    • It has an afro.
    • Great base 110 Attack coupled with the best signature move in Pokemon, Afro Break, and a huge physical movepool allow Baffuron to dish out quite a bit of pain.
    • Herbivore makes it a great counter to most Grass-types.
    • Baffuron has good defenses and can take quite a few hits.
    • Baffuron's main weakness is his absolutely poor base 55 Speed, but that's the price one pays when sporting such a glorious afro.
    name: Choice Band
    move 1: Afro Break
    move 2: Wild Bolt
    move 3: Earthquake
    move 4: Payback / Megahorn
    item: Choice Band
    ability: Herbivore / Reckless
    nature: Adamant
    evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def

    Set Comments

    • Access to high Attack stat and great defensive stats on both ends allow Baffuron to hit hard and take hits.
    • Has ample coverage and a great ability to muscle through most physical walls in the game.
    • Afro Break allows Baffuron to harness the unmatched strength of its lustrous locks to 2HKO most things that don't resist it. Even titans such as Garchomp and Sazandora will run from Baffuron's mighty afro, lest they be consumed by its power.
    • Wild Bolt nails Skarmory and Burungeru with the power of hair-based static electricity for high damage who will otherwise wall Baffuron completely.
    • Earthquake destroys any non Flying or Levitating Steel-type looking to cut Baffuron's afro down to size.
    • Payback allows Baffuron to take down the Ghost-types that can come into Baffuron's Afro Break with impunity.
    • Herbivore allows Baffuron's afro to harness the power of Grass-type attacks, giving it both an immunity and an Attack boost.
    Additional Comments

    • Life Orb can be mentioned to provide more freedom into your moves, but the significant loss in power is a letdown.
    • Megahorn can be used over Payback if you have ample Ghost-killing support. Its main use it to nail the Grass-types Baffuron will usually come in on, most notably Celebi.
    • A Careful nature can be used to allows Baffuron to take hits from things like Shaymin-S more effectively.
    • Reckless can be used over Herbivore to make Afro Break more powerful at the cost of losing your immunity to Grass-type attacks.
    Teammates and Counters

    • Skarmory and Burungeru can come in on anything but Wild Bolt and set up on it or whittle it down with STAB Brave Bird/Boiling Water.
    • Ghost-types and Steel-types are issues in general as they can come in on Baffuron's STAB Afro Break easily and begin to set up.
    • Warubiaru can easily trap and KO Ghost-types with Pursuit.
    • Magnezone provides an easy sweep by trapping Steel-types such as Skarmory, Forretress, and Nattorei.
    • Choice Scarf Garchomp makes a good offensive partner as Baffuron will often draw in physical walls that check Garchomp. Once they are removed or weakened, Choice Scarf Chomp has the ability to steam roll most teams with its nice Speed stat and relatively high Attack stat.
    [Team Options]

    • Entry hazards to allows Baffuron to get some significant OHKOes and 2HKOes.
    • Screens allows Baffuron to take more hits.
    • Wish support allows Baffuron to heal off incurred recoil damage from Afro Break.
    • Pursuiters such as Warubiaru can eliminate Ghost-types with ease.
    • Magnezone is recommended to trap and KO Steel-types.
    • Pokemon that benefit from having Grass-types removed and that can switch in on Fighting-type attacks will enjoy having Baffuron as a teammate. Burungeru is a great example of this, as is Starmie.
    [Other Options]

    • Leftovers allows for more durability.
    • Stone Edge hits Flying-types such as Salamence and Borutorosu harder than Wild Bolt.
    • Baffuron gets Swords Dance, but is too slow to really use it effectively.

    • Baffuron is somewhat hard to counter as it is very powerful.
    • Bulky Ghost-types such as Pre Evolution Stone Dusclops and Desukan can take in on all day.
    • Skarmory can switch in on anything but Wild Bolt and begin setting up.
    • Forretress and Natorrei don't take too much from any of Baffuron's attacks and they too can set up on it.
    • Baffuron is easily revenge killed by Fighting-types as it is slow and does not have access to priority.
    [Dream World]

    • Baffuron receives Soundproof from the Dream World.
    • Soundproof offers no real benefits to Baffuron. Its other two abilities are far superior.

I've had success with a Life Orb Reckless set using Trick Room, I think it definitely deserves a mention. Being locked into a Normal-type move is never good with stuff like Burungeru and Nattorei on most teams. I also think that Herbivore shouldn't be slashed but should be mentioned in Other Options, Reckless is definitely the superior ability. Herbivore can come in handy if your team has a big Grass weakness or something but otherwise it's not ideal.

This guy will be a boss when there's a UU metagame!

Agreeing with locopoke. I share these exact same sentiments.

There isn't much else to say. You've pretty much covered all of the roles this bull can fulfill.
