Based Team (Peaked Under #1)

What's up this is my first Gen 6 RMT. I think it's really good but my actual battling ability is definitely worse than my team making skills (1753 on showdown)

Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Return
- Power-Up Punch
- Sucker Punch
- Earthquake

This pokemon is what I decided to base (dat pun tho) my team around. With Parental Bond it basically gets a free Choice Band. Pretty standard moveset: Return is a super strong stab, Power-up Punch is like Swords Dance, Sucker Punch is for Gengar, Earthquake checks Aegislash.

BlackWing (Talonflame) @ Flying Gem
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 192 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 60 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Flare Blitz
- Roost

Talonflame is here because steel types are Kangaskhan main problem. His Flare Blitz 1hkos pretty much any steel. I've been thinking about switching to Sharp Beak Brave Bird but the one Flying Gem boosted Acrobatics at +2 kills anything I've come across. EVs are to outspeed jolly Excadrill which is the fastest thing you would want to Flare Blitz, and 192 hp lets you switch into Stealth Rocks twice.

Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide

Obviously if you have Talonflame and Dragonite. you'll need Rapid Spin support (or Defog). Excadrill is the best offensive spinner (move over Starmie). I've thought about using a Defog user but I have no idea who I would use (maybe Latias?)

NotKeldeo (Terrakion) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Stone Edge
- Close Combat

Every team needs a pokemon with Stealth Rock and Terrakion is an excellent user of it. I used to have Smeargle in this spot but I realized he didn't really do much with the spore nerf. Terrakion also has taunt which is awesome for anti-leading. Stone Edge and Close Combat 1hko a lot of pokemon.

NoGoodNames (Aegislash) @ Spooky Plate
Ability: Stance Change
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sacred Sword
- Shadow Sneak
- Iron Head

Aegislash is an amazing wallbreaker capable of 2hkoing most of the metagame with Shadow ball + Shadow sneak. Plus he doubles as an excellent spinblocker complementing Terrakion. Iron head kills fairies for Dragonite. It's funny when people see Aegislash and expect me to use either Swords Dance or King's Shield then I proceed to murder them so hard they rage quit.

TaylorGang (Dragonite) @ Leftovers
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake

Since I have Excadrill and plenty of iron head support I might as well have Dragonite. I'm using Dragon Claw over Outrage because of all the fairies running around. Leftovers over Lum Berry because I haven't come across any status setters. I'm thinking about switching Earthquake for ExtremeSpeed because I have enough Aegislash checks.

Changed Smeagle for Terrakion. Changed Tyranitar for Dragonite.

Nice team, but for SR perhaps you should try Deoxys-S? It's like Smeargle, just faster and gets down hazards easier. It also has Extreme Speed for priority damage, which is always really nice. However, if you decide to continue using Terrakion, I'd say to drop Taunt in favor of Swords Dance. Furthermore, if you ever decide to use Smeargle, Parting Shot is a really nice fourth moveslot on him. :)

As for Extreme Speed on Dragonite, I'd actually say to drop Fire Punch, honestly...

If you want Defog, Scizor, Crobat, Skarmory, Gliscor, Lati@s are good at Defogging, but then you'll lose your hazards from Deoxys-S, if you decide to use it, which no one wants. Rapid Spinning is generally easier, imo, especially with Excadrill, who beats most, if not all, of the main spinblockers. The only spinblockers I can see giving it trouble are Gourgeist and Trevenant, where Trevenant loses if it's EV'd to beat Starmie.
