jayelt413: You fixed everything I mentioned in #capasb, so you are good. APPROVED. (+.3AC to me, total is 1.8AC) Ooraloo: All is good. APPROVED. (+.3AC to me, total is 2.1AC) acidphoenix: You said you are spending 20 points on steel, which means you would not get tier 25 Steel moves (which you have put in your AB). However, if you were to spend only 20 points, you would have 5 points leftover to spend that you werent using. I am assuming you meant to purchase tier 25 of Steel, but accidentally put 20. Go ahead and edit in Typing 2: Steel (25 Points) for me, so that everything works out. UNLESS you did not want Tier 25 of steel, in which case please remove the four tier 25 specific steel moves. Fix and then you will be APPROVED. (+.3AC to me, total is 2.4AC)

IMPORTANT ADVENTURE BATTLE CHANGES/IMPLEMENTATION __________________________________________________
Hello Adventurers! After a discussion with Maxim, we both have decided that the backpack system needed a littler revamp; at the moment, adventurers could only have one pack (a very tiny pack) to store items. We decided that this was not practical for when the Adventurers climb up the ranks and challenge more difficult AB Stories and Chapters, so we are now implementing a new backpack system!
From this point all, Each trainer starts off with a Simple Backpack! This backpack is basically that pack everyone is used to and aware of. However, I have created a Backpack tier that you can upgrade; this way as you get more Adventure Tokens and challenge stronger Chapters, you have the ability to get a better backpack that can hold more items! All Trainers now have a Simple Backpack. If an ASBer has multiple trainers, they still only get just one Simple backpack. I suggest everyone go ahead and edit into their OG posts an "inventory" hide tag, that lists all your items (Backpacks, daggers, trash can lids, any item you have).
Below is the new Backpack Tiering system. Backpacks can hold lots of different items, and which kind of backpack you have decideds how much of a category of item you can hold during an AB.
Chapter Items: These are items that you might discover while in the middle of an adventure. Perhaps you are in a jungle and discover an Emerald Pansage Idol, which needs to be taken to the Jungle ruins to open a door. You could hold it in your hands, but not if you are already holding an item, or you want to battle/do RP actions. You will need to store it in your backpack most likely, in your Chapter Item slot. Chapter Items cannot be taken out of the AB Chapter; if you have any at the end of your AB, they will stay in the Chapter and will not go to your AB profile as a prize.
Utility Items: Sometimes available to find/get in ABs, you will usually have to purchase these in the main AB item shop. Utility items can help you do lots of Roleplaying actions, such as see in the dark (torches), float in water (rafts), or carve rock and wood to make certain objects (Carving Knife). Utilities are good to have when you dont have a Pokemon or trainer that can do a certain Roleplaying action. These items cannot be used in a battle encounter.
Support Items: Sometimes available to find/get in ABs, you will usually have to purchase these in the main AB Item shop. Support Items will help boost, buff, and heal your Party, and could save a life or two if a battle or event has left a party member on the brink of death.
Tool Items: Sometimes available to find/get in ABs, you will usually have to purchase these in the main AB Item shop. Tools are great for evening out a disadvantage in a battle or dangerous encounter, or helping you keep an advantage. They can give your trainer access to moves, abilities, or assist the whole party. These cannot be used unless the Party or trainer is in a battle encounter.
Loot Items: Adventure Battles take you all across the world, and you are bound to find secret treasures and prizes! You might find an extra trash can lid, or maybe unlock a secret puzzle to discover a rare battle weapon! Regardless of what you find, you'll need space in your backpack for Loot items. You may also use the Loot Item slot in your backpack to store Weapons/Defensive items you already own (but this means you have less space to keep new Loot items you might find!). Designated Prize items at the end of completing a successful AB Chapter will not take up Loot Item Slot space in your backpack.
Simple Backpack: A small pack that holds a few essentials. (x1 Chapter Item Slot, x1 Utility Slot, x1 Support Item, x1 Loot item). All ASbers get one of these when they create their first AB Trainer. Upgrades to: Basic Backpack [Requires 1AT]
Basic Backpack: A decent sized pack, this usually has enough room for Explorers. (x2 Chapter Item Slots, x2 Utility Slots, x1 Tool Slot, x1 Support Slot, x1 Loot Item slots).Upgrades to: Explorer's Backpack [Requires 2ATC]
Explorer's Backpack: A large pack that was made with many pockets for Explorers to pack with items. (x3 Chapter Item Slots, x3 Utility Slots, x1 Tool Slot, x1 Support Slot, x2 Loot Item Slots). Upgrades to: Survivalists' Backpack [Requires 3AT]OR Looter's backpack [Requires 3AT]
Survivalists' Backpack: A modern backpack especially made for long distance and dangerous trips. (x1 Chapter Item Slots, x5 Utility Slots, x3 Tool Slots, x3 Support Slots, x1 Loot Item Slot). Upgrades to: Expert's Backpack [Requires 5AT]
Looter's Backpack: A large duffel bag that can be used to stuff lots of treasure in. (x5 Chapter item slots, x1 Utility Slot, x1 Tool Slot, x1 Support Slot, x5 Loot Item Slots).Upgrades to: Expert's Backpack [Requires 5AT]
Expert's Backpack: This pack is the best for any and all adventures. You will have plenty of room for everything. (x5 Chapter Item Slots, x5 Utility Slots, x4 Tool Slots, x4 Support Slots, x5 Loot Item Slots). This Item does not Upgrade.
Eh, sorry for the double post but a few things have come up here that I want to clarify.
All backpacks and items bought with points (hereafter referred to as PTI's) will stay as they are in any ongoing Adventure Battles.
We're going to be changing these PTI's to cost either 2 CC (Rusty Dagger and co) or 1 AT (Longsword and co).
Everyone gets a Simple backpack, and the points they spent on any Point cost items are now refunded. This means anyone who has spent points on these or other PTI's should get their trainer profiles revised ASAP.
Anyone who had spent AT on a backpack BEFORE the beginning of the revamps, trades it for a Basic Backpack.
Sorry for the Confusion this has caused everyone.
On an unrelated note, I have promoted Glacier Knight to the position of Co-Admin. This means he can make administrative decisions should I not be around to do stuff. He has helped me a great deal with the revisions after the revamps, and for that I thank him. Anything mechanic changing should be run through me first, but he can make minor stuff happen (such as what I've just posted).
@FMD: talked to you on #capasb, just make sure you edit in a Sprite for your trainer (or else refs will have to provide you one and thats no fun). APPROVED. (+.3AT to me, total is 4.3AT)
- All items go into what's effectively a personal armoury when you buy them. So if I pay 2 CC for a Rusty Dagger, I can then equip that to any trainer I make
- Items no longer cost points to equip
With that in mind, I'm UPDATING Eris, and housekeeping;
- I haven't ever spent AT, so my backpack is a Simple Backpack
- I'm going to spend 2 CC on a Kid's Slingshot, which is making Eris very grumpy because it's a kid's toy.
- Eris no longer is spending 15 points on a Shortbow and 5 points on a Simple Backpack. This gives her 20 points to play with. We'll use 15 of those to give her 90 HP, and we'll put her other 5 points into 5 more speed, for 65.
There's not a security system in the world which can't be broke through by Eris. The fact that breaking through can vary from "picking a lock" to "triple homicide via a strategically placed cliff" really doesn't faze her either.
Nature: Quirky (-) Type: Poison / Dark Abilities: Infiltrator / Sniper / Run Away
Oh, and I guess I'll spend 2 CC on a Rusty Dagger. Stabbity stab :D
Nobody is entirely sure what to make of Mortimer. The body is certainly humanoid, and the emotions are certainly there, but there's more things wrong than right. And the last doctor that tried to examine him somehow spent a week recovering his medical knowledge.
Mortimer spends most of his time now exploring, often lending a hand to those who need guidance. Uh, metaphorically. Mortimer doesn't lend literal hands nowadays.
Mamoswindle: All good, just make sure you edit the items into your first AB Trainer post on this thread (and if you make a AB Trainer section on your Home Profile that'd be swell too). APPROVED (+.3 to me, total is 4.6AC)
