ASB Arena
Strict 72h Disqualification.
One warning per player. After the warning is used (any tag after DQ interval is passed will be counted as warning), the Player has one hour to post (with full orders/pokemon, just saying "orders coming watch this space" doesn't suffice) after DQ is called to rescind it. If one hour passes, the player is DQ'd regardless of the ref posting or not. User calling DQ must tag DQ'd player. Referees please tag the combatants when you have finished your reffing. Players, if you know you're going to be away you better post a Leave of Absence BEFORE you leave, or give a very good reason in case of an emergency. I will say this only once: don't test me
2 Month Time Limit: After two months I reserve the right to forcibly end any matches that don't seem like ending anytime soon. Said matches will be judged by the voters.
Infinite Recoveries/Chills per Pokémon.
Three Substitutions per player excluding KO Substitutions.
One Mega Evolution
Switch = OK
Abilities = ALL
Items = ON.
Arena: ASB Tournament Arena
Ubers Rule:
Mewtwo and Victini may be used in battle, but they will take up the mega slot of the player. Other pokemon may be included in this list as the tournament progresses.

Nature: Brave (+Atk, -Spe)

Type:

Otherwise Dig and Dive will miss. Ground moves can still hit.

Frogger (Greninja (M))
Nature: Hasty (+Spe, -Def, +22% accuracy)

Type:

- Water: Water STAB; Ignores arena restrictions on Water attacks that require an external water source. Evasive Diving reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.

- Dark: Dark STAB; ignores Attract and Confusion status entirely when using Dark-type damaging and non-damaging attacks.

Abilities:

- Torrent (Passive): When this Pokemon's HP is lower than 33%, the Base Attack Power of any water attack is increased by two (2). (eg Water Pulse goes from 6 to 8, Hydro Pump from 11 to 13)

- Protean (Toggle) (UNLOCKED): By default, this Pokemon switches their type before striking with each damaging attack to match the attack they are about to use, and keep that type until another damaging move is used. The energy cost for the attack is calculated based on their type before using the move. When toggled, the Pokemon reverts back to their natural typing. Pokemon that also have Color Change ability may select whether to keep their current type or the damaging attack's type each action.

Found along Dientes in a cave near a spring, the two shiny water types had stolen some food from the group before being found.

With their hideout discovered, the two of them prepared for their last stand.

Frogger, being the tricky frog he is, hid behind Dientes while assaulting the team with quick, varied attacks.
However, even when working in tandem, they where no match for Gambo.

After being defeated, the water types were surprised to see that the trainer didn't finish them off: instead, he just took half of the provisions and left, leaving the other half for them.

Touched by Tavok's actions, the two little guys decided to join him in his journey.

Frogger is a strategist, using formations and tactics to fight even when he was in the wild along with Dientes. He became even more unpredictable upon mastering Protean, his specie's ability to change type according to the attack they're using: he uses it both offensively and defensively, according to the situation.

When outside of battles, he is playful and easy going, getting along with Flare, Ryu and, obviously, Dientes.

Team Mowtom

Reuniclus [Bubble] (F)

Mowtom found Bubble while traveling in the Unova region. Her mother belonged to Catlin of the Elite Four, but Bubble wanted to see the world. She did inherit one thing from her mother's trainer, however. Bubble enjoys battling, but she can have trouble staying awake, even during a battle.

Type: Psychic
  • Psychic STAB; can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.
Abilities: Overcoat / Magic Guard / Regenerator (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon has a sturdy exterior that rebuffs the elements, making it immune to damage inflicted by bad weather. The Pokemon is also immune to "Powder" moves. (Full List: Cotton Spore, Poison Powder, Powder, Rage Powder, Sleep Powder, Spore, Stun Spore.) If the Pokemon is already immune to at least one (1) kind of weather, or powder attacks by typing or a different ability, Overcoat reduces the Base Attack Power of all oncoming attacks by one (1).
  • This Pokemon is infused with a powerful psycho-electric energy that makes it immune to damage from Spikes, Stealth Rock, Hail, Sandstorm, Leech Seed, Poisoning, Burn, and Partial Trapping moves. It can still attack itself in confusion, and will still take damage from it. Additionally, the energy protects the Pokemon from its own reckless recoil attacks. Toxic still increases in damage each round, although if Magic Guard is in effect the Pokemon will not suffer any damage. Life Orb recoil is negated.
  • When this Pokemon is switched out during a switch battle, it reacts to the energy in the Pokeball and (ten) 10 HP is restored. When this Pokemon Chills, it restores six (6) HP in addition to its 12 Energy.

Togekiss [Joy] (F)

Mowtom first found Joy as an Egg left in a Pokemon Center by an unknown person. He took the Egg with him at the nurse's insistence. When she hatched, Joy was given that name for two reasons: to honor the nurse who gave Mowtom the Egg, and because she is always overflowing with, well, joy.

Type: Fairy / Flying
  • Fairy STAB; The consecutive move usage penalty for using damaging Fairy-type moves is reduced to two (2) from four (4).
  • Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks and the Arena Trap Ability except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Will always hit foes with Dig (except other Flying types) and Dive. Cannot be hit by Dive unless the attacking Pokemon has a size class greater than four (4). Unaffected by Spikes or Toxic Spikes. when switching in. Able to hit Pokemon in the evasive stage of Bounce, Fly or Sky Drop with single target moves that hit Pokemon on the field regardless of position.
Abilities: Hustle / Serene Grace / Super Luck (Unlocked)
  • At default this Pokemon puts immense force and speed into its physical attacks, increasing the Base Attack Power of all its physical attacks by three (3), but the haste used lowers their accuracy to 80% of normal. When toggled, no effect.
  • This Pokemon has a blessing which doubles the success chance of its attack's secondary effects. (eg paralysis from Thunderbolt)
  • This Pokemon's natural skill increases its critical hit levels one stage above other Pokemon, making its normal moves inflict critical hits 12.5% of the time and its high critical hit moves inflict critical hits 50% of the time.

Type: Bug / Steel

"Oh no this could be bad. Between Dark Pulse, Blizzard, Hydro Pump, and the threat of U-turn, I can't comfortably send anybody in."
*yawn* "Look again."
"OH! Take a Life Orb, Bubble, we're in business."

IF
Greninja is under DE AND you don't have a Substitute up THEN Acid Armor the first time and Substitute (15) all subsequent times, restarting the action queue
IF Taunt AND you are not Taunted AND Greninja is not Taunted THEN Magic Coat and restart queue
IF Greninja is a Dark-type (this should cover for both pure Dark and Water/Dark) THEN Signal Beam the first and third times and Focus Blast the second, restarting the action queue

Why the hell don't I have Dark Pulse?

Oh well, off to a bad start we go...

"You forgot Overcoat+Magic Guard." -_- "Anyways, switching to Kent @ Link Cable. And please don't forget Regenerator."
"I am glad to participate in the heroic cause of fighting a threat to my team."
"Ugh. These orders feel so exploitable but I can't see how."
Infestation~Megahorn~Drill Run
IF
Bronzong is under P/E THEN Swords Dance and push back
IF Reflect is up on Bronzong's side of the field AND Bronzong is under the effects of Infestation THEN Swords Dance and push back, but only once
IF Bronzong is asleep AND Bronzong is under the effects of Infestation THEN Swords Dance and push back, but only once

I'm aliiiiiiiive.

Also God I missed Infestation in Reuniclus movepool, damn it :/

Oh well, let's see if we can make this work.

Also, #HateRegenerator.

Protect + Reflect - Cooldown - Psych Up

Here's hoping this won't fire back horribly.

Hint: it probably will.

Frosty I know you're on LoA and three days hasn't passed yet, so this isn't a warning, but I'm getting concerned this battle won't be finished in time.

I can't switch out, so might as well try and not lose the damage race by THAT much.

Heavy Slam - Rock Slide - Heavy Slam
- IF Counter THEN Psywave instead and restart queue.
- [ONCE] IF Rest THEN start string of actions Rest - Heavy Slam - Heavy Slam
- IF succesfuly P/E THEN Chill and restart queue.

... eh, I really don't know what to do.

11:00RainmanYou can't protect a dead Pokemon so sub shouldn't trigger
