Smash is in a bit of a corner dealing with a bulky pokemon, so he tries a new strategy sending out his Kitsunoh, looking to utilize both the SE STAB and the speed advantage. Kitsunoh starts with a brutal strike that inflicted a good deal of damage, as well as forced Deoxys to let its defense down some. Deoxys, unfazed by this attack, warps the battlefield, giving us all a quick sense of nausea as we get settled in. Seems like Deoxys needed these room change, as now it acts first and strikes hard, forcing Kitsunoh to drop its Rare Candy. Kitsunoh used Phantom Force, as if it was intending to dodge the attack, and still gets in good damage, even after losing its item. Deoxys shrugs the hit off and takes the time to heal itself, now worried about the impending damage, which appears to be just another Phantom Force. After this very defensive round, let's see how Frosty intends on maintaining his pressure in this match.
