nature: Timid (15% increase to speed and a 11% accuracy increase (98^2/870 rounded up), -1 attack)
    Type: Flying/Fighting
    Flying: Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks outside extremely odd circumstances even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Enhanced aerial mobility. Superior senses in open air arenas.
    Fighting: Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions of throwing/grappling moves. Superior reaction time in close quarters.

    Abilities:
    Ability 1: Intimidate: (can be activated)
    When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing their Attack stage by one (1). The attack drop is maintained at the end of each round. If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as an Action, and will affect all opponents. Command: (Ability: Intimidate)
    Ability 2: Prankster: (innate) The Pokemon is always prepared for engaging in sneaky tactics and trickery, giving its non-damaging attacks an increase in priority level.
    Ability 3: Justified (DW): (innate) This Pokemon's body reacts to dark energy, invigorating its passions. When hit by a Dark-type move, the Pokemon's attack will increase one (1) stage. A boost gained this way by another Pokemon's attack will be maintained at the end of each round. Self-targeted attacks do not maintain boosts.

    Type: Ground
    Ground STAB; Immune to all electrical attacks, can Dig through almost any substance, Evasive Digging reduced from 3 per action Energy Cost to 2 per action, superior senses in darkened cave surroundings.

    Ability 2: Sand Force: (innate) This Pokemon thrives in Sandstorm conditions, using the power of the swirling sand to augment its Rock, Ground, and Steel-typed attacks. Each of this Pokemon's Rock, Ground, and Steel-typed attacks will have the Base Attack Power increased by two (2). Pokemon with this ability are immune to Sandstorm damage.
    Ability 3: Mold Breaker: (DW, not yet unlocked, innate) Whenever this Pokemon attacks, it emits an invisible, blindingly quick pulse preceding the attack that disables the opponents natural abilities (e.g. Levitators plummet towards the ground before Earthquake hits, Volt Absorb will not absorb electric attacks, Clear Body does not prevent stat-drops, etc.)

    Ah, the sand box. It brings all of us back to a simpler time, a time when there was no money to worry about, a time before exams, a time when we formed into small roving bands challenging each other to merciless turf wars...

    what? my elementary school was the only one like that?

    ARENA NOTES: Sunny (semi-permanent)

    Before anyone else can even think, Tomohawk starts off with some Taunts. "You smell like a poo-poo and you're dumb as a doo-doo!" he yells at Mercutio the Leavanny, who was in the midst of eating sand. Enraged, he looks up and glares at the big, scary bird angrily, accomplishing all of nothing because Leavanny is too cute to be convincingly angry. Faye moves next, throwing some rocks at the combatants to varying degrees of effectiveness. Fault follows up the virtually harmless pitter-patter of pebbles on his plating by slashing at the awkwardly still and immature Mercutio with an X-scissor to the chest and a cheeky cry of "taste your own medicine!" Diana focuses hard on Flight, still convinced she can be whatever she wants when she grows up, including a Psychic type. Unfortunately, her Extrasensory skills are a bit weaker. The combatants sit around for a while, waiting for Frozen's contribution. "Oh, right," he says, somehow unleashing an Icy Wind in the middle of the bright, sunny day, slowing his opponents and chilling Faye to the bone.

    "GANG UP ON THE MEANIE BIRD!" shouts Mercutio, Slashing at him with air. "Okay, boys have cooties anyway," says Diana, oblivious to turn order, as she launches another weak Extrasensory blast. Unfortunately both are blocked, as Flight was already sucking his thumb behind the Protective barrier he'd thrown up preemptively. Fault and Faye fling Rocks at each other, the latter apparently not learning from last time, the former apparently doing the opposite. Lastly, Frozen follows up with a wildly inaccurate blast of Blizzard air which somehow still HITS, dealing massive damage to 2/3 of the enemy.

    Tomohawk: Air Slash Leavanny, Rain Dance.
    Excadrill: Rock Slide, Dig Ninetales. If Ninetales uses Imprison turn 1, use Rock Slide again turn 2.
    Piloswine: Icicle Spear Flygon, Ice Shard Flygon. If Flygon is KO'd, use Dig against Ninetales instead.

    Oh god Prankster, what a shitfuck of an ability.

    Also if I don't post promptly, you can assume that I absolutely cannot. So, a "Hmm" is not necessary, thank you Tort.

    Mercutio the Leavanny: SolarBeam Piloswine ~ SolarBeam Piloswine

    Faye the Flygon: Dig Piloswine ~ Fire Blast Piloswine

    Yeah pretty much everything went wrong here that could have.

    Diana the Ninetales: SolarBeam Piloswine ~ SolarBeam Piloswine
    If Piloswine faints, Fire Blast Excadrill instead.

    Faye the Flygon: Solarbeam Piloswine ~ SolarBeam Piloswine
    If Piloswine faints, Earth Power Excadrill instead.

    If you change the weather here, then you will lose all respect from me.

    I was tempted to have Tomo Protect Piloswine via Prankster, but I decided to be nice and let Ninetales get a KOC.

    Tomohawk: Earth Power Ninetales, Taunt Ninetales.
    Piloswine: Ice Shard+Icicle Spear Flygon, cooldown.
    Excadrill: Dig Ninetales, Dig Ninetales.
